    I brought a homeless cat that I had taken in for a check-up because my regular vet didn't have any openings for 6 weeks. When I brought my/the cat in first they were running 20min late and offered no apologies. Then when we were in the exam room they took the cat from me under the auspices of doing a FHIV exam. Next thing I know a VERY rude and curt vet dr. is telling me that the cat is microchipped and they will be keeping him and that's it. They did not allow me to say goodbye to this cat I had grown to love over weeks of care. There was no appreciation for taking good care of a pet they were summarily taking from me. Just very cold and almost accusatory. This establishment lied to me and then took "my" cat in an unnecessarily cruel way. I don't think that is any way to treat a person who was trying to get an animal care, even if the animal did need to be reunited with its original human. Awful place. Thankfully my regular vet is wonderful and I NEVER have to go back here. The wonderful cat below

    Took my sick kitty right in and had her for 3 days. Called with updates daily. Very impressed with them. Highly recommend ‼‼

We showed her where everything was and what we would need her to do. It went well. She is very responsive when you message her. She shows up when she is expected to and most importantly, she isn't afraid to deal with our 1 cat. We would definitely recommend Alexa!     We booked Jennifer'a service twice, the first for drop in visits while I was traveling out of state…read morefor work and we had a good experience. The second again for drop in visit's but a very poor experience. I caution anyone from paying in advance which is what we did. We were booked September 26-28th for drop in visits anytime between 12-1 as I was again traveling for work out of state. We knew Jennifer was unavailable that Monday but made do. We received a message on Monday confirming the booking and requesting payment which I sent. Tuesday the 26th came and I received a Facebook message at 12:43 pm indicating she had to cancel due to an emergency with her fiancé in Canada and she would refund for the day and she should be back for the next day. At that time of day and being out of state I was unable to find an alternative and my pets remained caged for 10 hours. She did not send the refund for the day. The next day came, September 27th, and again at 12:10 pm another Facebook message came in she was unable to make it, would provide a refund, unsure of when she could make it. I asked for a refund which she confirmed she would do. On September 29th I sent a follow up message and also sent a Venmo request asking for the credit. She indicated she could only give me $20 of the $60 because she was broke and still in Canada. She still did not send even the $20 she promised. I sent a follow up message today indicating I found it extremely unprofessional that she accepted payment in advance, was unable to provide services and unable to issue a refund. I've remained calm and patient through the ordeal and I find myself appalled. She notified me of her inability to provide services with little notice, I was out of state forced to look for alternative care, unsuccessfully by the way both days shortly before her scheduled arrival. I'm asking a final time for you to issue an immediate refund and she indicates she can't and will whenever she returns home. I understand things happen, completely get that emergencies happen. But being unable to provide a refund and essentially spending someone's money without providing services is unacceptable. I can only hope she makes it right however it appears that's unlikely.

    Just brought my Siberian Husky here for the first time, and WOW what a great experience!…read more My Coco girl had been dealing with a severe allergic reaction on her skin over the past few months. The reaction had opened up various lesions and sores on her back. These lesions had since scabbed over, and those scabs began to peel, causing a ton of dandruff and fur loss. This was causing major itching and discomfort for Coco. Our vet gave us a medicated shampoo to use for grooming, we just needed to find a groomer! After speaking with a couple different groomers, we landed on Hounds of Love! We explained the situation to them and asked for thorough yet gentle grooming due to her sensitive skin. They were GREAT listeners, and they were able to accommodate our special requests with absolutely no hassle. When we picked Coco up after about an hour and a half, she was calm, relaxed, and happy. But more importantly, she looked GREAT! Her fur is clean, and her skin is looking healthy and healing! The groomer even gave us some useful pointers on ways we could groom her at home without worrying about damaging her skin. I wish I remembered the particular groomer's name so I could give her credit, but the entire team at Hounds of Love is very nice and professional, and they do an INCREDIBLE job! We have found our regular groomer, and I cannot wait to bring Coco back once her skin heals completely! Thank you Hounds of Love!

This was my 1st time with Hounds of love and I'm beyond impressed . The staff was so nice and friendly. 5 stars isn't enough 10 would be perfect. Thank you so much .
