The employee sold me a door. It was the wrong door. I drove back to show him. Then I spoke to a lady who told me I could put it on a in-store credit and it will last for two hours. She said we should have some inback if you just trade but that's the only way to return it. They didn't have any in stock another employee told me they didn't have any. Then a big butt blond employee started procrastinating. She showed me a whole list of doors that I told her they don't have in stock. We were going around in circles literally. I finally asked her. Can I just get my money back so I can go to Lowe's? She said look you're 1 minute over sorry but you can talk to my manager, Gavin. I waited for an additional 25 minutes to speak to Gavin. He didn't even acknowledge me. Talked to her and then said I'm sorry my hands are tied the policies 15 minutes. He didn't even listen to what I had to say. Honestly, that's just poor customer service. I'll always go to Lowe's for now on firsthand. Don't fall for the in-store credit scam. Also watch out for the manager Gavin he sucks! What normally is a pleasant and consistent experience in the garden area, became an abrupt change during my visit today. I was on the hunt for a flowering plant for my patio. I asked Markiah who was working in the area whether or not she knew if Geraniums could thrive in a patio with indirect light. Half way looking at me she mumbled that "She really didn't know" and turned her back to me as it was clear that she was preparing to leave her area. As I walked away I noticed a large Marigold plant near the register area and again asked a question. I asked Markiah if she knew where there were any smaller planters of the same flower. The first time she did not answer. I asked her again and again mumbled that she "did not know." Not on either attempt did she even offer to direct me to someone that may beable to help me with my questions. I was appalled by her non chalant and unprofessional demeanor. I asked her what her name was, and she provided it to me and walked away. As I continued to walk through the garden area, Noel saved the experience by smiling, giving direct eye contact, and seeing me with a plant in hand, offered a cart to assist me. As I walked to self check out, I once again see Markiah standing with a few fellow associates giggling and giving me a snide look as I walked by. I can only help to wonder how many other customers may have had similar encounters with this associate. To anyone in Management that sees this, please take the time to speak with this employee regarding what good customer service is made of. Today I went in for some LED household lights and great deal on. Milwaukee Compact Drill. The customer service of 2 people (Madaleese & Dave) in the tool department was above and beyond the call of duty. The Milwaukee was stored down under the lowest shelf locked up & the combo were extremely difficult to manipulate for both of them. They both laid on the ground to access 2 locks and retrieve the drill I wanted. I thanked them for their efforts and they thanked me for the business. With customer service like this it's no wonder I keep returning to my neighborhood Home Depot. Of course the tool was of great value, as it was on sale with 2 extra goodies included! read more

I immediately contacted customer service to schedule a technician and was told someone would come the day after next. However, when no one showed up or called, I followed up and was informed that we were never actually scheduled. As a result, the appointment had to be rebooked for the following week. Went to get some plywood for a home project, the associate that was working asked us if we need help and we never saw him again. We tried to flag down another associate and he told us we was busy with a customer, and would be with us shortly. Again, never saw him. Finally, we asked the employees at the front desk register to call for assistance in lumber 3 times. Waited a total of 45 minutes until we left out of frustration, didn't even get an update. Go to Lowe's, their service is a lot better. read more

Overall they have a pretty wide Selection of garden tools, plants and flowers. Most of the things you need for around the house that's not at a grocery store you'll more than likely find here.. however the worker in the garden section Angelina's customer service wasn't customer servicin lol. She was not happy to be at work at all she was very rude not one smile not one hello. It was just quick and convenient to go to her. She is really the only reason why you guys got three stars or else I would've gave a better review because the store is immaculate. Sad that the customer service brought down the places review. The staff at this store are outright scam artist. My dad came in here to make a big purchase and the cashier, Dawn, told him he could earn $300 back by opening a Home Depot card. He opened it and then was told by another staffer it was only $100. Not only did she outright lie to him to get her commission, but he didn't even earn any rewards like he'd done if he'd used a different card. Beyond scammy. Went in after 7 pm, good time to go. I had no clue where to find 2 specific items my contractor asked me to pick up. I saw an associate as I entered the front door and asked him where I can find a particular floor trim and he immediately guided me to the right aisle. I wish I got his name. Secondly was a clear silicone seal for my shower door and Ray (associate) was also very kind to direct me to the correct aisle. Smooth shopping and I even picked up some AA batteries on the way out. I returned a tarp to Home Depot that I bought earlier today. It was too small. When I returned it with the receipt they lady wanted the debit card I paid with. I didn't have it. Left it at home because I was with my husband and he had his. Said we wanted cash back. To buy another one. Anyways. She would not refund it. Said we needed the debit I paid with to get cash back. I told her we have never had to do this. She said that's how she was trained. So we asked for store credit so we could get a bigger one. She wanted his ID and logged it into the system. And then when we went to use it it wanted us to scan his ID too! Why is it like this?? Why do I need my debit card for cash back? This makes no sense at all!! I had my receipt. read more

