A maternity one and a regular Swedish massage. My friend goes in right before the appointment time. Perfect! My turn is coming right? Someone calls my name. Oops. She meant Catherine. Not Caroline. Idk that mistake happens often. I know because I have a sister whose name is Catherine. So I sit down. 20 minutes after my appointment time, the manager comes in and tells me the therapist didn't show up and they're fully committed today. (No wonder they confirmed the appointment a million times) she basically said "you ain't getting your massage today" but, nicer, wayyy nicer lol Am I annoyed? 100% Am I irritated? Totally I text my husband who is the rational one in the relationship and he said "give them some grace, it's not their fault someone didn't show up to work." He is right. They totally made up for it. I did the halotherapy which is this salt treatment thing and we got 2 pedicures. She even ended up comping my friends massage. The whole thing was comped. 4/5 - Great First Experience With One Important Concern…read more This was my first time visiting Spa Castle, and I'm happy to say they did not disappoint. There are multiple pools and saunas, each with different temperatures and benefits to explore. Whether you want to detox, relax, or simply enjoy the water, there's plenty to choose from. You can also book add-on services like massages or scrubs for a more personalized experience. There are plenty of areas to relax, both indoors and outdoors, and while children are allowed, we thankfully didn't have many around us during our visit, so it still felt peaceful and serene. The locker room and bathhouse areas are fully nude, which is something I chose not to experience due to personal preference. However, one thing I did feel strongly about as a parent of girls was the fact that children are also allowed to walk around nude in these areas. While I understand this is part of the cultural setup for some spas, I believe Spa Castle should consider a policy that prohibits nudity for minors. Unfortunately, pedophiles don't have a "look," and some parents can be completely unaware of their surroundings. For the sake of child safety, I'd strongly recommend the spa reevaluate this policy and put something in place to protect the kids. Aside from that, I had a great experience overall and can't wait to return to see what the upcoming renovations look like. This place has a ton of potential and offers a unique, refreshing escape from the day-to-day.
