Very professional and friendly. They handled my dog's annual visit very well. It would definitely recommend them.

I don't write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn people: STAY AWAY from Dr. Miller. She is…read moreincompetent and shockingly unprofessional. She botched our cat's kidney disease diagnosis by completely ignoring (forgetting?) blood work results. She never even staged the disease and showed no knowledge of modern CKD treatments that could have extended our cat's life for years. Instead, she proudly bragged, multiple times, about being a "farm girl" who is quick to put animals down. That cold, morbid attitude may have cost our cat years of good life. Reading other reviews, I am not the only person to experience the same concerning behavior by Dr. Miller. Then there was the recent nightmare. Our other cat was admitted for a mass removal and tooth extractions. I had called around to see if another vet had any openings sooner and found out that doing both in one procedure goes against industry recommendations. Cornell for example, said they would not do both at once as it would be unsafe. When asked about this, Dr. Miller seemed to take that as a personal attack, said that because we wanted a second opinion (we didn't) that she refused to do the surgery. Even though our cat was already in her care, being prepped for surgery, she just abandoned the poor animal in pain while she took other appointments before notifying us. We had to rush back and pick up our suffering (her words) cat with nothing done. Due to her lack of integrity, she hid behind a manager who accidentally confirmed the cancellation was purely because Dr. Miller threw a tantrum over being questioned, not for any medical reason. She condescends and engages in severe guilt-tripping. I initially dismissed it as just an awkward bedside manner. She lectures owners about pain while refusing to communicate or stand by her decisions. I've been through many years of delicate pet procedures and home care (including injections and IVs, this is not my first rodeo), and I have never, ever seen a vet refuse basic discussion, lay the guilt trips on so thick, or punish a poor animal because their ego got bruised by an owner. Her behavior is disgraceful and unethical. Dr. Miller is years behind on feline kidney disease. Recommending euthanasia at stage 2 while proudly claiming ignorance of several effective treatments that can help control creatinine and BUN levels. If your cat has CKD look up AIM therapy, it could save lives if it becomes commercially available (maybe spring 2027!). The good doctor had never even heard of it. The staff is great. The doctor is the problem; arrogant, outdated, and thin-skinned, putting her pride above animal welfare. If you value your pet's life and proper care, do NOT take them to Dr. Miller. I'm shocked at how our cats were treated. I've never had an interaction like this before in my life. Please read similar stories to mine and choose your vet very carefully. She will withhold information and try to browbeat you into euthanasia (she offers instant service for that!). If questioning doctors makes you nervous, she'll bully you, be careful.

Recently she began losing weight pretty quickly owing to what turned out to be lymphoma. It was so sad to see her trying to climb short steps and just spending most of her time sleeping. We clearly had to make a decision and, with the deeply compassionate help of Doctor Hines, we let our little friend go. We have been doing business with Walworth Animal Hospital for almost twenty years. They even helped us care for and attend to a feral cat that showed up about 10 years ago and would not leave. All the shots and regular visits. For us, the doctors and staff at Walworth Animal Hospital have always been kind, thoughtful and professional. I strongly recommend this practice.

On August 12th, 2019, Doctor Lynda Wright killed our beloved cat Thomas…read more The preceding day, a Sunday, we noticed that Thomas wasn't feeling well, he seemed to have a cough, which is something we've seen in him before over the years. Preferring not to have to go to the emergency hospital in Henrietta, we opted to wait and see if we could get him into Phelps Veterinary Hospital on Monday. The next day Thomas was noticeably better, but we still wanted him to be seen. Although in the past we have had a difficult time securing "same day" appointments at PVH we called and were thrilled that they could get us in later that afternoon. We brought Thomas in for his appointment, and at first everything was going as expected. We waited anxiously in the waiting room entirely unsure of which staff doctor would be seeing Thomas this visit. When the door opened we were initially excited to see Doctor Wright who treated another cat previously. As Doctor Wright examined Thomas physically, it became apparent that she was completely unfamiliar with his background. She had no idea that he was seen at PVH just two weeks previously as a follow up to an ear infection that was treated by the emergency hospital and then Canandaigua Animal Hospital (because we could not get into PVH!). She seemed entirely uninterested in the short video my wife had made of Thomas coughing the day before. It should be noted that at this time our cat was walking, meowing, purring, rubbing up against us, Doctor Wright and the techs. They even remarked that he was purring so loudly. Doctor Write told us she wanted to do an X-ray and we agreed. She called us in the back to review the X-ray with us and she said that Thomas has fluid around his lungs. She told us this was "serious" but that she "had seen much worse"; her words. She told us she wanted to try to extract some of that fluid to determine its nature and subsequently an appropriate treatment, and to this we again agreed. Doctor Wright told us this may take some time and because we were feeling very cold in the air conditioned office, not to mention worried about our Thomas, we told her we wanted to take a few minutes outside in the fresh air. We spent maybe ten minutes out by our car, then we came back into the waiting area of the office. We waited another 20 minutes at least, with a room packed full of people and screaming dogs, and then a tech came out asking who was with Thomas. We said that's us. She instructed us to wait a moment, left, then returned shortly with our Thomas in his cat carrier. She had discharge notes and instructions from Doctor Wright and she began to go over them with us. Right away my wife and I thought it was very unusual not to get a consultation from the veterinarian. The technician continued on saying that Thomas was given an injectable steroid medication and an injectable antibiotic. At this point, my wife and I took this as a sign of relief, we sincerely both thought that Thomas wasn't in bad shape and would be just fine. We got Thomas just into our car and we immediately noticed he was not doing well. We called PVH IMMEDIATELY from our car and an incompetent teenager who answered the phone told us that we didn't have an appointment, and we'd have to go to the emergency vet hospital over 40 minutes away. My wife and I then watched in helpless horror as Thomas' throat closed up, and he died in our arms in our car in the parking lot of PVH. As this was happening, we watched as Dr. Wright left the hospital in her blue Ford Escape not even five minutes after delivering a lethal dose of whatever it was that she injected into our beloved cat. Dr. Wright and the staff at PVH treated our beloved Thomas like a flea infested feral cat they trapped out back. The lack of compassion and professionalism was deplorable to say the least, and our cat paid the ultimate price. I absolutely hate Dr. Wright, Dr. Coleman (the owner) and the staff of PVH for murdering our beautiful cat, Thomas. We will never forget what happened and the lack of compassion and care from Dr. Wright and PVH.

We have 2 Boston terrorists who love trouble and can be a handful. They both took to Dr Coleman right away. He gave them exams, shots, and nail clippings, nail clipping at home is almost impossible without putting them in a sling. We were very impressed, and will be going back. Highly recommend using them. The office is nice and the staff was really friendly. We look forward to our next visit!
