I came here with my husband I got the churro funnel cake and it was really delicious. Everything tasted fresh and the service was fast. Me and my husband will be coming back again. 10/10 The location is very small, but it's not hidden or anything easy to find

Talk about a way to treat yourself on a hot summer day !!!! I wanted to my nieces out to get a sweet treat ! And from the moment I walked in , I didn't regret it ! I forgot the woman who was helping us name , but I definitely won't forget her ! She was so nice and patient , she explained the menu to us and told us everything was made fresh . It was definitely worth the wait ! My tastebuds were dancing from the first bite ! I was sad when I was done lol . I definitely will be back !

Awesome little ice cream shop we came across. Funnel cake , banana splitz, blizzards, pazookie type item. Had it all. A little small to stay and eat but it was excellent! Solid and fun little quirky spot. Nice size bathroom too.

It's Tuesday night, 7pm & we have a sweet tooth! Found this place on Yelp & took that 20 minute drive to try it out. It did not disappoint. When we arrived we did have to wait a few minutes as they were taking care of 4 people in front of us. They make everything to order so we didn't mind the wait. We ordered the fried Oreos, Cookies n cream funnel cake & a root beer float & a churro. They also gave us the can of root beer which was half full. I appreciated that. The serving is generous. Everything was yummy & we were totally satisfied. We will be back to try other items.

Such a great spot that is open late! If you have a sweet tooth, you need to check this place out. It is a very small establishment so just be ready to grab it and go it the few seats that are there may be taken already. There are many options for your funnel cake. Wendy with a group and we went with the following: Nutella, strawberry banana, peach & strawberry. They were all so delicious! We did ask for some vanilla ice cream as well which is the classic Thrifty brand.

The location is in a convenient shopping center w/ plenty of parking. Service was very welcoming. The service lady took her time to give us a quick run down of the menu after she asked if it was our first time. The place is small, mostly meant for take out but they do have a couple of tables with chairs. It's very much on brand; for a moment it does feel and smell like fairgrounds, love the nostalgia. We ordered the fried Oreos + a funnel cake with vanilla ice cream and chocolate drizzle- both very yummy! The Oreos taste better than the ones I've had at the OC fair and I love that they are generous with the powdered sugar. The funnel cake is gently crispy and I appreciate that they don't over do it with the toppings- it was the right amount of chocolate and sugar. The portions are fair and easily shareable. We truly enjoyed indulging here. We plan to be back.

This place is amazing!!! They have a variety of delicious desserts!!! The Strawberry cheesecake funnel was done so well and the strawberries were so fresh it's a must!!! My girls enjoyed it very much....one ordered a cone with cotton candy ice cream with sprinkles. My other daughter ordered a Banana Split that she devoured! The ice cream they sell is Thrifty ice cream so you know you cant go wrong. We are definitely coming back and bringing family and friends. Thank you for your passion with desserts!!! Super cute little spot. I tried the choc mousse funnel cake - it was so good! To my surprise it wasn't super sweet as I had anticipated (choc overload, I wanted to try something different) it was just right! They just don't have any tables. Found on Yelp and just had to give it a try. This is honestly just the type of place I've been wanting around the IE: a local spot to satisfy a funnel cake craving, without having to go to an amusement park or a fair. Given all the flavor options of their ($7) funnel cakes, you just can't beat it. They make you want to try them all. I couldn't believe I passed by this place every day going places. They also offer more items like kettle corn, shave ice and other fair foods. It's a tiny place with nowhere to sit but you can easily enjoy your treat in the car. Also, please be patient as the funnel cakes are made to order. Please support this amazing business! read more

I'll start by saying the owner is nice and friendly. But here are my issues: -If I'm paying $7 for a funnel cake the funnel cake should fill up the entire container. Another customer ordered the funnel cake fries for $4 and they received more funnel cake than my $7 cake. -the funnel cakes are visually unappealing. The guy who made my cake sporadically poured the mixture into the fryer. You gotta make patterns and layers for a nice funnel cake. -the cake was also overfried which made it extra crispy and crunchy with no soft cake inside. -pickle shaved ice is literally shaved ice with pickle juice. Very creative. -popsicle decorations out front but no popsicles for sale?! Sketch.... I know you guys are new so I won't give you a 1 star and crush your business but if you're gonna open your own business you better come correct or Yelp will destroy you. read more

We decided to go to Fairgroundz because we heard they sold different types of kettle corn. When we arrived the place was really small, they show online that they sold cotton candy and popcorn and all these different candy apples but when we asked for popcorn & cotton candy, the lady said they didn't have any. Idk if it's because of Covid but they didn't really look like they had much, they only had like 4 candy apples, which were the ones with just nuts and a few brownies. The popcorn and cotton candy though was the main reason we went, so we were really disappointed. We ended up getting 3 ice cream cones, but one of the ice cream I was told tasted like it had freezer burns, and one scoop of ice cream was $5 which I thought was kind of expensive. read more

Very cute little business. Pertaining to COVID: social distancing is enforced, they have plastic dividers separating you from them, sanitized pens for customers to sign with, sanitizer provided, and can hand your order to you in your car. The owners are professional and kind. The FUNNEL cakes, which is what I got from here were delicious. Specifically I ordered the apple pie one and banana creme one. The funnels cakes are a decent size and can be shared between two-three people. If you like a lot of sugar and can eat a whole desert, by all means eat one for yourself. I would say that the funnel cake was sweet and soft. It wasn't burned. With all the extra toppings you do have to eat quick because of sogginess, but that's okay. I like that they give you it in a tin container and a top to cover from any mess. I would only say to be mindful of your fork when digging in because you might tear into the container. Other than that, yummy food! Definitely coming back and trying other items. read more

The waffle itself was warm, fluffy on the inside, and slightly crispy on the outside, which made such a perfect contrast with the cold ice cream. The soft serve was smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet, and the Oreo crumble added the perfect crunch and chocolatey balance without overpowering everything. I've worked in customer service and understand that places get busy, but this wasn't a matter of being busy, it was a matter of not caring. We were treated as if we didn't exist. If this is the standard of service this restaurant accepts, there are plenty of other places that deserve your money far more than this one. The only thing that kept me from giving one star is the fact that the guys was super nice when we walked in. We went in for my son, because he is celebrating his 18th birthday and really wanted to try this place....the funnel cakes are really greasy and the oil tastes old, I ordered an ice cream sandwich and the cookies were so stale and burnt!! Everything was extremely disappointing and unfortunately, we will definitely not be returning, unless they do a deep cleaning and put more care into the quality of their items. I get that it is fair food...it's supposed to be greasy and unhealthy and delicious...but this lacked the delicious part. Prove me wrong, please guys. I'm really rooting for you!!! read more

He's world class seriously, my family is big in the food industry, we own the brand of a very successful company, we offered Lewis a job because his customer service quality, he is truly a professional customer expert, he has everything a company would want, I've told him this multiple times. I was excited to get a funnel cake to surprise my kid. He really liked it, I thought it was okay. The texture was a bit more dense than I'd prefer and it wasn't super flavorful, but I liked it enough. The wait wasn't too bad, about 10 minutes with 3 people in front of me. A word of caution: The place is small and it feels like walking into a grease pit. I had to change my clothes when I got home and wash my face to get the smell off of me...and it still lingers. I'd have been fine ordering from a window and never going inside, but I don't think I'd recommend spending any time indoors. read more
