Been going here for a bit and also everytime the bartender we get, short guy, greasy styled looking hair, darker complexion, is super rude. He's cut me and my party off mid sentence, glared at us, said my friend was too drunk to be served right after we just walked in one time and made my friend leave, we have given this bartender no reason to be rude and he is just awful. He's rude just to be rude and has some type of power trip because hes the bartender. Just be aware of the service in this place. Been to Sports Page a few times for Volo events. This time around ordered a few garlic fries for $7.50 each. A bit on the pricier side, but not too bad. Staff is friendly here and nice spot for seating inside and outside for sports games with all their TVs! Parking can definitely be tough during peak hours. read more

Let's start with service, upon entering no one was around for a greeting then someone who works there just looked at me and kept helping others or busing tables whatever. I sit down no one approached I go back inside to ask someone in the kitchen if my food was ready to go. Furthermore, I was expecting a $8 salad $7 mozzarella sticks and $9 nachos that's about $24 right? And according to the prices on Yelp that's what my total should have been. My grand total was $46 for mediocre food and it was already getting cold the salad was drenched in dressing and the nachos were too salty. Do better. Came here for the NBA finals with some buddies. First time. Staff was nice and the place has a pretty good ambiance. The outside patio is pretty sweet with a lot of seating. There's also a sand volleyball court which was pretty cool too. I got the tuna melt which was good but pretty small. The food here is decent, and tastes good. The prices seem small but they make more sense when you see the portion sizes which are quite small. Sports Page is a sports bar in Mountain View off of Shoreline. I came here to watch the Super Bowl yesterday with a few friends, and it was crowded. Their outdoor patio space is nice, but the sound system wasn't very good. The bar was getting drinks out quickly though, so I will give them kudos for that. Prices are reasonable (standard $7-8 for a pint of beer). I could see people living in the Peninsula stopping by here. But for me, since I'm more in the Milpitas / San Jose area, there are other nicer sports bars. I would return if there was a special event, but wouldn't go out of my way too. read more

For a sports bar/dive bar, this place is pretty nice. The bar area inside is nothing special (again, typical dive bar vibes) and the food is a hit or miss, depending on what you get. But what makes this place fun is the outdoor patio space and the people. I've been to Sports Page before and after Shoreline concerts (pre-Covid) but it's always been a shit show since it's always packed with drunk concert goers. However I joined a sand volleyball league and we play at Sports Page throughout the week and it's actually a really cool vibe! They renovated the back patio so it's really nice with all the new large screen TVs and overhangs. It's perfect to watch sporting games or a chill weekday team happy hour (hence you'll see a ton of Googlers hang out here after work). As far as Sports Bars go, this is actually the best one I've ever been to. I was in the Bay Area visiting my boyfriend's family for Thanksgiving. I told him that we need somewhere to watch The Game (if you are from Ohio or Michigan, you know what this means!). So I looked at the OSU Alumni Club page for the Bay Area and saw there were 4 locations in the Bay for viewing parties. This location in Mountain View was closest, so we came here. Given the game started at 9a, we got here around 8:40a. We were the first car in the parking lot. We walked inside as we started to see other Buckeye fans trickle in. At first, the staff here was really slow moving. You could barely find anyone to ask them to turn on the game. The outside area was totally shutdown and the inside area was freezing because the heat hadn't been on throughout the night. I was at first regretting our decision to come here. However, once they opened up the outside area and turned the game on, I really enjoyed the vibe out there! They had the heating lamps on, which were appreciated. There were about 35 other Buckeye fans out there, which made it a fun vibe. Throughout the game, I also saw Clemson and Wisconsin fans form their own little area outside. And inside, there was a World Cup game with lots of Mexico fans enjoying the atmosphere. Four different groups of fans-- this is what a Sports Bar should be! We ended up eating both breakfast and lunch here. I loved both their breakfast and lunch menu. I ordered the egg & cheese croissant for breakfast, which was delicious! It also comes with a side of fresh fruit. And then I ordered the chicken tenders and fries for lunch. Tenders were perfectly breaded with all white meat. Both meals completely hit the spot! I also loved their assortment of beers. I was very excited that they had Mango Cart. And then I also drank a few Cali Squeeze Tangerine Daze as well. It's a nice outdoor space for friends to gather. They have a full bar, seating inside or on the large patio in the back area. Food is not bad, burgers, wings, etc. My "go-to" is the fish and chips! Out back there's a pool table, ping pong, volleyball court with sand, and numerous TV's with sports on. Note: It's a regular for people before and after a concert at Shoreline as well! Not so great: A dive bar that charges upscale restaurant prices for beer (e.g. $8 for a pint of Trumer, plus tip). To be fair, most of the restaurants in the area are surprisingly expensive, even to someone like me who is used to SF/Berkeley/Oakland prices. (Seriously - Can anyone explain to me why more suburban places like Pleasanton and Mountain View are more expensive than the more populated, higher rent cities?) Some cool things that caught our eyes: - there's a volleyball sand court (no drinks allowed inside- and I saw kids playing there.. so I guess it's not just 21+ ?? - there was a juke box (but no music was playing) - both indoor and outdoor seating - outdoor seating has plenty of heaters - outdoor has ping pong table, pool table and more! - there were three screens for games and a personal party Some things we were turned off by: - Bathrooms we're small (women's restroom had 2 stalls) pretty crowded , I was practically running into people and the door - There's not a person to wait on you or seat you.. it's really bar style (I guess walk in and signal for a waiter) - the one waiter/bartender was helpful but I felt bad - it seemed like it was only him and one or two more people. - Food was trash. The movie theatre's food is better. Chicken wings were salty - didn't taste fresh. The meat on the nachos looked like they were cooked the day before ... we didn't eat it, we ate around it. The perks of here: variety of bar foods (burgers, sandwiches, salads, appetizers) and lots of outdoor seating. Even if it's cold, they have a lot of strong heater lamps that can be turned on. Staff is super friendly. Things that can be improved: portion sizes are on the smaller side and quality of food isn't the best. I had some fish and chips and the fish filets were a little over fried and slightly burned. Assuming it's the same guy (scrawny, 5'4"), ask him the simplest question and he'll either dodge it or try his best to talk down to you. I asked him why their latest karaoke DJ had quit after mere months; he replied with something evasive, followed by an answer I later learned was BS. I also asked about the possibility of leaving a door propped open in light of all the viruses circulating this winter, which was met with a sarcastic rant that began with "If you're afraid of getting sick, why even leave the house?" He wasn't smart enough to do the condescending thing well, but it's the thought that counts. I'm guessing they treat their hired help with the same level of respect they show their customers. In both the karaoke and trivia departments, this place seems to be a revolving door of guys that quit after a year or two. Everyone agrees that the food is nasty. Maybe that's why a recent report by SCC's Department of Health gave them a mere "Conditional Pass", citing violations like a moldy ice machine, vegetables being stored on the floor, and unrefrigerated food that'd been left sitting for hours. Oh, and a quick keyword search for "Sports Page" turns up articles in the Mountain View Voice about bar fights, knife stabbings, and people trying to run over each other with their cars in the parking lot... all in the past five years. One of those articles said Google recently bought the land under Sports Page. Given its current state, maybe it's time to break out the bulldozers. read more

