There are already so few remaining options for plus-size shoppers who want to shop in person, which made this experience, though small in the grand scheme, especially disappointing. I was the only customer in the store with two sales associates working. The store was already straightened up and it was clearly a slow period, yet I wasn't greeted when I walked in, wasn't acknowledged while browsing, and even let myself into the fitting room, and exited without anyone saying a single word to me. I know they saw me because I made eye contact with one of the associates when I came through the door. I also recognize this may not be representative of the store as a whole, and perhaps I just visited during an off shift. Even so, every customer deserves to be acknowledged. My hope is that management shares this feedback with the team, not because I expect over-the-top service, but because I feel as though these associates failed to meet the bare minimum. For many plus-size shoppers, stores like Lane Bryant are among the few places where we can still shop in person. I think it's important that people recognize the impact of making plus size customers feel invisible in a space that is explicitly for them, that exist in a landscape (retail or otherwise) where plus size people are already preferred to be invisible.

There were several associates at the front, but no acknowledgment at all. When I asked about an item on a mannequin, I felt like I was inconveniencing the associate. No one offered to start a fitting room or checked in while I was trying things on. As a recent breast cancer survivor who went through a double mastectomy, shopping for clothes can already feel difficult and emotional because my body has changed so much. A simple welcome or 'Can I help you?' would have meant a lot. Unfortunately, I left feeling ignored and discouraged. I also think the store could really benefit from having self-checkout or express checkout lanes. Some customers have carts full of items, while others are waiting in the same line with only one or two things to buy, which makes the wait feel longer. Overall, I left satisfied with my shopping experience. The prices are above average, so I don't come here very often because of that. Back in January, I had an issue with items that were delayed for a month due to shipping and weren't delivered on time for my birthday trip--something that was completely outside the store's control. Even so, Crissy took ownership of helping me track everything down and worked to find a solution instead of simply saying there was nothing she could do. That level of care made a stressful situation much easier. I recently returned to the store, and once again Crissy went above and beyond while assisting with my transaction. What impressed me most was that she remembered both my name and my wife's name from months ago without my wife ever being physically present just from conversation. That kind of genuine personal connection is rare and speaks volumes about the care she puts into every customer interaction. Before meeting Crissy, I wasn't much of an Adidas shopper. Her hospitality, professionalism, and commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience have completely changed that. She has genuinely influenced me to become a more frequent customer. Having worked in retail for 17 years myself, I know firsthand how difficult it is to consistently deliver service at this level. I would love to have many "Crissys" on my own team. I tried to cancel the order it won't let me I call and chat with the AI chat bot. It says I have to wait for the order to arrive and not pick it up. They don't know when the order will arrive. My wife told her we were just browsing so she told us about their deals My wife saw a jacket that she like on the rack and it had a shirt too. She thought the price was for both items since they were on the same hanger but upon closer inspection they were separately price. So it was kind of pricey for both items together. They have the fitting room toward the back of the store.
