So I never write reviews but feel compelled. I was referred to Dr. Dall'olmo by my dentist who was adamant that I see this periodontist for gum recession. I walked in and was immediately takenm care of. His front desk personnel was professional, kind and helpful. I was taken in and Dr. Dall'olmo looked at my gums and despite having issues, he said that I did not require any surgery and that I should return if I presented with symptoms. I'm a health care provider and have recently went through a bunch of testing at UCLA. Of course evcerything was normal but I felt like I was over tested and over treated. This man could have done surgery on my receded gum line and made a ton. He did not. He was ethical, funny, kind and most of all honest. Worst dentist I've EVER been to! They YELLED at me because I was late when I live in West Hollywood. I wanted to reschedule since they were going to shorten the service but one secretary started SCREAMING - "GET OUT!" Insulting! Terrible customer service. Unsafe and scary environment. They are now making an excuse for insulting me because I was late, there is no excuse to scream and assault people! The lady who screamed and shrieked at me was not even part of the conversation, she ran out from the back room and behaved as though she was in the ghetto ready for a street fight. Low class and poor customer service! Shame on you! It does not even deserve 1 star, nasty! And by the way, I was 5 minutes late but could not find parking. The establishment does not provide you with parking or validation in the event you decide to pay for parking. I had to make rounds to look for traffic at 9 am during rush hour. They will always schedule you at random times. I believe they asked for a good review or 5 stars because the place is old, run down, and dirty! Also, speaks poorly about this place in general that the dentist ignores if not defends abusive staff behavior. I thought they would brandish weapons! Went to Dr. Dall'Olmo for a dental procedure and he was very honest about risks and alternatives. Ended up getting a tooth extraction and it was painless. Regardless, I extremely anxious the whole time (I get horrible intrusive thoughts during dental work) and the entire staff was kind and gentle. I took the prescribed ibuprofen the evening after surgery, but regular Advil sufficed afterward to manage mild swelling and tenderness. I'm a little over 2 weeks out and recovery has been going smoothly. read more

This review is long overdue as Dr. Dall'Olmo has helped me with two gum grafts and likely a third later this year. His office is great, his work is excellent, and I trust him implicitly. I was first referred to Dr. Dall'Olmo by my primary dentist of 16 years because I needed a gum graft but he didn't perform them. He spoke very highly of Dr. Dall'Olmo, saying he was an outstanding dentist. When I was leaving, the front desk told me my dentist sends all of his patients to Dr. Dall'Olmo for tissue work and gave a second glowing endorsement. Before doing any work, Dr. Dall'Olmo really takes the time to explain the situation and what your options are. He then works quickly and efficiently. The two gum grafts he's done are barely noticeable, so my smile is preserved and my mouth looks exactly as it did before. One other thing I appreciate about him is his honesty and integrity. He's really in it for the patient; he'll tell you if the work is really necessary and his staff will help navigate the sometimes-confusing maze of insurance. And speaking of his staff: they're great. Super-helpful, responsive to questions and concerns, and also just great people. It's very easy to work with them. I first saw Dr. Dall'Olmo in 2019 and have had no problems whatsoever with any of the work he's done. My first two grafts look exactly the same and I haven't needed any adjustments. In fact, my primary dentist has repeatedly remarked on just how well they were done. Honestly...if I wasn't so loyal to my primary dentist, I'd switch over to Dr. Dall'Olmo in a heartbeat. Before hand I apologize for the long review, it's rare that I feel an office deserves such praise, but I don't take choosing a dentist lightly. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Dall'olmo and his staff. I work in the dental tech field and deal with dentists on a daily basis. It's pretty easy to spot a dentist that still enjoys and takes pride in their work, Dr. Dall'olmo is definitely one of those rare doctors. I have quite a bit of work to be done and went to roughly 4 other dentists for consultations (all with high ratings) before deciding on Dr. D. He was very comforting and made me feel like the work was nothing he couldn't handle (which has indeed been the case). I had an implant recently placed and Dr. D. made sure to follow up with me personally during the crucial first hours/days to assess my healing and discomfort. It was reassuring to speak with him directly. I've also had several cleanings done and the hygienist has easily been the best I've had, gentle but