Came here for the first time a few months ago with some co workers after work and it was a little slower, but it was also a Wednesday. Came back a few weeks later on a Friday evening and it was crazy packed! For bar food, the food isn't bad. Also noticed they change their menu for days that have a show at Shoreline, but most places do this anyway. The prices for beer are also a little more than your average bar, not sure if it's because location, but we were paying about $25 for a pitcher that would normally cost us $18-$20 in downtown Sunnyvale. The patio seating is nice. Huge open area and they have some pool tables and a volleyball area. Been coming here a while now and up until recently I've had no problems. One night I came right before closing with my friend who needed his phone charged so we got a drink to pass the time. Keep in mind another pair of guys were having a drink next to us too yet the bartender kept rushing only us to finish our drinks. Fast forward to last Friday when me and the same friend came back, the same bartender questioned us if we were the two people who were refusing to leave a few weeks ago? Out of confusion we said "we don't think so" and we proceeded to ask for a pool table and drinks. After using up our quarters at the pool tables I came back in to exchange some dollar bills for more quarters but that's when he told me that he went back to look at the cameras and came to the conclusion it was us and that once we've finished our game to please bring the stuff back and leave. Once we brought everything back I asked him if we were banned or what was the outcome and he said his "manager" questioned why we were there after hours even though he still served us and had more people inside when we left. He told us to give it a few months before coming back.... Definitely didn't sound like that's what his manager said but more of what he wanted so we left. If you've ever been to this location you can probably tell who was the bartender, yes the Indian guy. Always been somewhat courteous and professional with me but this encounter definitely left a bad stain with me. I live right across the street so it's a convenient spot and my parents come here all the time and actually know the owners so I will keep this review updated after they have their own talk with them about what the problem really was. If it was that big of a deal I can't see how they'd let me off the hook after a few months and not ban me and my friend like other stories I've heard. It's a shame this place gets a bad rep but what I have noticed is that if your skin pigmentation is anything other than white, you might not get the best service from certain bartenders who seem to pick and choose when and who they're nice too. read more

First time here. Thursday night. PACKED! I can see why people come here. A "divey" place that is clearly a local favorite after work. Downsides were the VERY limited parking, available seating, heat, loud sounds. Yet, I loved this place! Great vibe and things happening. Good food and quick service. This location is on a corner by a lot of high tech companies. The parking lot is more of a parking not. There area so few spots considering how many seats there are in this place (inside maybe 60; outdoor ~150?). That said, I drove to search, a Tesla pulled out and I parked quickly. It was over 90 this day (last Thursday) and there was no A/C in the place with few windows. And with the mass of people there that day, it was HOT inside where we did find seating. Cool to have a live DJ and the music was good. Fun for after work. But LOUD music with loud acoustics inside with all the people talking made it very hard to have a conversation with my two friends. The menu has a good selection. The potato skins were a tad smaller but well done. My Bacon Cheeseburger was tasty and fresh. I was shocked and pleased that with so many people here that night that we would not see our orders warm or in less than an hour. It took only 20 minutes and it was all fresh and warm. Yum.
