Tried this place out for the first time. I don't get my nails done often. So I made an appointment through their booking system (booksy) with the intention of getting fake nails for my upcoming trip to Hawaii. (Mine had been bitten to the nubs and i just wanted nice nails for my trip.) well I guess I got confused with the terminology when I booked (again don't get nails done often and never gotten fake nails) and I thought a hard over lay was like fake nails. So when she was working I was like this seems like a weird process...then when she said she was done I was like oh ok there must be some confusion on my part. I explained to her (Lynn) and she fixed for me and redid my whole nails and was super nice about it and explained to me the differences. The only thing I was a little upset about was when she asked me if I wanted a nail design I had said yes a flower but must have forgot by the end and I didn't wanna bug her about it after the whole ordeal of having had chosen the wrong thing initially. Took my mum here randomly and really enjoyed our experience. It was overall excellent, only complaint was both of our nails were chipped badly by the next day. I'm not sure whether they didn't do enough coats or whether the nail polish was just not great. That was disappointing but other than that...wonderful! Went here for the first time today. I booked an appointment for a manicure + pedicure. It had me pay a portion online for the service i picked and the tip upfront which I thought that was kind of cool. They had really good reviews online so I was excited to give this place a try. It's new and I live very close to it. After the lady did my toe nails (btw she clipped them hella weird they are not even straight) she tried to check me out for the rest of my payment. I said what about my manicure? She didn't understand so the teenager that works there and checks people in can over to help. He seemed surprised at what I was saying. I asked didn't it say I had a mani pedi when I checked in? He admitted it did. The lady who did my nails seemed so annoyed she was about to do more work so I said just forget. Just charge me for the pedicure. I already paid $22 something online I had to pay the remainder I was upset because I had given a 18% tip online so I said that. The teenager was like we can do something for you when's the next time you come back. I said never now. Tomorrow is my baby shower and now I have my toe nails done but not my hands. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I should have know better than to go somewhere else. Bad service and don't recommend this place to anyone. They rushed the whole time & on top of that kept cutting my skin. then to end it the polish came out rough. So she tried to rush me out knowing her work was crap. Wendy is obviously new and doesn't know what she is doing bc she needed someone to come finish off her job. Overall was disappointed. Get your customer service together! I walked in around 7pm and the shop closes at 7:30pm. No one greeted me and the lady at the front seemed very confused while helping a customer pay. I stood in line behind the customer and still, no one approached me. A nail tech walked past me without saying anything. Another customer walked in behind me and the lady at the front helped her before me. All I wanted was a full set and if there wasn't enough nail tech or enough time, they should've helped me by telling me that instead they had me waiting at the front for what it seems like an eternity. After the lady helped the girl behind me, she FINALLY asked me what I wanted. I said a full set and she said hold on and looked around and no response. Some time had passed as I was waiting for her to tell me if they could squeeze me in but she said nothing. I asked again and she finally told me there's no time and no nail techs available. All of this time wasting could have been avoided if someone would've helped me when I first stepped into the shop instead of wasting my time waiting around for someone to tell me something. Some friendly tips, please make sure the front person knows how to handle payments with their customers, knows how to greet and help customers and make sure they help customers in order. I will not come back here bc it was def poor customer service. You would think they would be top notch esp bc it's a new shop...with their "grand opening" sign still out front. Smh. read more

They cut the side of my big toe nail too short and I was bleeding all over the place. The worst is they tried to blame it on my ingrown toenail and I had to pay an additional $10 for the service. They also tried to push more services on you , which is annoying. It's a nice shop but that's it. Won't be going here again. read more

First time there and I'm sure there are better places in Hayward. First, I definitely got someone who was new or learning her name was Lynn. The nail lengths are not even, the filing esp around the cuticles is sloppy and 2 nails were crooked and and just not as neat and clean like 99.99% of many of us who get our nails done regularly would expect especially from a place who clearly charges for every little thing. Just know, and i dont know if this is standard or if this was my pricing (lol) but this "glitter dust" effect was an extra 15.00! The pedicure was blah. Nothing special, I guess the massage at the end was better than other places that I've been too but at the end of the day, I don't recommend. Save you time and money. read more