beyond thorough. I really enjoy catching up with her and I always leave feeling much better and confident in the care I've received. As if things couldn't be better Dr. D and Dr. Gaminchi (Dr. Dall'olmo's wife) share the practice together. This has been great because I can schedule with her if ever required. For example I once needed some quick work taken care of (filling) and Dr. Gaminchi was absolutely wonderful. She was able to see me on short notice and her work was spot on. It's nice having a couple take care of my dental health because I never feel a disconnect between the doctors. They are both more than aware of my previous work and can plan accordingly. The front staff are also something to write home about. Brenda at the front desk is easy to get a hold of via phone or email, and is an absolute sweetheart. This is important because my hectic work schedule makes it difficult to communicate via phone during work hours. Whenever I send an email I receive a response quickly and can schedule or move around dates with ease. Lastly, and very importantly the office has been wonderful about pricing and options that fit my budget. Their pricing is reasonable (and I should know, I work with dentists and know their margins!!). This office seems to be more about keeping a life long patient then gouging you on each treatment. Obviously very important when choosing a dentist. Give Dr. D and Gaminchi a shot, I did and won't be going to anyone else for as long as they'll have me! read more

Growing up, I've always been hesitant to see the dentist (in small part due to apathy, but mostly because of my past bad experiences) - until I came to Dr. D in '07. I've been with him since. Naturally, I had to follow them to Santa Monica when they moved from the Palisades. I've had numerous procedures done ranging from regular cleanings to gum graft surgery. Like the control freak that I am, I need to know exactly what's gonna happen, when and how. Each time, Dr. D and his staff makes me feel at ease, answering all my questions, and walking me through the procedure as we go. Surgical Services: Dr. D did an excellent job. My gum graft looks great with no complications, and I no longer have sensitivity in that area of my tooth. Dental Hygiene: The best hygienist I've had, HANDS DOWN. Then, I wanted to match my new crowns with projected color of my teeth and Dr. Dall'Olmo graciously offered to put on temporary crowns until whitening is done. I just can't sing enough good praises for this man, Dr Fabrizio Dall'omo. I went into his office because of discomfort of an implant placed by a " cheap" periodondist elsewhere. He took me in as a "walk in" patient. He took x rays of the area, and found that there was way too much cement placed by the other dentist. He emailed the other dentist his opinion, which was soo very nice and above what most any dentist would do. He did re assure me that the implant was good, just the crown had too much cement. He told me that there should not even be cement, that crowns on implants should be " screw-ins". That makes sense. that way, dentists can get to the implant without cement getting in the way. All this, plus SUCH A NICE DEMEANOR AND SOOOO, SO KIND!Unbelievable HE didn't even charge me a dime for Any of this. This means a lot to a widow like myself, whose dental insurance went away when my husband passed away. Dr Dall "Omo is such a bright light , in a sea of dismal dentists that don't care, or, don't know what they are doing. It is rare to see such human compassion anywhere these days. HE is a true top notch dentist./ periodontist. He is also associate professor at USC dental school, and has had various awards for Dental professionalism and expertise.i am soo grateful that I found him .. his staff is so friendly and professional as well. I never review, and I need to share this review. I want to help you on your journey to find answers for the type of periodontal care you should receive. When I heard from my dentist that I needed to see a periodontist, and I had gum recession, my heart sank. It sank ever more after the treatment plan I received from the periodontist my dentist recommended. Many of the procedures seemed unnecessary and the staff demonstrated very little empathy and professionalism. Living in LA, I always seek a second opinion for any type of medical procedure I need. How fortunate for me that I received my second opinion from Dr. Dall'Olmo! If you need gum graft surgery, do all you can to see Dr. Dall'Olmo. His professional evaluation of what you need is realistic, treats the issue at hand, and he cares about the long-term outcome of his surgeries. His approach is empathetic and sincere--he called me the night of my surgery to ensure I was recovering well and if I needed anything. Dr. Dall'Olmo also provided means to contact him off-hours should the need arise. His professional staff shows empathy, and it's always a pleasure interacting with everyone. I'm not much of a reviewer but HAD to review after 2 years of seeing