The room at first site appears clean until you start seeing the smaller details. 1. Black hair found in our bed on the sheets 2. A towel that was neatly folded, had blood or feces on it 3. Note sure why the restaurant is closed because of "covid" 4. No breakfast service as listed in their website. 5. $200.00 incidental charge that you won't get back for up to 10 days. 6. The walls are Not soundproof as listed on the website.

Our single bed was quite wide, the ceiling above the bed was very high, but the bathroom was small, had no spare toilet paper, and only two hooks to hang anything, which made it tough to hang clean clothing and towels to dry for two guests who do not share towels. Speaking of which, towels provided were limited, so when I found a stain on my bath towel and requested a fresh one, they brought me a whole set. After our time here I saw a video by theholdernessfamily mentioning hotel bathrooms with barn doors that don't close tightly. I didn't realize that was a thing. But it proved true here! Also clear glass shower doors which make it impossible to share the bathroom with a gal pal while someone is showering. Our across the hall neighbor was loud. It was as if there was an open house party each night from about 10:30pm to 11:45pm with all the loud comings and goings. Their 24 hour gym had a water fountain. They have a Grab & Go stocked with a variety of snacks, drinks, some ice cream, and useful things.

As we started to make our way to the elevator we realized one was out of order, we got on the one that was still in working condition and I realized the subtle warmer temperature difference between the hallways and the elevator. We find our room and get settled in. I hate to complain about something so minuscule, but it's 2026 why am I paying almost $400 for a weekend stay at a hotel and they can't even provide me with a roku tv or any smart tv so I can actually make use of the appliance?? I hardly know anyone who watches just the cable channels. Later on that same day we decided to check out the pool before they locked it up for the night. As we follow the pungent smell of chlorine down to the main floor, we find the pool area. The pool only went to 4.5 ft, which I guess I can't complain too much about. The jacuzzi is pretty small and can probably comfortably fit three people before everyone's knees start rubbing together. Entering the pool I had high hopes, even though the strong smell was making me a tad bit dizzy. After getting splashed in the face, I realized just how irritated my skin was getting from the chlorine, I'm no pool expert or anything, but I've never had my eyes and face burn so intensely from a hotel's pool. I can understand the irritation of getting the water directly in your eye, however i wasn't splashed in the eyes much at all and yet my eyes almost looked blood shot. I don't know, but if I had children I wouldn't have wanted them anywhere near in vicinity. The jacuzzi wasn't any better, I couldn't last more than 5 minutes of the chlorine steam hitting me in the face. Other than that, I had to go directly to guest services to restock some things we had needed in the room because I had called the front desk twice on multiple occasions politely asking for more towels and whatnot. They would proceed to tell me they were gonna send someone up with my stuff, hours would go by with no knock on the door from the room attendants and no check back call from front desk making sure I had gotten what I needed. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed my stay thankfully, I just think it's crazy to have to pay all of this money if I'm not getting great service and a safe environment for me to leisure around in.

The lobby was packed with families checking in -in addition to waiting for the bell hop. Our room was on the 10th floor. We had a view of the baseball field(room 1019). The view was the outfield. Next time we will choose a room on the higher end 1030+ for a view of the stadium to see home plate. The hotel is adjacent to the Convention Center connected by a walking bridge. Conference rooms were comfortable and spacious, food was great , escalators were always working!!!

Worst run of all the IHG properties I've ever stayed in, which number in the dozens. The inability for IHG to provide any kind of relief other than "sincere apologies" has lead me to cancel my Gold Elite IHG membership.

The room was fine, good bed, decent sheets and towels, and plenty of channels to flip through. I wish it was a little closer to food, as there's only one restaurant in walking distance and it was a very pricey Greek spot. But you can order in from the nearby strip mall, or stop in and grab a pizza or fast food, which I did one night. Parking is limited around front, so you'll have to park in back if you don't nab one of the front lot spots. It made walking out there a little longer, but the lot is big, free, and has room for larger vehicles or even trucks and trailers if you're needing more space.

This was full breakfast. The only downsides: it was a little run down in the hallways, the elevator was out of order (not a problem for me but just stating it) and the ice machine in the room was broken (also not a problem, we just went down to the lobby and they gave us some right away!). You can either call the front desk to have ice brought to your room or I just asked for a cup of ice from the cafe or bar once in a while. The best part is the location. You can take long walks around the lake but you can also walk to grab things from Whole Foods or visit multiple good restaurants... all within a 5 min walk. Even the mall is just across the main road (although it's better just to drive across) If you don't want to walk there's an entire restaurant in the hotel, along with the cafe and the bar. I was really surprised by the quality of the breakfast. Even the continental, which is typically used at other hotels to say "this is basic and not very good", was delicious. I tried the avocado toast as well and that was equally good. This was one of my better Marriott stays. I will definitely be booking again.

This was, without question, the worst hospitality experience I have ever had…read more On March 31, 2026, I booked and fully prepaid over $1,500 for a King room for July 17-20 through Expedia. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we arrived one day late, at approximately 2:30 p.m. on July 18. When we arrived, I was told that the hotel had marked our reservation as a "no-show" and given away our room, despite having already confirmed our stay on Expedia. What is particularly frustrating is that no one from the hotel attempted to contact me or Expedia before canceling and reselling a reservation that had been paid for in full. Throughout the entire weekend I was supposed to be staying there, my Expedia reservation still showed as active and so was unable to get a refund for the insurance portion of my payment. I understand that the hotel may have considered us a no-show. However, I find it extremely difficult to understand why a fully prepaid reservation would be canceled without making even a basic attempt to contact the guest or the booking agency. If a hotel chooses to accept reservations through third-party sites such as Expedia, guests who use those services should receive the same level of consideration and professionalism as guests who book directly. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled made me feel as though our reservation mattered less simply because we had booked through Expedia. I was repeatedly told to contact Expedia and that the hotel would do nothing to help. One employee even smirked while telling me this. The lack of empathy was incredibly disappointing. When I asked what we were supposed to do, given that every hotel, motel, and other lodging option within roughly 18 miles appeared to be sold out, no meaningful assistance was offered. I stood at the front desk quietly crying while politely asking for help, and no one made any real effort to find a solution. One young woman at the front desk was genuinely kind and compassionate, and I appreciated her treating me like a human being during an extremely stressful situation. Unfortunately, that was not representative of the overall experience. I have significant health issues and had been looking forward to this trip for a long time, and instead we were forced to stay at the only property we could find, in an area where the hotel itself was gated because of safety concerns in the surrounding neighborhood. I did not feel comfortable staying there, but we had no other choice. What makes this even more frustrating is that when I later checked this hotel's website, rooms were still showing as available. That reinforced my feeling that this situation could have been handled very differently. This was not simply a matter of a policy being applied. It was the complete lack of communication, empathy, and willingness to help that made this experience so upsetting. Policies are one thing, but basic customer service should not disappear when something goes wrong. Afterward, I looked through the hotel's other reviews and was disappointed to find similar complaints from other guests. That makes me concerned that this may be a recurring issue rather than an isolated mistake. I sincerely hope management takes a serious look at how prepaid third-party reservations are handled and, just as importantly, how guests are treated when problems arise. No guest should spend over $1,500 on a fully paid reservation and leave feeling dismissed, embarrassed, and completely abandoned. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.
