There are already so few remaining options for plus-size shoppers who want to shop in person, which made this experience, though small in the grand scheme, especially disappointing. I was the only customer in the store with two sales associates working. The store was already straightened up and it was clearly a slow period, yet I wasn't greeted when I walked in, wasn't acknowledged while browsing, and even let myself into the fitting room, and exited without anyone saying a single word to me. I know they saw me because I made eye contact with one of the associates when I came through the door. I also recognize this may not be representative of the store as a whole, and perhaps I just visited during an off shift. Even so, every customer deserves to be acknowledged. My hope is that management shares this feedback with the team, not because I expect over-the-top service, but because I feel as though these associates failed to meet the bare minimum. For many plus-size shoppers, stores like Lane Bryant are among the few places where we can still shop in person. I think it's important that people recognize the impact of making plus size customers feel invisible in a space that is explicitly for them, that exist in a landscape (retail or otherwise) where plus size people are already preferred to be invisible. read more

As a recent breast cancer survivor who went through a double mastectomy, shopping for clothes can already feel difficult and emotional because my body has changed so much. I have been to this store 3 times in the past and purchased few things. However, I haven't been there in a very long time. Probably over 7 years or so. I was in Glendale earlier today and being in the area needed to buy few undergarments and lingerie. They have Women's clothing, pajamas, accessories, lingerie, and undergarments. Walked in to the store and 2 very nice, helpful employees approached me and wanted to know what was it that I needed? I told them what I need and they showed me few items, I grabbed them and went inside their dressing room to try them on. The 1st pajama that I tried, was a little small on me, the 2nd undergarment was also small on me. Well, I am a plus size on the top and somewhat medium on the bottom. Prices are not that cheap, but they will work something with you. They got my email address and told me that once they have those things in stock, they will ship them to me, or I can go and pick them up at the store. Store was very clean along with the dressing rooms. Ample parking in the front!! Plus sizes are available for all types of bodies. They also have items that are on sale. Can't wait for them to email or call me to say that they got the things that I have ordered, so I can go pick them up. read more

First of all it was over ten minutes before anyone acknowledged me, despite there being 3 employees and I was the only customer. It's the same every time I go in there. Employees are all just chatting and ignoring customers. Racks are so packed with clothes you can barely pull anything out to look at it. Then the fitting rooms! Disgusting barely covers it. Thick with dirt, mold, and missing and filthy ceiling panels. Feels unsafe in there. Is this store shutting down? It certainly isn't being managed like they want to stay open. read more

You guys it always pays to say something. I saw a email on 50 % off everything but I didn't go any further than that that it was online only. I went to the store didn't see any signage so when I tried on the bras, I double checked the website and saw it was online only . I put the bras back on the rack and advise the person behind the counter that we purchasing online because I didn't fully read the email and they both said no problem they can accommodate me and honor the sale . Three stars is generous, and reflects more of my history with LB than today's reality. Probably should be two stars. This store has very little parking, for a start. It's in a little strip mall with several other businesses and nowhere near enough parking. The employees were nice and friendly, but the store has gone to Hades -- I guess like the brand has -- in recent years. I've always been plus sized and I've always happily shopped at LB, have done so since I was a teenager and now I'm in my 60s. I have never walked out of a LB store without buying something. Until last weekend. And there was absolutely nothing there I wanted to buy. Mid-May, Los Angeles County, pool season already just about upon us, and there were no swimsuits except a small rack of ones the employee told me were last year's returns. I suppose part of the problem is that LB used to be almost the only show in town for us plus-sized women, and now there are many many places that offer pretty clothes for us. It's doubtful I'll return to this store. And that makes me sad. read more

I have recently lost weight and needed to go in to the store to find out my new size. I picked about 25 to 30 things. I had to ask for them to put some in a dressing room for me. Every other time I have gone into the store they have asked me, I've never had to find them for that before. When I finally went in I was told that the no's were to be put on a rack. When they checked on my I told them that I had lost weight and I needed new sizes. No attempt was made to replace the sizes of the 25-30 items for me to try on. When I left the dressing room 7 of the 25 items were not put on the rack but I left them in the room. While checking out I was informed that the next time I needed to hang up the clothes I didn't want on the rack. I've been a Lane Bryan Costomer for years and these two woman couldn't have cared less about me. I ended up spending about $300 and I'm expected to hang up all the close I tried on? I will not be returning to this store ever again. read more

