This is the room Calliope climbed for the first time!! We could see the planes take off from our room window. Highly recommend! The morning breakfast was very good with hot & cold options! It was literally within walking distance. And so, I was pleasantly surprised at how the Hampton Inn hotel brand is really good and definitely a nice spot to stay while you're in Providence, Rhode Island. I definitely enjoyed the inexpensive hotel room rates that they provide while being comforting and safe. The service here was very friendly and professional and got my room key within five minutes of checking in. Well, they did not have much time to enjoy the hotel other amenities on property, I just needed a place to stay for the night. I booked the hotel room via hotels.com, because I have loyalty points with them. The entire experience was uneventful, which was nice. Just get in. Have a great nights rest and left the next morning around 4 AM for a ride down to Warwick. So it was a Early bedtime for me that stay. But it was nice to enjoy about seven hours of sleep before I had to check out of the hotel. I booked a king size bed, of course, and it was definitely a good rest for me. The bed is comfortable and everything look very nice and very clean. The TV didn't work the way I wanted it but that's OK. I just worked on my phone during my stay and I'm glad that the air conditioning was functioning. The ambiance was nice and quiet. During my stay here, no loud noises or kids screaming or anything else that would wake me up from sleeping, which is ideal for anyone including me. The overall experience here at the Hampton Inn by Hilton near the Providence regional airport was very pleasant and cozy. It was what I wanted and a great night's rest before running a marathon in Warwick the next morning was ideal. The only problem was that I didn't get a chance to partake in the hotel's breakfast that came with the room, since I checked out at 4am. The check out service was nice and chill. Just dropped off the room key and I was good to go. Wish I used the hotel's other amenities at the time of my stay, but I guess I was in a rush to get to bed to enjoy the room that evening to get the best rest possible. For the most part though, it was nice to spend Sunday night in May 2025 here at the Hampton hotel by Hilton grand property. It has all the amenities you can have or providing a comfortable room for you to stay in. Not to mention one of the better sleep I've had while traveling in a while. Best thing to do is to order up yourself a king size bed if that's possible for you and relax. Definitely relax while you're there. If you're in the Providence Rhode Island area and need a place to stay, consider coming to this Hampton property It is literally in walking distance from the airport. I enjoyed the lobby and the spaciousness of the first floor. The hotel isn't very large, but it is quite nice to have this hotel near the airport where you need it to be. Not sure if they have a swimming pool but probably next time I will be wanting to use it This Hampton hotel in Providence, Rhode Island is within walking distance from the Providence regional airport. Like many hotels in the industry, they accept third-party bookings from third-party sites like hotels.com and Travelocity. Or if you're wanting to book direct, you can also do that. They accept major credit cards , but I'm not sure if they take cash. They do take a deposit for the stay, but normally refund you after you check out. As far as parking goals, they have a generous amount of parking spaces for you to park in for your stay. If you're like me, you don't really need a car if you're flying into Providence airport. Or if you're taking Amtrak from Boston or Hartford, Connecticut, you can make your way from the Amtrak station on public bus and come to the airport. And it's just a within walking distance. And of course, Uber and there is always available for your transportation needs if you need them. And so, if you are needing a hotel room stay in Providence, Rhode Island, consider this Hampton Inn hotel by Hilton. A Good nights rest at an affordable price. No frills, but Standard everything. I just wish that I had their breakfast during my stay because it could have been better if I had breakfast before running a marathon in Warwick. I felt comfortable here and it felt just peaceful to be here. Definitely a nice place to stay when you're in the area. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. It was a nice place to stay. I will come here again if my future travels permit me to do so. Support local! B

