NEVER AGAIN!…read more I went back because they advertised a great deal for senior citizens of $25 month and a FREE phone. I asked Tiffany three times if she was sure the phone was free because I didn't need a new phone, and she answered yes each time. So I had the pleasure of paying $25 the first month I had the service, then the bills kept going up every month. I would go in and ask why the bill went up and received a different answer every time from a different person. Then I get a bill for over $200 for the free phone. The East Peoria location where I in started the service was of no help. Then I went out to the North Peoria location and was given a different song and dance. I finally cleared the phone to remove everything and hand delivered it the manager at that location, but I was so angry by then I did not ask for a receipt for the phone! I received a collection notice a couple of months ago, and ignored it. Today I received another letter and called the collection company and everyone spoke Spanish and I get told they investigated with Xfinity and they will be adding this collection to my credit report! DO NOT USE XFINITY. They are liars and crooks! Starting with the liars you meet with and ask directly if the offer they are broadcasting is true for senior citizens and the Republican tells you yes three times. This is the fourth time I have been stupid enough to believe their bullshit! I received a notice from them this week saying "we miss you and have yet another special deal! No way am I ever again going to fall for their nonsense! They need to be shut down and never allowed to sell in America again. Trust me, they are NOT what they say! Pathetic losers that unsuspecting victims will learn in a very short time. So, I am having a hit to my credit report for a phone I returned to the North Peoria location! I've had this service for 5 years. Not because I wanted to but because they keep telling me I have…read moreto stay stay with them or they are penalties. The first 2 years was decent. Then I asked for an addition outdoor camera. I was told they no longer provide wired cameras and I had to upgrade to the Google nest wireless outdoor cameras if I wanted an additional camera. They told me they were better and they ONLY needed to be charged every 9 months to 1 year. I signed a financial agreement for the equipment ONLY. I did NOT sign another service agreement or so I thought. I quickly realized these cameras have to be charged every 2 1/2 - 3 months NOT 9 months to a year. I told ADT I wanted my wired cameras back and they could take back these ones. They refused. Then we started having issues with the wall panel malfunctioning. We requested they fix it but they stated it would cost an additional hundreds of dollars to fix their equipment thats under warranty. I requested to cancel service numerous times and they said I had to pay off the equipment first. Then this past February the alarm system kept going off to the point the police were about to come out. We kept calling ADT technical support and was on the phone forever multiple times. The last time the technician finally told us to remove the internal batteries from the wall panel to shut the system down. So we did. We asked them to come out AGAIN to fix the equipment. They once again told us it would cost hundreds of dollars to come out. We have been without service and forced to pay a monthly bill since February. I called them this month and demanded they send someone's out. I paid off the equipment early. They said they would waive the service fee. The technician got their and said, the service fee is waived but my labor isn't and all parts are going to be charged as well. He said it will probably cost around $400 to $500. I told him to leave. I called and demanded my service be canceled and for them never to contact me again. Then they send me a $1400.00 bill. Now let me tell you, I've NEVER been late ONCE on my bill and ALWAYS paid more than the bill amount. I paid off my equipment early as well. They breached the contract by NOT providing operational equipment and NOT providing service. They scammed me into buying a product by misrepresent it. I've reported them to the BBB. They dont even own or operate their own cameras. You can buy a Google camera on Amazon amd get the app for FREE. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I would like to request a technician to inspect and , if it was faulty (or it was intentionally set to a non-functional state by their staff) from the start. They said in the email that they would resolve the issue within three business days, but it's already been a full week and I still haven't been able to get in touch with them. Also, I've had at least three separate incidents where a visitor came to my home, and their monitoring system failed to record any footage at all. (The latest one: on May 23, 2025, Friday, at around 5:00 to 5:30pm CDT, my agent visited my house and was standing directly under the security camera, yet whatsoever. This raises serious concerns about the reliability of the equipment). Fortunately, I have independent video evidence from my phone confirming their presence. Given that the system did not captured any of these events, despite being active and armed, I believe this constitutes a serious failure in service and may reflect negligence.