Let me just say that the staff are doing a good job sanitizing the dressing rooms, sanitizing the check out counter and limiting entrance to 10 people at a time. However, I along with four other women, one a senior, who were there to shop, were asked to stand outside in line becuase one customer was in the store with her 3 kids and a grandma, who were not shopping, without masks, and touching products. When one of the sales associates came out side, we attempted to highlight that there were unnecessary people (kids) inside the store. The shopper in fron of me said, "We just feel bad that those kids are in there that are not contributing. The sales associate reponded with, "They are people too". We are not against kids, we are against the blantend disrespect for the fellow consumer by allowing one shopper and her family to pretty much take over the whole store. read more

I would like to leave a pleasant review for Maria the manager whom made me feel welcomed as I needed new fittings on bras. She was very careful and followed sanitizing protocols on fitting rooms and registers were disinfected by theresa. They have available hand sanitizer too. I got new bras and maria was running back and forth to help me find the best fit for me. I was treated really well by everyone there. These ladies are polite and treat you delicately good. DO NOT OPEN A LANE BRYANT CREDIT CARD. Lane Bryant DOES NOT honor their own contractual service agreements and will not even allow you legal access to your OWN account information. They claim this is for security reasons but that makes no sense because our identity can be confirmed, as it always is when we call in. This is unprofessional and corrupt as it stands to only financially benefit Lane Bryant by holding us to these credit accounts with no legal access of our own. This is a breach of their good faith agreement and shows me they are not the same company they once were. Customer Service is as poor as their business practices. Save yourself the headache and just use a reputable credit card not associated with Lane Bryant brand. read more

Pretty much done with this store. The employees just lied to my face, twice. The first time they told me they don't return stuff after it was torn up in the first wash, even though their main office has done it for me before. And the second thing they said was they don't have the product, when I turned around to see it hanging on a rack behind me. It's not like she was busy, she was folding shirts and chatting with her coworker, who was also just as unhelpful. There were no other customers asking for help at the time. Best customer service I've ever had!! Seriously, my favorite bra of 5 years decided to snap the underwire. Oh the pain... But I suffered through breakfast. Then went around the corner to the store. Although they don't open until 10 when I walked up to the door they let me in at 9:50am. I know it's only 10 min, but they could have made me wait. So on to the great customer service l stepped in said my favorite bra had picked today to render it's resignation, and she asked some basic questions and led me to an everyday wear bra. That was just what I was looking for. Underwire, no padding, and no molded cups. The down side it comes in limited colors. Pink, black and cream. Hannah the sales associate that helped me was great, and although I had not previously purchased a bra in store, I would definitely recommend it. Much cheaper than the brands I usually purchase (mine today were $38.90 each). I also was able to take advantage of the 40% Presidents' Day sale Can we say score! They store layout was brightly light and uncluttered. The sale items were clearly marked and displayed close to the cash register. The items on mannequins were displayed near by. I hate having to walk clear across the store to look for items. I went in for a bra and left with 2 bras, yoga pants and a pair of Navy ankle dress pants. read more

I came here today to this location and I got multiple bras and there were 3 or 4 employees there and the whole 30 min I was in the store not one employee asked if I needed help with anything. I will no longer return for the simple fact that I have been a returning customer forever cuz I love thier bras, but my boyfriend buys me a bra and it wasn't the correct one so I went in for an exchange no receipt cuz my bf didnt give me and she told me I was only getting 10$ credit from a 45$ bra that was just purchased few days ago. I was not impressed with this store. I've been in several times and always find new staff. Some are wonderful and some don't even acknowledge you. The store is kind of junky looking...it's set up like a Target or Walmart, however, their prices sure aren't as low! I'm not sure why the clothing in this store is so expensive...it's not any better than Khol's or Ross clothing. I would only shop their if there was a major clearance or BOGO sale. read more