Three hours after I had my countertops torn out, Blocktops says they aren't going to install my countertops and home depot is like, oh well, here's your money back. Two and a half months later can't find anyone to install my countertops. I have to brag on Joey! My hubby and I went here Saturday evening to buy a Christmas tree. The one outside weren't looking that great, so we thought we'd go inside to look at the kind you can put up year after year. We found one that looked nice and couldn't find the box for it. We kept trying to find someone to help us with no avail. One guy said he'd send someone and whoever that person was never showed up. Somehow I came across Joey. He was immediately friendly and could sense my semi-distress. I told him I was trying to find the box for a particular tree and asked if he could help. Joey stopped what he was doing to help me find the box. There were not left. He scanned to see if the store had anymore. They nor any of the neighboring stores had them. Oh the sadness! Hmmm...what to do? My eyes glanced at the floor model. The lightbulb came on to ask if they could sell it to us. Joey said yes! I jumped up and down with excitement. I looked at the tree trying to figure out what to do with it. We've never had an artificial before so I hadn't the slightest idea on how to take it down or anything. Joey jumped in to action. He proceeded to take the tree down and look for bins to put it in. I was surprised how heavy each piece was. Joey said the tree is made of metal so it will last a long time. Wow! Joey found an actual tree storage bag for all of the pieces to go in. It looked like a body bag! Whoa! Joey gave us a nice discount since it was the floor display. That was well appreciated. Joey made sure we had a flatbed cart to take it to our car. Joey's kindness was wonderful to receive. He is a great employee and human being. Thanks so much Joey!!! read more

First the sell me a broken American standard toilet huge Crack in the water tank have to load up packaged toilet back to store and replace it. Then I thought maybe give them another chance. So I go buy a Ge dishwasher have it delivered and installed so the guy who installs didn't bother to see if it would run through a cycle properly I've tried running and then it just shuts off indicator light says H2o. So I call home depot need to send somebody out to fix it or replace it. At this point I have to wait until Wed So they come and pickup broken appliance then they tell me replacement dishwasher is on backorder, now i start to get angry i can feel the hot lava from my veins boil and i"m about to lose my mind knowing i will not have a dishwasher for Thanksgiving they offered another repair guy to come out! No thats not what i paid for..i paid for a functioning brand new dishwasher! After yelling and shouting at them they reluctantly gave me the refund but now have to go back in to Home Depot to get my money back. Of course they dont tell you anything they just assume you know this! Well no i don't! They just don't take care of you at all from appliances to the customer service it's all basically the toilet! Ordered a month ago of an appliance that i would be needing this Holiday and i was promised that it will be delivered to me 2nd week of December.. I paid in full and in cash and i was given an order # and a confirmation # as well... A week ago i made a follow up of my order and they couldnt verify nor find my transaction document nor my order #. I talked to different people and they all said they couldnt locate my order # like it wasnt existing at all, and finally one person said it was not processed.. I waited for a month believing a big company like THD will honor their words and our contract and receipt i paid in full.. I was disappointed and given another promise it would be delivered after Christmas.. What's the use when I need it this holiday to cook and bake? The workers seem not even apologetic when they already ruined my holiday.. their excuse was they had a backlog of orders... Backlog??? i paid for that over a month ago and i was given an ETA, so how does it become a part of backlog??? You dont make promises or give an ETA for unsure merch... Just because of my disappointment i cancelled the whole thing.. and will never trust this store anymore who has a 3rd party and not have their own stocks.. The selection is good. It's very hard to find an employee if you have a question. You have to go up and down lots of isles to finally find one. After you do find one they are always knowledgeable and helpful but it kind of spoils the whole experience when you have to work so hard just to find a helper. Right now I'm trying out their contractors list so hopefully that will go well. read more
