The Lingerie Collection in Winter Park has a lot to offer in its seemingly small, quaint shop located just off of Park Avenue. I never really noticed this place until this morning while I was walking from my car to the restaurant I was having brunch in. Mannequins adorned in the most fashionable, yet classy lingerie graced the large glass windows of this shop. Curious, I stepped inside for a moment to see what else this place had to offer. Bras, panties, nighties and various other under garment items in several colors, shapes and designs filled the store from front to back. All of it looked cute and was clearly meant to make a woman look and feel sensational. This shop carries garments to be worn under clothing, to bed or as a special gift for your significant other. It just depends on your intended use. Like most of the shops on Park Ave, they are a little pricey in comparison to other stores around town. As cute as it all was, none of looked very comfortable or practical. Nothing about this shop stood out to me in comparison to similar stores such as Victoria Secret. Overall, if you can afford to shop here go for it. Otherwise, you're better off going elsewhere.

Walked in on a weekday evening. No one was there except the security guy behind the tinted glass window and the shop keeper. She was quick to help me find what I needed, despite me having to tell her I was not there for a swimsuit, twice. Found an item on sale and it was perfect for what I needed. Also found edible underwear- not functional of necessary, but funny. The bride to be enjoyed the gifts. Especially the rhinestone detail on the negligee. Parking is easy. Large sign out front. You CAN turn in to the store from the furniture store, despite maps saying you gotta take a U turn and come around. Just turn into the furniture store and you'll see the access road to sweetheartz. Might be a chain, with another location in Orlando. Lots of club wear, swimsuits and sexy underwear. Funny stuff, toys, etc. Great place to shop for a gift or even an outfit for Vegas

The staff were BEYOND rude as I browsed in the 36 section, my new size. "You DO KNOW those are 36, right?" They didn't seem to be convinced that was my size because I was bandaged and in a surgical bra. Not to mention she shouted it from the register in front of a line of customers. I simply nodded my head and continued to browse and she had the nerve to roll her eyes and again preach to the store "we will have to size you!" Um actually, you won't be touching me you fruit loop. Then another associate walks up to me and says "someone will be here to help you with the drawers shortly." Ok so, I can't browse? You dont have my new size out anywhere as advertised so they must be in the drawers? Am I right? How long am I supposed to wait here for my bra expert? They have engaged me 3 times now, all negatively scolding me for browsing merchandise. This was all made worse by the fact I was shopping with my mother and fiance. Oh, and I knew someone in the store. I called corporate but I have yet to hear back, maybe tomorrow. I also didn't bother with in store manager because if I had to guess she was the devil behind the register. I hope everyone can learn from my experience and go right across the walkway to somewhere much more friendly.
