So disappointed. Made my first appointment and walked out elated that I had finally after 12 years in the OC found an outstanding stylist to cut my hair. Richard was excellent, taking his time to understand the challenges of my hair that I deal with daily. The finished haircut was perfect. Then it was time for another appointment. Tried to book on line and his hours were extremely limited due to no weekends or evenings available because he had reduced his hours. Left voicemails and sent text messages and not even a courtesy return call or text message. I found it to be rude, disappointing and very poor customer service. It's so hard these days to get a quick, quality haircut with salon-style treatment at a fair price. That's why I'm convinced Richard at V's is some sort of ultra-friendly miracle barber. For many years I went without a dedicated barber or stylist. I figured my cut wasn't anymore complicated than any other men's cut, so I'd go to a cheap walk-in place by my work and be okay with the results. But when I switched jobs in 2016 I needed a different place close to my new office that I could hit on lunch breaks. On my first visit to V's I didn't have an appointment, and Richard was the barber who happened to be available to cut my hair. That was almost a year ago and I haven't let anyone else cut my hair since. He's a super chill dude -- even though I've always found small talk with barbers awkward and unnecessary, I thoroughly enjoy my conversations with Richard. He's personable and remembers the random crap I tell him each visit. Most importantly, he does fantastic work and gets the job done FAST! And when it comes to hair care he knows his stuff. With many of the same amenities and services of an absurdly overpriced salon, V's is the perfect place for a complimentary beer and quick cut at a reasonable price, and Richard is the right guy for the job!
