All I have to say is lard bread! I've loved lard bread since I was a kid. But to have the lard bread in the shape of a bagel is perfect for on the go. Very excited to try their sandwich but it was a bit disappointing. I went with their famous Italian special. It was verrrryyyyyy skimpy on the meats. Maybe a tiny thin layer of prosciutto & soppresatta- I would say no more than 3 thin slices per meat for the entire hero. The guy told me he wouldn't be able to toast the bread as well. I also picked up a couple of their prosciutto balls which were amazing. They have the best prosciutto balls EVER but I will never be getting a sandwich from them again. I've had much better Italian sandwiches from other places in Brooklyn. Their fresh meats such as their homemade sausage does look fantastic though. I'll be sure to try those next time. read more

There is no place on this earth that remotely compares to Faicco's Pork Store. Not in the Bronx Little Section, Not in the best of Queens, Nowhere in Staten Island, Rockland & Westchester Counties. Faicco's is number one. Always has been. If I am going to go out of my way to get the best - it is worth the extra time to pay a visit to Faicco's in Brooklyn, bring the large cooler with ice, fill up, and pack my freezer for a good portion of our summer needs. Maybe they used to be good at one time, or you have to know someone, and be a regular customer, but the food that we got was not fresh and the service was terrible. Very very pricey, we could have went out to a restaurant. I guess the owners have big debts to pay for their families. read more

I am the pickiest person when it comes to meat and I would shop no where else for meat, sausage, etc. I won't even eat sausage at any get togethers that I am invited to if I know that it's not from Faicco's......and that is 100 percent true!!! They have the best mozzarella, rice balls........let's just put it this way, there is not one thing that I bought that was not delicious. When I buy rice balls I have to buy extra because they never make the short car ride home.............absolutely DELICIOUS and worth every penny. read more

Amazing place! You'll find the friendliest people here and some memorable sandwiches! Me and my bf was yelping nearby places where we can get a cold cut sandwich for our picnic, and this little gem pops up. Going in there, I was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of people in there. Also I wasn't sure how to order but the friendly customers in there helped me out. They even gave me great suggestions on what to order as it was my first time. All those customers are regulars, one guy even told me he been coming here since he was a little boy. That tells you a lot about this place. When it was my turn, I was greeted by a friendly employee. I ordered the prosciutto with mozzarella, lettuce, and tomatoes on a baguette, and olive oil and balsamic over it. This was a recommendation from one of the customers, and they certainly knew what they were talking about. It was loaded with flavors, picture doesn't do its justice. So nice to find such an amazing sandwich shop in Brooklyn, service is over the top. Can't wait to go back! read more

I don't know where to start and that's a good thing. Fiacco's has been a part of me my entire life and for good reason. Every since I was little my family has been buying food here. There fresh mozzarella is probably the greatest on earth I dare you to find one better. The workers themselves have become close personal friends. To this day I still make it priority to go with my mother to get cold cuts for Saturday, and meat for the sauce on Sunday. Everything there is fresh the store is very clean but has always been crowded. They host a wide variety of imported goods including the best prosciutto di parma money can buy. My family have tried other pork stores when there closed on vacation and they cannot hold a candle to Fiacco's excellence. You would be doing yourself a disservice by not going to them. read more

Had the roast pork broccoli mozzarella special. Huge sandwich. Pork a bit dry but the broccoli rabe was perfect. Bread garlicky and toasted perfectly. Service nice. Well priced. Had house made sausage - pretty lean and flavorful. Prosciutto rice ball wasn't heated through enough, needed more flavor. Will definitely go back to try all the sandwiches. read more

Everything they say is true, but after 30 years of buying this week we were disappointed in the lemon chicken entree we having been buying for years not only did the $price go up +++ $7.00+but there was only 3 small pieces in it not enough to feed 2 people. 12/8/13 Raffy Conti I Have been in living in Midwood for four years and thanks to Google I found the finest pork store ever I had picked the Genoa Salami the tastiest Broccoli Rabe sausage I The workers are nice and very knowledgeable and the Genoa Salami is more thin then the person writing this review and I have lived in Midwood for four years and I learned about this place thanks to Goggle and doing my research. It's too bad that Making sausages is not an Olympic sport because if was they would have more gold medals then Michael Phelps I Have never seen anything like it.
