Late review but it was good microdermabrasion by a sweet lady back in February. The star off has nothing to do with the lady. She was 5 stars. But since I bought this on Groupon and the date of the deal had passed, they charged me another $25 or so for the service that was supposed to be 3 microdermabrasions for $99. I ended up paying about $125 for one. So 3 stars to the business itself and 5 to the lady, I'd average in 4 stars. I never went back, and honestly not missing it. There are other places that honor what they sell. Or do better deals. But if you are thinking of booking it, not a bad place. Just a bit overpriced for circle C. The staff is fantastic! Incredibly informative and patient with any and all questions. Had a facial with Laney today and she was so great. Ensured I was comfortable at every phase, shared great tips and information with me for my skin and really loves her job and what she's doing and learning. The atmosphere is so relaxing, as well; rooms aren't too dim and music is at the perfect volume. While I'm not a very girly spa person, this is a place I can see myself returning to and feeling very comfortable with again and again. I don't go to wellness care often, but I do go get massages occasionally. All I can say is this place has THE BEST service! The treatment focus on face. When I first walked in, the front desk greeted me with my name and asked me if I wanted anything to drinks. They have complimentary mimosas and water for you. She also politely asked if the temperature was okay. That was amazing! Later on, Nancy came out and greeted me with a sincere hand shake. Provided me privacy to change, explained to me what to expect for the next hour and talk me through things. I did not feel awkward or uncomfortable for even a bit. The treatment was great. I could already felt the difference once It was over! I will definitely come back again and be treated like a princess. Haha. read more

WOW! If I had to describe this place in one word, it would be HEAVENLY. I was very impressed with Face to Face Spa. From the moment I walked in, I was treated like a princess. I'm glad someone finally got the memo. They offered me a choice of a few fabulous drinks right away. The spa is very elegant and a lot fancier than what I expected in a strip mall. There is plenty of comfortable, plush seating while you fill out quick paperwork. The environment is calming, yet also trendy and sophisticated. I was brought back as soon as I handed in my paperwork. Laney was very kind, knowledgable and friendly. She asked me if I would rather her explain each step or not. I thought this was nice since sometimes, especially after you've gotten a facial from the same place more than once, it's a bit overkill. I opted for the explanations because I am curious and had never been to this spa before. All of the treatments felt amazing. The extractions were pain free, which is very different than what I have experienced elsewhere. The arm, neck and head massage was incredible too. Laney gave me some great insight into my skin care as she pampered me. I am breastfeeding my one year old and recovering from hip surgery. So hormones and inflammation are causing some trouble for my skin. She explained why this is happening and how to fix it. The great thing was she didn't aggressively sell products, which is usually my least favorite thing about a facial. Instead she gave me general tips about what ingredients to look for and avoid. I finished my treatment feeling pampered and relaxed. My face was glowing. I will definitely be back. read more

I desperately needed a facial after weeks of traveling and my skin being off routine. I decided on Face to Face because it is close to my house and had decent reviews. I LOVE the space and the front desk staff! However, I had a very subpar facial and my skin did not look any different and then I ended up breaking out for a week afterwards. I'm not sure if it was the techniques of my aesthetician or the products but it was a big waste of $150+. I'd probably give them another shot but book with someone else for my facial. The front desk was so friendly and they have lots of amazing membership programs to save you lots of $$. I just need to get a facial that actually works for my skin. read more

I grew up as an outdoorsy tomboy type, and frankly, never paid much attention to protecting my skin. So that's all backfiring now, especially living under the sun in Texas. So I've been checking out the world of facials, in between my less-fun visits to the dermatologist. This spa provided probably the best facial I've had so far in Austin. My esthetician, Karly, served up multiple layers of treatment, which felt like a leisurely multi-course meal without the calories. She said they're a medical spa, but it was hard not to feel pampered and relaxed in that posh, comfortable treatment room. Between Karly's attentive expertise, and the French theater decor and classic show tunes on the sound system, I felt like I was being prepped for a lead role onstage, not just returning to my hot car on a Texas summer afternoon. The premium facial is just one of their facial offerings; they offer 5 different types, including one specifically for men and one for teens. They also offer a plethora of chemical peels, eyelash extensions, makeup, and skin care products. And services involving needles. I'm just not on board with a needle regimen yet, though I know lots of women who are. My face looked so refreshed after my premium facial that I was actually shocked, because it's only been a little over a month since my last facial elsewhere, and I never look that good afterward. They have special powers here, and I didn't even order anything extra. I've been scouting out South Austin lately and am really looking forward to trying this spa again. It's obviously superior to the place I tried out up north. The only bummer is that they have a membership you'll need to join for monthly facials if you want to take advantage of their reduced pricing (about $30 per facial less). Monthly facials can get pricey, even for girly girls who love pampering their skin. read more

Andrea provided the most relaxing facial treatment I've ever received. Jordan did customer service excellence right. To boot, the ambiance and elegance of the reception area, the complimentary champagne I received when checking in, and soothing and yummy smells of the treatment I received make five stars a natural choice for this business. I've had about a dozen facial treatments as an adult, the majority here in Austin (Lake Austin Spa and Resort, Salon O, Three Graces, Viva), and this was beyond the best. The scents were fantastic - cucumbers, florals, mint - and were timed to give natural beginning and ending points to the different aspects of the treatment, almost like themes to a book or an olfactory score to a movie. Andrea's pressure was great, and she checked in multiple times to make sure I was comfortable. Also, the table's blanket was fuzzy, warm and soft. It was like the plush robes posh hotels offer. Five stars all the way. If you live in Circle C or work near south Austin, check this place out. A word about the customer service - when I called to schedule an appointment, Jordan returned my call within 30 minutes and was able to get me in the next day. Then this morning, after yesterday's treatment, Jordan called me to check in, to make sure that my skin was doing well (I have sensitive skin, which I'd discussed with Andrea). I thought this kind of follow up went well above and beyond. That, along with how pretty the interior of the space is, and how pretty the treatment made me feel (and let's be honest, y'all, everyone feels prettier with champagne), make Face to Face a highly recommended spa. read more

Really friendly & professional receptionist. Scheduling was a breeze when I called-- and they email you a reminder of your appointment which is always nice! Bathroom was clean & modern. My aesthetician was Laney & she was excellent. She asked all the right questions at the right times: example- would you like me to explain each step or would you rather me not so that you can relax? (seriously the best question because sometimes I really do just want to sit and sleep... but this time, I wanted to know what each step was in the premium facial) Time flew by with my facial: with multiple steps for cleaning, exfoliating, steam, massage, extracting, and finished with a serum.