Let's break it down on the Rick Scale: Value: Very reasonably priced. 5/5 Room: Good size with plenty of storage, decent sized bathroom and comfortable bed. 5/5 Hospitality: Front desk was super accommodating and nice. Rest of the staff seems very happy to help you. 5/5 Housekeeping: Not the cleanest Garden Inn that I have stayed at. Could use some TLC. 3/5 Maintenance: This hotel is starting to show its age. From noisy HVAC systems to little defects in the furniture, it's all starting to show. The carpet in the rooms and hallway need to be replaced asap. It gives a strong musty odor. 2/5 Restaurant: Great selection of food and drink. It's not a typical Garden Inn restaurant but rather an actual bar joined to the hotel via a hallway in which you'd need your room key to re-enter the hotel. Overall it's a great place; close to the airport if I'm traveling through for work, it does the job well but really needs an update for the rooms. I stay here often and I notice it's slowly declining in quality.

First time here and it's a decent property. What held back from higher rating were maintenance…read moreissues, the layout for the driveway and the finishes in the room. Upon arrival the room was at 68 (below 30 outside) soooo turned that sucker up. Put it on 74 and thought it would warm up overnight. Arrived pretty late, after 11pm. To my suppose the room was still at 68. And getting out of a warm bed to that was not my idea of a good morning. I called the front desk and the agent confirmed I was using the right thermostat to control the temp and noted that maintenance would check it. That was fixed as when I returned it was a nice balmy 76! Downside though was the unit did an odd cycling thing with warm air....cold air...warm air. So it never shut off at night and tan the entire time. Their drive way is odd, one way only and Tuesday morning there was a delivery truck blocking the exit. Thankfully no one else was behind us so we were able to back out. The room felt very industrial. Concrete walls and high ceilings, with an almost open concept bathroom. Barn door and the shower was a waterfall (over head) with hand held option thankfully. If you've got curtly hair, you know why a waterfall shower is the worst. And to ere was no shower cap as an option. The shower itself did not go all the way to the ceiling which also meant there was no barrier between you and the room. If share with a partner may not be bad but with friends, that's a nightmare. Other downside was the lock was funky. When leaving for dinner, thank goodness I checked the lock as it did not lock. I had to open the door and mess with it to finally lock. All in all decent hotel however I can't say I'd stay again.

The bed was comfortable--not super hard like some places, and the bathroom had more space than a lot of hotel bathrooms do. However there were a few not so hot things as well We got a room on the quiet floor, and there happened to be a venue right outside which was hosting (what seemed to be) a concert. They blasted music from around 9pm-11pm, and the room was genuinely vibrating. I have noise sensitivity and got a throbbing headache as well, which sucked. Obviously the hotel can't just cancel the concert, but it would've been nice to get a "hey just so you know there will be a loud concert tonight on these days" because we had to get up early the following day and just finished a 6+ hour car ride. It's nice if you don't mind noise

It loses connection every 30 seconds and you can't get reconnected. This seriously affects us business customers who need to connect to the home office. (Yes, I am an IHG member, but that didn't even help.) As for the TV entertainment, only half the channels work. In regards to other reviewers talking about kids and teens running around, it's very true. Kids are everywhere and are very loud. Lastly, the Whiskey bar wasn't even open, even though it was advertised as being open. UPDATE: The Internet connection problem seems to be an issue on the floor I'm on. The Internet in the lobby is working, so I guess I'll have to work down there.

The only thing it had going for it was, it was the only bathroom out of the three that the floor tiles weren't all broken. The lovely room that we had to settle on, because it was 11 o'clock at night, may have been worse than the first two. It came with not one, but two mouse traps. The floors were filthy and disgusting clearly again not vacuumed. The floors were so bad. I had to wash my feet in the morning before I put my socks on. You could visibly see the dirt discolor the water in the bathtub when I did so. The surfaces had not been fully wiped. There were foot-long black hairs all over the bathroom floor clearly not mine since I have a very short haircut. I'll have to come back to finish this

Solid breakfast in the morning. Very nice front desk. Overall lobby and eating area was well taken care of. Price was expensive because it was memorial day weekend. Kind of to be expected though.
