Deceptive website description of delivery times caused great inconvenience. I placed an order on March 8 with a delivery date of March 13. I received no mention of any delay. When I checked the order status it displayed that it was not yet fulfilled. I contacted their customer service who stated it was not yet shipped and once it is shipped it will be 4-5 business days. This order was needed to complete an important repair and will result is a one week delay on my end. Their customer service could have simply overnight delivered the package but chose instead to save a few dollars and cause damage to their customer. I recently purchased a Duromax XP15000HXT. It came as promised. I connected a small propaned tank and it started on the 2nd try. After it ran for about 2 hours it began to surge. That was becaused it was cold outside and the propane tank had frozen up. I shut it down and moved it back inside. 3 days later I had decided to finish the break-in period with gasoline until I got larger propane tanks. It tried to start but, immediately stopped. I tried this several times with no luck. I then reconnected the propane tank which naturally had thawed out by then. Same results, it would try to start but, immediately "stumble" and stop and the battery was getting low. I connected a charger to the battery and then I called Duromax service and left a message for them to call me back. While waiting about 20 minutes I decided to go and try it again. Immediately it started and ran on the propane. Then I switched it over to gasoline, waited a few minutes and then I tried again and it immediately started and ran on the gasoline. About 2 hours later I got a call from a representative. After I explained it all he told me that when I change fuels it may take a little time for the electronics to change over. Perhaps I over reacted a little at first but, we have a large Winter storm approaching and most likely we will lose power. Anyway, bottom line is I think it should be put in the instructions or some kind of notice that when the unit is switched from gasoline to propane it may take a little time for the electronics to switch over. However, I am very pleased they returned my call so suddenly. read more

This guy knows his stuff, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He took my order, found what I needed and made sure to put it aside for me to pick up within the hour. When I got there i was so impressed with the show room and the friendly staff. I ordered a few other Accesories and left there with really good items at a competitive price. I ordered two DeWalt DWHT83186 24" Extra Large Trigger Clamps and got a different looking version than what was shown in the picture on the Factory Authorized Outlet site. Had bought two DeWalt 24" extra large clamps a couple years ago at Home Depot and they were great. Lost one, so ordered replacements, and was specifically looking for the same version. 2+ month order nightmare. Item was good price and exactly what I was looking for (120v large tank compressor) so I bought. Delivery took awhile which may have been because of COVID-19, not really sure. After arrival, while trying to hook it up, I realized that they had sent the wrong compressor/motor. I specifically needed the 120v model and they sent me a 220v model. I went back and forth with them over email for quite some time (they tried to tell me that I could run a 220v motor on a 120v circuit, it would just run slower) and they finally agreed to exchange the compressor for the proper one. After 2+ months of dealing with this massive headache I finally received the new compressor and all is good. They don't update their website, so you won't know if a stock item is really there until you purchase it. They probably drop ship most everything from the manufactures so they don't need to carry it. Ordered a heater through Ebay. First they said I would receive the heater in 12 days so after 15 days I start looking where my order is and they claim that I received it in 3 days by FedEx. They sent no notification or tracking number until I asked for it. FedEx claimed they delivered it but I was home all day and have security cameras at my house and no delivery was made. FedEx would not investigate because they have an agreement with Factory Authorized Outlet and only they can start a claim and they would not put a claim in because FedEx claimed they delivered it. I bought a Duromax generator from this company on Ebay for a very good price. It was shipped quickly. I followed the instructions and trouble shooting but could not get it to start or even turn over. The instructions were incomplete and not clear. I emailed the company on Ebay. In 2-3 days someone replied with an irrelevant email that was not helpful. The person did not even know that this is a duel fuel (gas/LP) generator. I went online and found a Duromax customer service phone #. The operator was nice but told me the techs were really busy and would call me back in a day or 2. The next afternoon Brian called and was very helpful. It turned out that the battery was not connected when it was shipped. The directions did not show this. After I hooked up the battery and got it started and running, Robert called and offered assistance. I am very happy with their help and customer service. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I wanted to surprise my better half with a really awesome dual tap kegerator and found myself after looking at many products, on this sites page. As many other people have mentioned, I wish I would have read reviews on this company first but sadly I did not. I ordered my kegerator and patiently waited for it to arrive. I was told a company would be in touch with me for delivery. This was good because our home is gated and I would need to be there when they dropped it off. Much to my surprise, I came home one day from work to find a big box sitting at my gate, blocking me from driving in and soaking wet. I was NOT HAPPY. Due to the fact my better half was out of town and I was clearly not strong enough to carry this to the house, I had to get a hold of a friend to come over and help me out. I was FURIOUS! Not only was I not contacted about delivery, it was delivered a day late, it was left in the rain, and the box was damaged. A few days later we went to take it out of the box to set it up. Not to my surprise, they sent us the wrong instructions. After looking it up online, I found the correct one for the product. Started to put it together when we realized..... IT WAS MISSING PARTS!!! Are you kidding me?!?! Beyond furious at this point, figure it can't get much worse. BUT I was wrong. The entire bottom of the fridge was so badly dented, it wouldn't sit flat on the floor and the one side was badly scratched and damaged. I contacted the company (which was not easy) and asked for an exchange. After many hours of going back and forth and being treated so incredibly rude, I simply decided it would be best to just get my money back. The man I spoke with (ROBERT) told me that they would refund my money but that would need to send them a picture of the cord on the back of the fridge cut first. I asked why I would need to do that if it was being sent back. He said they had no intentions of picking up the product and the reason they wanted a picture was so I could should the fridge was rendered useless. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! So now, not only do I have a damaged product that is not something I could use, I now have to take a stupid picture and send it in, AND pay a dump fee to get rid of it!?!?! I should have checked Yelp before I did business with Maxtool. Maxtool is just fine until you have to return something. Then you get hit with a 20% "restocking fee". 20% adds up quick and it's just a sleazy way to squeeze the last dollar out of you. I don't think it's worth the risk. Especially when there are 20 or 30 other companies on the internet that have a more customer friendly return policy. I ordered a Milwaukee heated sweatshirt with red lithium battery ($149) and an additional red lithium battery ($49). Placed my order on 12/13/17. Received an email on 12/14 stating my order was back ordered. I sent an email on 12/15 and was told by Rosie that my order was shipping on 12/15. I received only the additional battery. I called on 12/21 was told told by Sinatra that the back order was shipping on 12/22. I called on 12/26 and was told by Fred my back order was shipping on 12/26. I called on 12/27 and was told by Shawn that the back ordered is now not available until next season. I was then transferred to Jose, Customer Service Manager, and I requested a pre-paid return label for the additional battery that was now no good without the sweatshirt. I did receive the pre-paid return label. I then called back on 12/29 and spoke to Jose again to find out why my credit card was charged the full amount of $198 when only the $49 battery was shipped and received. He said that just the way their system works. I was lied to each time I called regarding status on the sweatshirt. How dare they charge my credit card $149 for an item that was never going to ship.