This is my go-to store that's closest to where I live. Honestly, it's not as nice as their old store at the Galleria, but it's about 2/3 the size of the old one. Customer service can be a bit slow, esp. when the store is never very busy, but they are nice and accommodate me when I need another size. Can it be better customer service? Yes. The customer service at this store has always been good the majority of the time. The rest of the time it has been adequate. I have found that if I ask for help, they help me willingly and without any attitude. Many times they have been very kind and supportive of my needs. The store has always been neat and I have visited different times of day. When I have had to order from the store because they did not have my size, it has never been a problem. Yesterday I had to attend a funeral. I needed a pair of black stylish pants to compliment my blouse I was wearing. I was in a rush and needed to buy the slacks and leave quickly. Paula and Maria were WONDERFUL! I put the pants on and left with them on. They removed the electronic tag while I still had the new pants on! I didn't have time to remove them, then put them back on, so they quickly accommodated my need. Thank you so much for helping me arrive at the funeral on time. It's interesting to read all of the horrible reviews on the service at this location, since I was assured I was alone in my complaints by staff & higher ups. I've been to this store over the course of 2 years, every single time I am ignored by staff until I ask for a fitting room or ask someone to ring me up. Staff will be in full on convos with each other though. I'm treated more like an annoyance than a customer every time. I too had a return issue here. Burbank goofed & double charged me, I was told over the phone to go into my local store....which is Glendale, but I avoid due to reasons stated above. I was told very rudely I needed to go back to Burbank & was dismissed by the manager. I asked her to help me as this situation was not my fault & I had proof of what happened. She called Burbank to ask if they remembered telling me I could do this at her store, they said no, so she hangs up on their staff & confirms how wrong she "knew" I was. I then explained to her their service sucks & the only reason I was there was due to a mistake that I had no control over, if she would help me I would get out of her store & not return. She snapped at me that I could wait until she was done, on top of the 20 minutes I had already been waiting. She then rudely calls the other store telling them about the hassle I am causing her, & I explain to her while she is on hold that this is why I do not shop there. She snaps at me that is MY opinion, & I remind her yes that is the CUSTOMERS opinion. She then tells me to "stop talking to her because she is not listening to me". She did handle the return of the item I never received, & I thanked her for her help. I let her know that is not the way to handle a business, & if they wanted to do well they should be more courteous to their customers. She stared at me blankly as if she couldn't care any less, then after about a minute of staring at me muttered "sorry you feel that way" as she waited for me to leave. I was in line waiting for at least 10 minutes before she even noticed me originally & I never once saw this woman smile, her whole attitude screamed she hates her life & her job. I complained to her boss who seemed to not be too concerned, as she swears this store has never received any negative feedback. I then spoke over the phone with the manager at Burbank who apologized endlessly for the hassle, & asked me to please come shop with them again, to not let this bad experience keep me from both stores. It was a mistake on Burbanks part & I get that happens, this has been my only issue with them. They really get customer service & conflict resolution, I was trying to get back $8 for christs sake. I will be shopping at Burbank in the future, but I will never set foot in the Glendale LB again, & will tell as many people as I can they do not value their customers AT ALL. read more

Worst customer service ever. The manager Fatimah, rude and pretty incompetent. The employee Carmen is passive aggressive and useless. I was waiting in a line that was their normal 40 mins (Read other negative reviews below.) and Carmen couldn't figure out the register so she kept swiping my card over and over again. I explained to her that by doing so Bank of America would be charging and putting on hold the $200 every time she did it, even if it doesn't go thru. She told me she wasn't doing anything and kept on swiping, undoing and reswiping. Again, I asked her to be sure because, she will be putting the amount I was using for rent on hold, and she said again she wasn't doing that and said she would even pay my rent because she was so sure. She did this a total of FOUR times, I check my bank account and they put about $800 on hold and because they kept swiping for the same amount over and over, they called it fraud and froze my ATM card. This was a 3 day weekend, so it wouldn't clear on my bank until Tues and for 3 days, I had no money because she couldn't figure it out, if she would only think first... then do it would have saved the hassle. When I told her what happened and showed her my bank statement on the BOA app, she told me it's not her fault and when I started complaining she brushed me off and said "Have a good day." When I said it was stupid because I had to suffer for her incompetence, she said "You too" and that just set me off. She constantly ignored me or passive aggressively brushed me off. When I asked to speak to the manager, Fatimah came over and didn't do anything. She said she's aware and it's not their issue. When I asked to speak to her boss and she told me to look it up online. An apology for the inconvenience would have been nice. 4 days being unable to use my card because the bank is closed because of their error is a huge inconvenience, instead I got rudely brushed aside and insulted. read more
