I've kept Knutz Auto on my radar ever since we moved to Roseville for when it was maintenance time. Extremely happy to have found this auto shop for general maintenance on Yelp. 5 stars across the board! TIP! General inspection is free and so is tire rotations. But the two aren't "intergal" to each other. So be sure to ask for both general inspection AND tire rotations. Mike at the front desk and their team of technicians were absolutely fantastic - excepetional customer service, in and out the door, straight forward with precisely what was needed, competitive prices and affordable, and no funny business. Acura MDX needed an oil change, general inspection, and likely replacement of the brakes. I do simple tasks on my own, like air filter and cabin filter replacements, so I knew they weren't needed. Walked in to drop off my Acura MDX around 8:45 AM (no reservations or appts needed, just walk in.. Yes!! Just like the good'ol days). Mike called to let me know precisely what I already knew - brakes needed replacing, otherwise car is in good condition. Gave him the green light and car was good to go by 1 PM! I was referred to Kuntz Auto by another local shop & researched the Yelp reviews. Called and made an appointment a couple of days ago for power steering flush and suspension lube. Not complicated, but messy for me to tackle in the driveway. Arrived at the appointment time and my truck was taken into the shop area in a few minutes. I then peeked into the shop area. Approximately 16+ repair bays that were well organized and clean (you can get a feel for a shop that is busy, yet still clean). Vehicles of all types were being worked on, from routine maintenance to what appeared to be major repairs/overhauls. The waiting room is comfortable with candy, bottled water and coffee. The owner has his office just off the waiting area and interacts with customers. Everyone I met from the office staff, owner and mechanics were very friendly. My truck was ready within 30 minutes. The mechanic that worked on my truck answered my questions and was very knowledgeable. Completed the work I requested, looked for any issues, but never tried to 'up-sell' services/products (like dealers are notorious for). Called up Knutz and Scott answered and was immediately attentive and very nice over the phone. Stating the issue I had with my diesel truck. He said man we are incredibly busy.. but I'll tell you what, you have it dropped off same day and I will have it back to you in a few days. Literally the day after it was dropped off.
