I read the reviews about them upselling their services and was a bit hesitant but the positive ones about their fast and great customer service won me over so I decided to give it a try. There was no wait on a Sunday mid afternoon, and I literally just sat in my car for less than 10 minutes and I was done. My total was $103 (oil change and they topped my coolant for an additional $6). I know I probably would've saved about $40 going to Jiffy Lube with a coupon but I really liked the convenience of not needing to leave my car. I was helped by London and Alex and the service I received from them was exceptional. I was offered a few other services for additional charge and the pricing weren't bad - but it was over 90 degrees today and all I really wanted to do was be able to get my oil changed quickly so I could turn my air conditioner back on. I received a list of recommendations on a few part replacements so I probably would go back soon to get it done. Valvoline Instant Oil Change in Hacienda Heights is a 10/10.

He's never tried to pressure me to do a service I didn't need and their pricing is quite reasonable. He even threw in a brake inspection and O2 sensor test at no extra charge since I was already in for the valve adjustment! His team did same day work: rear differential fluid service, stainless steel braided brake lines installation, and a full brake fluid flush and bleed with DOT 4. They used the correct API GL-5 SAE 75W-85 gear oil for a limited-slip differential and torqued everything to spec. Results were obvious after starting my car. Firm pedal. Straight stops. Quiet rear end on LA freeways and in tight low-speed turns. Mike's communication stayed clear and kind. Price matched the estimate. No questions or upsell :) The waiting area has plenty of seats and a TV for those who can wait. The shop itself is very organized, clean, and tidy. About four or five lifts, busy but under control. If you need brake upgrades, a brake fluid flush, or differential service in Walnut or the San Gabriel Valley, this is the shop I recommend. Honest work, good communication, correct fluids, clean install, quick turnaround.

Not sure who I talked to but I think they were having a bad day and took it out on me. I was trying to get some information about potentially replacing my 2006 Honda Accord's heater core. I first asked if they do this service which they do. I don't say the year of the car yet...then he proceeds to tell me it's going to be "thousands of dollars." I say ok and "I'm just calling around to get some different prices to see if it's worth it for me to do this service, since the car is older." He says "it's not me to tell you if it is worth it or not that's up to you" yes that's why I am calling to see what my options are??? I've been trying to tell him the year, make and model this whole phone call and he keeps talking over me and assumes and says "well I can't just give you a price over the phone like $200 and then you're going to come in shop and expect that price, you need to come in so we can get the accurate price" so it went from thousands to $200? I know it wasn't going to be $200. I say "ok I would like to give you my year make and model now and if you could tell me a price range for my information." He says "$700" and I say "ok not too bad" but then berades me that is not the final price once again. Then he says it's $90 just to check if it's even the problem when I already know this is the problem because my trusted mechanic checked it. Otherwise I wouldn't have called here. That is ok with me that this business policy is to charge for this check, I just didn't appreciate that he was rude to me over the phone and assuming that I wanted an accurate estimate right then and there with no information about my car. Then the cherry on top of it all was not asking if I had any other questions, and hangs up on me. Based on this customer service alone it doesn't make me feel like this business is genuine and I will not be servicing my car here.

They charge a small fee but I would rather pay that than to wait for my sticker in the mail. However, last week when I went to renew my registration, I realized I had to do a smog check in order to complete the process. W H A T!?!?! I panicked because I have never gotten a smog check before AND my registration was literally due in a days. I paid for the fees and went right on to Yelp to start my search. There were many places through out the SGV and OC around me, all had very reasonable prices. However, not all of them were opened on Sundays. I was already on my way to Rowland Heights to run some errands so I decided to stop by Smog Test Only Discount Center nearby just to see if they would accept walk ins. Thank Goodness they were opened until 2pm and only had 1 customer before me. The total time spent was approximately 30 minutes and total cost was $55 (accepts Cash, CC, Zelle). Maria helped me and she was SO nice! I am not sure if I may need another smog check anytime soon, but I do plan on referring friends and family here if they ever need one. Bonus: They offer hair cut services as well. Not sure if it is for me but I can totally see men getting a buzz cut here while they wait.
