I quickly googled auto repair places that were open and would have Saturday hours because I was supposed to drive home by noon on Monday. Tire Discounters fit both of those criteria and *bonus* was within walking distance of my hotel. I called and asked if they could do a quick safety check. They were polite and said absolutely. It's a good thing I went. Front and rear brakes, calipers, and rotors as well as the outer tie-rods and sway bar links had all decided to go at the same time. Armando - the store manager- was kind and showed me the damage. And bless him, they had to go all over Nashville to source the parts and get them put on my car in time for me to leave exactly when I needed to. They went above and beyond, for sure, and helped me save as much money as I could on such an extensive, unexpected repair. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Long story short, beware of Tire Discounters a little south of Discount Tire on the same road. They were completely accommodating in every way possible. A night and day difference from Tire Discounters down to quoted price to actual price, customer service, wait time dropping the car off, wait time picking the car up-you name it. Francisco was one person who went above and beyond but I know there were other people who also did, names I don't know and I want to thank you as well! Thank you SO much for your hard work. We used to live in this area so I sent her back to Discount tire. I told her since it was about time to have the tires rotated so if they said anything about needing that done go ahead since we pay for that service. She was met by Connor who said they would not rotate since the tire needed repair. I then got a text messages letting me know the repair would be completed in 5 to 20 minutes. After two hours I called the store and was greeted by Jordon, I explained my concerns with the time issues. He explained they were busy and I said that I had been texted a wait time of 5 to 20 minutes. He did look it up and said I should not have been promised that time. I was then given a lesson in the tire business and told it's just busy. I reiterated I was texted a 5 to 20 minute wait time. I asked why my wife was told they were not going to rotate the tires? He then explained some people misunderstand what is told to them. This comment hit me the wrong way I guess. I told Jordon we had purchased this service and then I was given another lesson on tires. I have been very happy with this store for many years and feel today's experience has ended a relationship. I have multiple cars that have been serviced here and managed several fleets that now will need a new tire provider. Please know what you purchase and set expectations prior to doing business with Discount Tire and Jordon or Connor.
