I LOVE everyone here at Fabulous Nails! Jenny, Louis and their mom are always so nice and always do an amazing job! I tried out a couple of salons around El Monte, before landing on this gem and they've been my go to nail salon ever since, going on almost 2 years! It's always relaxing and I could literally nap while getting my nails and feet done! Thank you guys for always taking great care of me!

Thank you for your response, Louis. I'd like to clarify a few things respectfully. You are correct that the charge was $75, not $80--thank you for the correction. However, $75 is still on the higher end for a basic acrylic French tip set, especially considering the quality I received and how unhappy I felt with the result. It's also worth noting that while the nail service itself took about 1 hour and 15 minutes, the total time I spent in the salon--including waiting and the pedicure--was much longer. I understand that timing may vary, but I was in the salon for about 3 hours overall. I did express polite approval during the appointment, but that was out of discomfort and social pressure--not true satisfaction. Many customers feel hesitant to speak up mid-service, especially when unsure how their concerns will be received. That doesn't make their dissatisfaction invalid. I hope this helps clarify my experience from a customer's perspective. I'm sharing my review so others can make informed choices, just as reviews are meant to do.

I came in today and was immediately attended to which was amazing, walked in at 1:45 and was out the door by 3pm. I actually came during a sale special of 15% off which was a pleasant surprise. I'm not sure how long the special is but the customer service and quality was so good I'll go back whether they have a special or not. Nancy did my spa pedicure, without gel and Karen did my gel X set, (it cost me 85$ that's without tip) they both did amazing, love my nails. Thanks again ladies!

I've been coming to Chi for a little over 2 years and I have no complaints. I've even had Louis do my nails and he does an amazing job as well. Nails are not cheap like they use to be. But every penny I have paid for my nails has been worth it. I get so many compliments on my nails all the time.

This was my first time coming to this location and never again! A male did my nails I forgot his name but he didn't do a good job. He was very friendly which I appreciated but did a horrible job. Some of my nails looked like they were already growing out the first day I got them and the back of the nail wasn't fully filled. He even said "I'll fix it" but didn't. I really hope he was just having an off day or something because I can't imagine calling myself a nail tech but producing the low quality work. Overall would not recommend this place and not going back again!

My first and last time here. I am incredibly disappointed on the results of my pedicure. She cut my feet too excessively, came out worse than how I came in. I've never experienced this pain before when I get a pedicures. She's very sweet, I just wished she was more careful and light handed. Don't spend $42 on pedicure here! Save your money going elsewhere.

I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but I couldn't let it go the photo doesn't show everything, I had to pay 80 dollars for this, I don't recommend this place girls!

Update** I ended up talking to the guy who did my nails who happens to be the owner and came to an agreement that it was a lack of communication and he asked me to come back free of charge so he can redo them. He was kind enough to come on his day off since Mondays are my only days off to redo my nails.

OVERCHARGED. Louis charged me $68 for a gel pedicure and $135 and the finish product was not worth that amount. Charging by length and overcharging for the simplest designs. He said he gave me $7 back but my friend was right next too me and she saw it was $14 yet he says it was only $7 when i left the tip as what he gave me back which was $14. I'm gonna bring this Nail Salon down. I'm gonna report. Watch your back Louis. read more

The shop is located in the corner of a small plaza looking out to the street. Stepping into Fabulous Nails, you are greeted with sparkly gold and silver decor, a nod to its name. This a is new establishment, and has been open for 3 months now. On a Saturday afternoon, they were pretty booked with all technicians hard at work. Nonetheless, I didn't feel rushed nor did I have to wait too long. Chi has great communication skills, she makes sure to tell you when she has to tend to something before walking off, which is appreciated! She is professional, passionate, and detailed in her work. While I had a simple mani done by her, her expertise appears to be in nail art, so I'm going to definitely get that service next time. Extremely satisfied with my experience. I came in for French tip acrylics and a color change on my toes. My toes were super quick but not rushed. I've been getting my nails done here for about a year and it's the only place I've ever felt comfortable and that I can trust. Everyone there is very professional and welcoming and you can tell they prioritize their clients needs. They never force or even mention a tip and they are reasonably priced for the amazing job they do. Chi can literally do anything and is very gentle. This will forever be my go to place to get my nails done read more

I have been coming here for about a year now and I am truly satisfied with my set every single time. I get so many compliments on my nails and everyone who I have recommended to come here also leave happy with their nails. My nails always look great, and Chi always does EXACTLY what I ask for. She brings all my nail desires to life. I have not gone anywhere else ever since I started coming here and it's the only nail place I recommend to everyone. The quality of the work done here is great! My nails never break and they truly last me a long time. Despite arriving on time, I waited approximately 30 minutes before being seen and ended up being late to my next appointment. What was especially frustrating was the explanation I received. While waiting, I overheard staff discussing that the schedule should have been arranged differently and that more time should have been allocated for a previous client. Later, I was told the delay was due to other customers arriving late and that appointment times cannot be guaranteed. Respectfully, how the salon manages its schedule should not become the customer's responsibility. If significant delays are expected, customers should be informed in advance. I have been to this salon before for both my nails and toes and had a positive experience, which is why I decided to return. Unfortunately, this visit was very different. The issue was never the price. I don't mind paying for quality work. I understand that nail removal is a service that should be paid for, and I have no issue paying for professional removal. However, I was told the removal cost more because it takes longer and is done more carefully. After the service, my natural nails were left with visible roughness, uneven surfaces, and divots. The manager told me that the damage could not be smoothed out, which left me questioning why more of the product was not soaked off rather than continuing to file the nail. If the end result is visible roughness, divots, and damage to my natural nails, it is difficult to understand the value of paying a premium for the service. If my nails were going to be left in this condition, I could have removed the product myself at home without paying for professional removal. What was most frustrating was feeling dismissed when I raised my concerns. The service was only discounted after I spoke up. Had I not said anything, I would have paid full price for a service that left my nails in this condition. I have attached photos of my nails before and after removal so others can see the difference for themselves. I am leaving this review because customers deserve clear communication, respect for their time, and services that match what is being promised. Unfortunately, this experience fell short in all of those areas.

She was gentle, patient, and clearly takes pride in her work. The salon itself was clean, relaxing, and had a welcoming vibe from the moment I walked in. The staff were all friendly and professional, which made the whole experience even better. I didn't feel rushed at all, and the quality of the work really shows. My nails turned out exactly how I wanted; if not better! I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend asking for Annie if you visit.

I had the best experience at Fabulous Nails! Ly, the owner, did my nails and she was absolutely amazing. I got Gel-X with cat eye and custom design, and she made them look perfect! Every detail was flawless, and the design turned out even better than I imagined. Ly was so patient, gentle, and really made sure I was happy every step of the way. The salon is clean, relaxing, and welcoming. I left feeling so happy and pampered. My nails are stunning and I've already gotten so many compliments!
