(This review is only for the V3 location)…read more I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! I've been a member for over a year and had switched over from a different pilates studio. I was impressed with the reformer machines and everything was always so clean. What sold me was the 60 class deal. It was much more affordable than what I was paying at the other studio. I love having the flexibility to sign up for classes when I have time. I was even able to bring my hubby with me to class (text to arrange an extra booking) Bookings done on the MINDBODY app. I believe new classes get posted every 2 weeks. If a class is full, join the waitlist! There's a high chance you'll eventually get in! My favorite instructor is Kimi- she's clear with instructions, gently corrects our posture when we're a little off and challenges us. She also offers modifications depending on our comfort level. If you like extra spicy classes, definitely book Kylie's classes!! Vennu is more than just another pilates studio- they host fun events and the community is really welcoming. Follow them on Instagram for latest updates and special events!

Everything went well until they charge me again 4 months later. I texted the owner about it, no replied. I called them back to back. It took them awhile to answer my call. I was told they will refund my money back to my credit card. I've been waiting for couple days to see the return. Still no refund or pending refund. I had to call my credit card to dispute the charge. There was a comment from a past customer saying if you get on the owner bad side she will terminated your account. She was right. All my remaining 35 + passes that I haven't use yet are no longer on my account. I have to take a loss. I feel like it a waste of time reaching out about it. What's the point when she will remove my passes again. The promotion deal i brought No expiration FAMILY Sharable Combo 60 classes VENNU 1-2-3 $$595 Reg price is $710 Since you paid a portion we would just apply the difference.

I am grateful to Patrick and Shawna, they don't just "run" a gym, but they formed a community. I often drive 6th day up to their gym for their Saturday bootcamp, where it's a mix of cardio, core and boxing with warm-up and cool down. There's bigger name gyms out there with all the fancy machines, but you don't learn technique and don't get a complete workout. Now, I can do burpees, crunches and push-up with ease. I don't recall ever being so balanced in my fitness, meaning my cardio, core and strength is balanced. Side benefit is I don't slouch anymore! Side note, Patrick and Shawna also give back to the community and take in kids after school giving them a place to learn about exercise and boxing.

During COVID-19 Shawna and Patrick did a great job providing online classes which I really appreciated while being stuck inside. The gym is extremely clean and they have their own parking lot which makes parking a breeze. I usually attend their 6:00 classes and the other members quickly became friends. They also offer personal training sessions. Westside really is a little family :) If you're looking for a good workout with some awesome coaches Westside is the place for you!

The model of having the screens showing the exercises, the demo from the instructors at the beginning, and their coaching during the class make this a worthwhile exercise. While the routines here don't feel as intense as the Burkingame location, you absolutely will get a workout. And any class with Dionne or JR will be a great time. Showers, changing rooms, 2 bathrooms, water filling station, lockers (bring your own locks) all available. San Bruno parking has an awful system and aggressive enforcement, so don't forget to pay.

F45 gives me a great mix of similar HIIT-style workouts, but in a more fun, community-driven, and cost-effective format. I love that there are separate cardio and strength days--it keeps things balanced and never boring. Compared to OTF, F45 feels more well-rounded. I do sometimes miss machines, so I'll take a day or two to hit the gym, but F45 is my main workout. This location is conveniently located close to 280/101. It's spacious, clean, the equipment is well maintained and the coaches are always upbeat and supportive. The unlimited pass is also flexible and lets you visit other studios which is convenient when I'm running late from work or traveling. I've checked out F45 in SF, San Mateo, Burlingame, Pittsburgh, and Newport Beach Highly recommend if you want variety, structure, and a strong fitness community.

I've done CrossFit for 10+ years, and these coaches still find ways to correct and challenge me, which I greatly appreciate. I love their facility; this is the only gym that has an indoor sauna, ice bath room, offers towel service, supplies lifting belts, and has plenty of space for good-sized classes and even for those extra people working on mobility or anything else at the same time. What's unique about Crossfit San Carlos' facility is their green turf that allows us to do indoor sled pulls & pushes, handstand walking work, shuttle runs, etc. I truly appreciate that warm-ups are varied and not the same every day. The workouts are challenging and have given me results through sustainable progress. Since joining in Oct. 2024, I'm down 2 sizes from XL to Medium! For someone who works from home needing some good 'ole fun and giggles, the people and community are friendly and welcoming.

Truthfully, I was scared and babying my knee, and I started to gain weight. I joined ClassPass to try out different studios and gyms. I had actually tried Basecamp back when it first opened in Burlingame, and it terrified me--but I decided to give it a second chance, and I'm so glad I did. I took my first few classes through ClassPass and eventually decided that when my membership ended, I was going to sign up and become a member. Wendy was amazing at explaining everything thoroughly, and everyone there is so welcoming. They even knew my name before I knew theirs--it kind of felt like Cheers: "Where everybody knows your name" (lol). Every single coach I've interacted with or taken a class has been nothing short of amazing. Jerileen, Lacey, Alicia, and Angeline: they'll never know how much they've motivated me and how much of an impact they've had on my health, fitness, and recovery. I'm so glad I joined--and you should too. I've also taken a class at the Burlingame location, which I loved as well. They were just as nice. It just happens that the San Mateo location is on my way home or to work, and I really like the vibe and how welcoming it I am down 10 pounds since I've joined my biggest advice don't feel overwhelmed become friends with your neighbor or your partner and they can guide you. I showed up 5 minutes early and instead of focusing on onboarding or safety, the staff prioritized forcing me to create a marketing account and hand over my email before class. Nobody asked about **my knee pain** or offered workout modifications like Basecamp or Burlingame Fitness did. I was thrown into a dark room mid-class with no idea where my station was, what weights to use, or even how to start(!) the treadmill, while the oversized class made it impossible for the instructor to notice I was struggling. I had to stop multiple times just to change weights and restart. Change and restart. In the end, I lost the class credit and time.
