This used to be River Palm. The entire interior was complete renovated. We loved it! White? Bright white walls with dark accents, very big long bar. Martinis were good and they have blue cheese stuffed olives too. The staff was great, attentive but never rushed us. The Steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered and very tender. The only item I didn't care for were the stuffed zucchini flowers. They had waaay too much batter. Each steak is served with a few onion rings on the plate- the batter on some of my onion rings weren't cooked through. Side of Brussel sprouts and baked potatoes were good too, nothing special. Dessert- we had the affogato served with fig gelato, this was delicious. The gelato was full of figs. I highly recommend this is you are a fig lover. Overall, a great meal, priced on the high end as most steak houses are, but well worth it. The place was not busy at 6 but when we left at 8 it was full. This was our first visit here since it turned into RP Prime. We were not disappointed. We decided on the Wednesday Lobster Night special and it was a gem. We added some appetizers -- an amazingly good spicy tuna roll and crab cakes. The soup lobster bisque was rich and full of lobster. Next came some delicious lobster ravioli bathed in a creamy sauce with a background of meyer lemon. For main we chose the lobster broiled, stuffed with crab and a side of mashed potatoes . It was all very delicious. The dining room has a very comfortable vibe and the dining service is stellar. Our server was extremely attentive, not over bearing and the pace was perfect. All in all a memorable experience that requires a return to dine on steak. read more

Went the day before Valentine's Day with family. All Food and Drink were excellent. All pictures I took each person finished their meals, they were that good. Each of us had a dessert and again all was finished. I had a chocolate martini that was the best I've ever had. Service was excellent, very pleasant and very attentive. Ambience is upscale with a beautiful bar (expensive drinks). Would go back again for a special occasion or to sit at the bar and just have a nice drink and enjoy the atmosphere. read more

Go here for fresh calamari with red sauce! I'm so sick of average basic fried calamari and don't even order it anymore. However, was here with a group and they ordered a bunch of apps including this calamari and I had one and was pleasantly surprised. It honestly might be the best basic calamari I had in 10/15 years. Had the truffle ravioli which were good. The wait and bar service was great but it was a little awkward walking in. The two people at the front desk didn't acknowledge our presence for a good 5 minutes. The ambiance was very nice inside with large arched windows looking out. I bet it's nice to come when the weathers better! I will happily go back again. But I'll skip the lychee martini. The burrata was fresh and delish too. read more

Back for the second time. The first time was impressive. I had the braised beef the first time which was excellent and the second time, tuna with golden n red beets. Here is the kicker, i don't like beets. However it was fantastic golden beets went extremely well with the Tuna. My wife went for the filet both times and enjoyed it. I want to first give a SHOUTOUT to the Maitre d who is great and knows his wine. Another one of the best waiters i ever had is a man called Rich. The man knows the menu inside and out from the appetizers dinner dessert and of course, wine. The service is fantastic. Whoever said the service in prior reviews was no good, is lost. First time dining at the Fairlawn location was a great experience, the staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The food was delicious, loved the meatball appetizer, salad and my Salmon. My husband enjoyed his filet mignon, with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. We finished the meal with cheesecake and chocolate mousse that did not disappoint. For the cost of the appetizer and the steaks you would think the food would have some wow factor! We ordered as appetizers the octopus for $29 which was maybe two 4 inch pieces. If you are going to charge that price put it in small plate. Looked ridiculous on big plate. The steaks were cooked good but had no flavor. The service was very attentive. The inside of restaurant is nice but extremely loud! We did see the manager going around only to his regular customers. If you are not a regular he not coming to your table. Never returning again. When I went outside to get my car from the valet, he told me it was in the same spot as I parked it and it wasn't. It was sandwiched between two cars. I had to pull my car up just so my family could get into my car. Also, I noticed he didn't even bother to lock my car. As I got home, I noticed a big white scuff on my mirror and I recall it was sandwiched in between a black car and a white car so the valet hit my car with another person's door because it was too tight and didn't say anything. Went for a friends birthday and everything was fabulous. We were accommodated so nicely having our entrees split up for us as we cannot eat an entire steak on our own. Excellent service! Ambiance was perfect when we arrived but a table of 8 was sat right next to us when the dining room was empty. House salad is included w/ a sprinkle of blue cheese, very refreshing if you don't feel the need to upgrade to the wedge. Was here for an event and the food was delicious. The waitstaff were very attentive and were quick to provide drinks to the table. The food was served in courses and everything was cooked to order. I have been staying at the Hyatt Hotel right next door (very ok hotel at best), and seeing the empty parking lot for this restaurant, I assumed this restaurant wouldn't be that great... but boy was I happy to be wrong!! I ordered the Short Rib with a side of Mushroom Risotto, and wow!! The most delightful, flavorful, and tender short rib I've ever had. Paired with the Lobster & Shrimp Spring Rolls and an order of Oysters, I couldn't ask for a better meal. The spring rolls felt fresh and scrumptious. Nothing felt greasy or poorly made. Although the prices were higher than I expected when I walked in, the food definitely exceeded expectations and was worth every penny. Oh! And dessert (Tiramisu and Crème Brûlée) hit just the spot with a cup of what might just be the best cup of coffee I've ever had. Honestly it tasted like a sip of dark chocolate after finishing dessert. Service was quick and friendly, and eager to help and the restaurant itself was clean and very appealing to the eye. 10/10 definitely would recommend!! Edit: I went a second time and had the Wednesday lobster special... the lobster bisque, lobster ravioli, and 1.5 lb lobster were all sublime. We originally were gonna go to another steakhouse, but they were closed for vacation, so my wife did a quick google search and we ended up at RP Prime. We loved it. The food and the service were excellent. I had the NY Shell steak, which came with a salad, and I ordered the loaded baked potato. My wife had the Prime Rib special, which for $60 included French Onion Soup, a baked potato, after dinner tea and dessert. She said it was one of the best prime ribs she ever tasted. We traded our salad and soup, so I had the soup and the wife had the salad. The soup was the only thing that was just 'ok'. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing like everything else was. But still, it was an amazing 5 star dinner and we will definitely be returning. Spoke briefly with the manager Yuri outside before leaving to let him know how happy we were with our meal.
