Roddy is the GOAT!! Went in here based on a recommendation from a friend and I was not disappointed. Roddy was thorough when confirming with me what look I wanted, goals for my hair, etc Bro masterfully cut my hair exactly how I envisioned it (when my past barbers failed). I'm really hesitant about what barbershop I take my kids to because the stigma of neighborhood barbershop environments is true, most of the time. Faint Blends is an exception to the rule! I've taken my son here numerous times and there's never explicit music playing, never inappropriate conversations (around kids), always sports on TV, and everyone is super polite. The actual cutting skills are top-notch. My son has gotten some really trendy haircuts from Danny and Christian (Flaco Fresco) and they're always on point. From mid fades, tapers, burst fades, line ups and crazy designs - they can do it all. Thanks Danny and Christian for always keeping my son fresh and always bringing chill vibes. read more

Found this place not to far from my acupuncture clinic and thankfully it was not too far away from my place. Took my kid yesterday and we walked in without an appointment. The wait was about 10-15 minutes, not too bad for a weekday late afternoon (5pm-ish). Our barber, Leo, did a fantastic job and we couldn't be happier. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the area. read more

Had a great experience with Jean for both my boys. My youngest is black and Jean perfectly cleaned up his hair and gave him perfect high top fade. Great lines. My oldest has long curls and he gave him a d nice trim. Jean is a talented barber for sure. read more

This was the first time we'd been to this place, and it will be the last! My son was so excited to arrive on time for him haircut. We showed to the barber the picture of the haircut my son wanted four times. You know what it's like to grow your hair out with the hope of getting the same haircut as your favorite soccer player? When the barber finished, my husband asked him to trim a little more off the top. When they got home, I looked at my son and asked why they hadn't cut the hair on top? We paid for a service that wasn't done properly. Now we'll have to go somewhere else to get my son's haircut fixed. I do not recommend this place!. ‍ read more

That's the difference about legit barbershop and places like this. I moved to southern Orange County a couple years ago and I've been to around 15 different barbershops. Anthony at Faint Blends Barbershop is the best barber I've come across. He is super detail oriented, friendly, and talented. It's a great shop and there are other highly skilled barbers there as well (Chris is also really good). I'm usually super busy and so being able to book appointments online a couple weeks in advance really appeals to my lifestyle and makes this my favorite barbershop. read more

Called and asked if there was an availability and they said yes. I asked to lock me in 25-30 min drive and they said yeah you're good come on in. I came here from a shop that charged $65+ for cuts. They had top notch quality but the cost was too high for me to justify in my current state of life. That's when Faint Blends came into mind. Had some friends in Brea (The Compound Barbershop) that recommended this spot. Off the bat, super clean/trendy spot. Each Barber gets their own chair and the one closest to the door runs and manages it, so you get a warm greeting each time you walk in. I had an appointment with Anthony and wasn't initially sure how it was going to go due to it just being a new experience for me. Sitting down, Anthony took the time to get to know my stye, asking questions and clarifying the type of cut I envisioned. He told me what would look good and gave me his input. I've gone to him a few times since and each time, he's remembered the things I told him and all in all is a great conversationalist. He's made me feel comfortable and ultimately, I've walked away each time floored with how well my haircuts turn out. The rates at the shop are standard, and although they did raise by $5 a few months ago, they are more than worth it. I think the only thing I have to mention, which is a good problem is the fact that Anthony gets booked up pretty easily, so be sure to book fast! read more

I moved to Lake forest in 2022, and struggled to find a good spot for a cut. I finally tried Faint Blends barbershop and booked an appointment with Anthony randomly, I have to say after my first cut from him I felt like the looking for a spot was over. From him cutting my hair the first time to today, I have been completely happy with every cut he gives me. He is a great barber, hands down he has given me the best haircuts every time. I've been going to Kevin @ripcitybarber for many years since I was a teenager to til this day. Very easy going, energetic, pays close attention to detail of the goal on how you style your look or hairstyle that you want. Faint Blends Barbershop is a vibe being in there all the other barbers are very friendly, laid back, hardworking crew that all do outstanding jobs with their work. I've been going to Kevin at Faint Blends since 2015, starting at his previous shop and following as he moved to Faint Blends. I've never gotten a bad haircut in all those years. Kevin is fast, friendly, and exceptionally skilled. While I'm in the chair, I'm always watching the other cuts going on, and I've seen nothing but great work. The shop is spotlessly clean, there's always a game on the TV, and there's plenty of parking. I definitely recommend Kevin or anyone at Faint Blends. read more

I've been getting my hair cut by Kevin for over 8 years. He's a great barber, which is why I only go to him. He's great with conversation and in any scenario I've seen him in. This hair cut was done at another shop but worked well and he wanted the same. All, I repeat all, we needed was a tiny bit off the top and trim up the sides and back. Our barber was KEVIN and we gave him SIX color photos printed out and left at his station of what the cut looks like. I look down then look at my son and he is bald on the sides and the back. The front is long and slicked back like a greaser. Pompadour style. Soooo not what was in the pics and definitely what we asked for. At that point I lost my cool and went to ask what the heck was up? My teen son had tears in his eyes. I showed him the pics and told him what we wanted. The guy said he would fix it. KEVIN BLEW IT! He literally cut the entire top and gave him the Dumb & Dumber! No joke. This is a nightmare my son said while hiding his tears. I payed Kevin and told him that that is the worst cut we have ever got. Two other barbers were watching as I bailed. After I arrived home I got even more upset and called the shop. Gene answered. He said he was one of two owners. He felt terrible and had seen the horrific cut happen. He begged us to come back (we don't live super close) and have him make it right. I agreed. Gene did a good job cleaning up the disaster. He also made KEVIN give me my $$$ back. My son now has a comb-over with a hard part which he did NOT want. But, at least it is an actual style. He is bummed but at least he isn't sporting the Dumb & Dumber. Good grief. Kevin really jacked up my boy and his summer hair. It will take 3-4 months to get to where we were. For a kid that is a looooooong time. Now I am appreciative of what the owner Gene but please learn from our mistake and DO NOT GO TO KEVIN. Repeat - NO KEVIN!!!!!

Then, when she got to my son she took her time and did it right!! She was so professional, detail oriented, skilled, and as a bonus easy to talk to. Throughout the process she would check to see what exactly my son was looking for instead of assuming, and we walked out more than pleased!! At the end, she mentioned several other barbers that do good cuts as-well which showed us how supportive she was of her peers, and it also showed us she was definitely confident in her skills because she didn't put anyone down. Some people say the can do curly hair, but Ciara can actually do curly hair. High/mid fade had my son walking out of the barber shop with confidence again. The establishment was very well organized and well designed with a cohesive theme. There was ample parking in the lot and the interior was clean as well.