Dr. Dall'Olmo and having my expectations exceeded! First of all, I LOOOOVE the staff. Everyone's kind, attentive, responsive and treats you as if you are their own patient. Secondly, Dr. Dall'Olmo CALLS to make sure you, your teeth, gums, etc are good (e.g. when it's standard for patients to have discomfort hours later, etc...) Third, he and his staff are available if you have any questions prior to, during, or following appointments. I've asked any and everything under the sun before, during, and after my appointments and not once were they bothered. :) I'm particular and meticulous when it comes to any doctor. What could have been an unpleasant process went great and Dr. D made himself fully available in case any problems came up (none did). I feel very fortunate for this recommendation and wish I had known about his office earlier. He also helped me find a pediatric dentist for my 4 year old daughter. I have been meaning to right this review for the last few years because this office is owed so much praise! Hubby and I are the BIGGEST fans of Dr. Fabrizio Dall'Olmo and his amazing staff. A few years ago, I had received a questionable diagnosis from a dentist and went looking for another opinion. I emailed Dr. Fabrizio's office and thinking I was going to hear from a receptionist, I received a personal email from Dr. Fabrizio himself! He was so caring and I went in right away. The diagnosis was incorrect and Dr. Fabrizio has been my dentist ever since. And, I always know I'm going to get stellar cleanings from Risa. She is fabulous, never hurts, and I always look forward to catching up with her each appointment. Another wonderful asset to this office is the office manager Brenda. I cannot praise her enough for how kind and on top of it she is...she really cares for Dr. Fabrizio's patients and always tries to work with our schedule. This was the best experience I have had in any dentistry related office. The Yahoo Center location is by far one of the most beautiful in LA and looking down upon the gardens is this deceivingly large office. The staff is exceptionally attractive, smart, friendly, and informative to the point that I learned more about Phosphorous ions and their permeability effects on teeth than I did in college. Very few people look forward to their mouth doctor's appointment but now I am with a feeling of excited anticipation rather than determined avoidance. On a side note, Dr. Dall'olmo has a soothing italian accent that makes anyone feel at ease. read more

This office is amazing! Starting when you walk in the door, Brenda takes care of everything for you as if you are the only patient they have ever had! I had to get a dental implant. I was terrified. Dr. Dall'Olmo was so generous with his patience and time, carefully describing the procedures and the steps that needed to be taken. He put me at ease, which is not an easy trick for me with anything involving dental procedures! Brenda spoke with me as well in such a tender hearted manner. Both the surgeries were painless, if you can believe that! My recovery was painless and he called the first evening after each surgery. Dr Dall' Olmo has performed tissue grafts on my gums on three occasions, and I can only say that in each case the experience has been professional, expertly done, and with the minimum of residual pain. I have had the surgery done under full, partial and local anesthetic and in each case the experience was comfortable. Dr Dall'Olmo's staff are also skilled and professional, and very pleasant. If I could give 10 stars I would. Over the weekend I was having severe shooting pain in my jaw, head and neck due to a deeply decade/infected molar. ER helped by providing me with pain killers to keep me sleeping through Monday. Monday came around I called my dentist in Culver City-no answer. I tried multiple times. Around 8:30am, I searched yelp for an oral surgeon in my area. Dr. D was the first selection. I called, Brenda heard me out and told me to come in right away. Dr. D saw me right away and gave me his diagnosis. I was back in his chair at Noon getting my molar removed. He was gentle, caring and fast. He advised me on how to care for my wound and I was SHOCKED when he said he would call me personally to check in on me later that evening. NEVER has a doctor called me after a procedure to see how I was doing. He said I could text him if I had any questions. I am just so overwhelmed by the empathy and love Brenda and Dr.D showed me. My recent gum graft surgery... 2 surgeries actually. The first was so great, I came in for another ;) jk. All jokes aside, the doctor and his staff are competent, professional, patient and accommodating. This all makes for a very friendly and relaxing atmosphere despite my dental phobia. Dr. Dall'Olmo was recommended to me by a general dentist and I bless that dentist and the day I met Dr. D!!!! I moved here from Texas with ongoing, extensive dental problems and Dr. Dall'Olmo was ready for the challenge! He is caring, thorough, and extremely personable.
