I just want to say that Mercedes is an absolute gem. I first consulted with them about a year ago for my gummy smile and was interested in fixing it with TADS and braces, but Dr. Jeong told me that it was impossible and that I needed surgery. Fast forward to today when I am half way through my gummy smile treatment with just that: intrusion with tads and braces implemented by a different Dr in Long Beach. I don't fault Dr. Jeong for not being familiar with this treatment as it doesn't seem to be standard practice amongst all orthodontists (although it should be) and she was very kind and courteous, as were all of the staff I interacted with... Mercedes especially. Today, my lower wire came loose and was poking me in the cheek and Mercedes very kindly squeezed me in to see me so that I didn't have to drive an hour each way to my regular Dr. She personally called my orthodontists office to speak with them and fill them in about what happened and what the best course of action was, and then she proceeded to cut the wire herself. She saved my cheek and she saved me a lot of hassle. What a sweet, wonderful human being. I really wish that Dr.s Cheung and Jeong would familiarize themselves with this gummy smile treatment so I could go to this very clean, convenient office, but until then I will be commuting. For anyone who has "regular" Orthodontic needs, I'd absolutely recommend them. Be sure to say hi to Mercedes for me. read more

Are there 100 stars - we'd give that easily! So I find these days that customer service is hard to come by. But not here. They are the example of great customer service. They welcomed us with a smile, gave a tour of the office, did X-rays, and spent a good amount of time with us discussing the best options. They didnt push any choices. When the visit was done I went up front to pay and could not believe it. They didn't charge us as it was the first complimentary visit. We didn't even get charged for the xrays. From Mercedes to Sherry, and the entire staff, I was incredibly impressed. They even have an ice cream grab and go. The entire experience made me certain we'd go nowhere else! We've had a very positive experience with Dr. Leslie Jeong, Dr. Craig Cheung and staff since we started coming here in Nov 2018! My son's teeth looks so much better now. Pretty good after just 22 weeks of treatment! After the initial evaluation and first fitting, it was touch and go! The kids just have to come back every 6 weeks now. The check in process for their routine visits is very simple. The kids would walk up to the computer and check in on their own. They have a toothbrushing station with 2 sinks and disposable toothbrushes for the kids so they can brush before their visits. Their office is always clean and neat. Dr. Leslie Jeong is very personable and easy to talk to and the staff is friendly and approachable. My younger kid is almost ready for treatment too. I just completed my Invisalign treatment with Drs. Jeong and Cheung. My entire experience was awesome. From getting the impressions (no icky goop!) to putting in the Invisalign attachments and ending with fitting me for my retainer--they explained the process and guided me through everything. The office is so clean and modern. Dr. Cheung has a lot of cool, new technology that you can tell he enjoys using. They explained the process to me and helped me refine my smile (I was bad and didn't wear my retainer from when I was a kid). Took my daughter in for a consultation. I have to say, that everyone in that office is super nice and welcoming. The office is very clean, they offer you water, tea and coffee (what! right) I really enjoyed the interaction they all had with my daughter to make her feel at ease and welcomed. Inept front desk staff. Despite the fact that I had filled out and emailed the necessary forms in advance and received confirmation via email, upon our arrival the staff could not find the forms. I was told "all incoming emails are deleted." Weird policy! Since they had attached my filled out form to their confirmation email, I suggested they check their sent email folder. They didn't know how to do that. So I forwarded the forms to the staff again while standing in front of their desk, and they still could not find them, and blamed this on me. When they finally found the forms I had emailed three times, I did not receive an apology. I definitely want to work with a medical office that can 1- open an email attachment and 2- keep track of my personal intake information! read more

Fair Oaks has the two most wonderful orthodontists I have ever been to! Their staff is kind and fun to hang around with! Prior to coming to Fair Oaks, I went around to different offices because I needed braces. Many orthodontists offered Invisalign, but said they wouldn't work for me. They even charged much more than what Fair Oaks would have charged for Invisalign. I'm glad I made the right decision for this office! Instead of getting braces for more than a year, Fair Oaks offered me Invisalign for 36 weeks. In the end, Invisalign worked out really well for me, and I am very satisfied. I started my 2 year orthodontics treatment with them after a referral from my dentist and I couldn't be happier with the results. Going through braces as an adult (Age 24-26) was a daunting prospect since I felt like I was so late in the game but the treatment I received here was painless, swift, and thoroughly enjoyable. During my visits, I noticed that Drs. Cheung and Jeong treated clients from a vast age range (primary school to adults) and ensured everyone was comfortable and well attended to. From the initial consultation, I was given a thorough analysis of my case (Class II malocclusion, severe crowding) and the many different treatment choices I could make while giving their professional advice. All of my questions and concerns were addressed and the installment plan was very flexible and attuned to my budget. Cynthia (who also handles scheduling appointments) made the payment process a breeze and not harrowing at all. She was always willing to call in and check with my insurance whenever I had concerns about coverage throughout the entire treatment process and broke down my monthly payments into a manageable size over the course of 16-18 months. Dr. Cheung & Jeong are both very hands on and attentive and their staff is extremely efficient yet gentle to ensure maximum comfort while you're in the chair. I never felt like I was waiting around or neglected and it really made a dental visit feel a bit more like a spa treatment. When it came to broken appliances, missed appointments, or emergency walk ins, I was always received without hesitation and my missed appointments rescheduled with ease. For appointments where I showed up too early, I was taken in right away and they worked with my regular cleanings whenever they came up, taking out wires before the appointment and putting them back in right after. This brand new location is outfitted with state of the art technology, a clean sleek modern interior, a comfortable waiting area with refreshments provided (mostly for the parents since as a patient, I never did much waiting). There is ample parking in the back and limited street parking in the front during posted hours. For parents, the team at Fair Oaks Orthodontics are fantastic with kids and experts at taking the scary and unpleasant aspects of orthodontic treatment out of the process. They build confidence in their patients and always reinforce their self-esteem. For adults, (who, let's face it, wouldn't wish braces on their worst enemies) the 2 year journey went by in an instant and I am ecstatic with the results.
