To each their own, but I personally did not find shopping at these kinds of stores enjoyable, based on the high-pressure sales environment, and knowing that inevitably, we would be making a very wealthy person even wealthier. It crossed our minds to check out some consignment stores, and saw that Tara had really great reviews. We reached out, and she was very prompt and professional in responding. During our appointment, I liked Tara right away: she was down to earth, personable, and trustworthy. Prior to the appointment, I had shared one photo with her of a ring I liked. The first ring she presented me with was the one I fell in love with (see pic attached). And, as luck had it, it fit perfectly! She showed me a few other options just to see if any others stuck, but I felt a connection with the first one. We slept on it a few nights but decided it was the one. When it came time to purchase the ring, the price she offered us was drastically less than what it appraised for. Also, I loved the concept of giving this ring another life. Just because it previously sat on someone else's finger, doesn't make it any less special. On the contrary, I appreciate it even more. In summary: when shopping for a ring, don't forget to visit Tara, or stores like Tara's. Not only is the customer service superior, but she is someone you will want to come back to in the future.

I had a 7" enamel/brass/ gold-filled bracelet at $16 an inch and added a $35 charm coming out to $147 before tax, card fee and gratuity. She did disclose the price while I was in the chair and I got serious sticker shock but it felt awkward for me to cancel on the spot. That's on me for not asking prior but a list of prices somewhere...online, IG or a placard in store for convenience would be appreciated. I also take a while to decide on things so choosing a chain and charm took a few minutes but there were some walk-in's that were posted up in front of the displays which delayed that, despite my communication to squeeze in and take a look. I was worried I'd cut into the appointment time (not certain how long an appointment is set up for), so for those who are indecisive maybe carve out some time prior. I had an appointment at open (10AM) which was delayed due to business operations on Hailey's end which she communicated to me and was fine, but again wish I had some isolated time to shop around. Lastly, there's an undisclosed 3% processing fee. Transparency is appreciated as a client. Overall, love my bracelet but this studio is definitely priced very high if you're comparing so, if budget isn't a concern, this place is for you. EDIT: While I can appreciate the business owner's response in defense, I posted my experience, not the business owner's perception of my experience. You could say that the sky is green...it's still blue. At this point I'm actually questioning the materials of the bracelet since it seems you have to market brass and enamel as 'ethical'. As of this date, there are literally no prices anywhere. Review knocked down from 3 stars to one for the business owner's inability to acknowledge polite and constructive criticism to aid in improving their business and for blatantly lying on a customer to make their business look better. I should have done some research and given merit to all the one star review's on Google and the notable ones on Yelp and Google's AI overview of the business all describing the same theme with the same general aggressively defensive response. I'd take off the bracelet so I wouldn't be reminded of this negative experience but it'd be an insult to wasted money.

I told him I had 4 Nixon watches that needed the battery replaced and also re-pressurized, as I take all my nixons with me when wakeboarding and swimming. He told me not a problem, and quoted me $15 per battery replacement. He got all 4 watches done in less than 25 minutes. Super pleasant guy, clean store, and so I highly recommend! Can't beat excellent customer service and supporting a local shop.

Since I only had one ring to have inspected I was able to come in, sit with him for a half an hour while he worked and leave with it the same day. He gave me some great information about what to look for in future purchases which gave me peace of mind. The building he is in has a garage on that same street and the parking was only $6 an hour when I went in November 2023. I'm not somebody that likes driving in cities, but he wasn't far from the freeway, the garage made parking easy and he was worth the drive. Great value! It is worth every penny to find somebody you trust to handle such things. I highly recommend him and know where to go with any future needs.
