Pepper & Eggs, provolone and grilled salami

Food is usually good, staff is great. But today, I was a bit disappointed.... The sandwich was barely a sandwich. Pepper and eggs. One piece of cheese and one piece of salami on each half(which I prob paid $4 to add). As someone who works in the food industry, seeing that a good portion of the roll is not even covered is a lack of care and consideration for the customer. It's clear and obvious that the customer is not getting what they're paying for. And even with it being a busy Mother's Day, those standards, which I know are typically here, should not change. I will keep coming here, but please do better.

Stalked photos for the best crispy bacon BLT (with that perfect late summer Jersey tomato) and fries, landed here and was not disappointed at all! Waitress had the perfect class/sass combo. Will return.

I really enjoyed this diner. I feel it is almost the same as any other diner except it's in a different state. As with most diners the prices are reasonable and they seem to give a good amount of food for the money. They also have cakes and pies on display so you can always end your meal with a dessert. I decided to go with the quesadilla and onion rings. The quesadilla could have had more seasoning but generally speaking it was good. My friend had the Chicken Philly and she said it was enjoyable. She had leftovers to bring home. I cleaned my plate so nothing to bring back lol. The waitress was friendly and made us feel welcome. When and if I am back in the area more than likely I will stop in and try something new.

Mother's Day brunch at Sabrina's Café with my beautiful daughter We made sure to get there early…read morebecause if you know anything about this neighborhood gem, you know they don't take reservations. This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. Overall rating for this visit: 8/10

My dad loved the shrimp…read moreand grits and enjoyed that he received so many shrimp (7 or 8) that all had good size to it. The chicken and waffles were also excellent. My young son really enjoyed this. The fried buttermilk chicken was so on point that we ordered a second one as a side dish. Likewise the buttermilk chicken sandwich was great. I added bacon which was a good call. I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier and I think raw spinach rather than sautéd spinach would have helped the chicken stay crispier. We also order pancakes. The pancakes were super big. I'm talking dinner plate big. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the big size. The texture was off putting and the flavor was strange. As for ambiance, it can get a bit loud since it is essentially and empty room with only a little decoration. They do have a small outside eating area which was quieter and could be quite nice on a day with comfy temperatures. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back again.

The staff greet diners as they enter and explain that one must order at the counter then take a seat. The space perfect for brunch - natural sunlight, cozy, a mix of table types (low, high top). It's perfect when dining along, just two, or a small group. Usually I get take out but I may start dining in more often. The food never disappoints, though sometimes the multigrain toast can be a bit tough. On Saturday we had Divorced Eggs and I'm still thinking about it. The over easy eggs were perfect and the crunchy tortilla underneath was the perfect size. It held up well to the pile of slightly spicy chorizo, pickled onions, fresh jalapeños and other tasty items on top. The potatoes were the perfect sidekick for sopping up the delightful combination of red and green sauces mixed with velvety egg yolk. miles Table is my new favorite brunch spot.

The decor is cheesy Italian faux live walls and Italian music. We stayed with the fried mozzarella and the fried calamari with long hots (that weren't long hots) which was the recommendation of the waiter Lucas. The were good but extremely greasy. They were served on a paper doily that was fully saturated in grease. The flavor was good but the greasiness was off putting. We had two entrees the standard chicken Parmesan and a special which was clams and spaghetti with Calabrian chilis. The clams and spaghetti wasn't terrible but definitely not spicy as we had hoped. The chicken parm was non memorable pasta was cold and under sauced. We also had the broccoli rabe which was good . We wanted to try the tiramisu but they were out of the dessert. First, the place is very nice on the inside; spacious, clean, relatively quiet. The servers were nice, (a little awkward, but nice...), and the food was delicious. I decided to go with the chicharrones mofongo, and the Misses got the salmon. We got a side of fried plantains to split. I was a little worried watching other peoples mofongos coming out, because although beautifully plated, the helping looked small. But, it was more than enough food. The plantains were more than a little over, (aka burnt,) but they tasted ok nevertheless. The Misses enjoyed her salmon, but was QUITE upset that the meal came with white rice instead of yellow. She says that she specifically asked for yellow, but I can't remember, AND, as is the custom now a days, the waitress didn't write the order down, instead trying to remember everything. Hate that practice, I really do. The MEALS were reasonably priced, but the sides and drinks were astronomical. The side of plaintains was TEN dollars. I ordered a coffee at the end of the meal, (that took FOR.EVER. to come out by the way,) and it was like an espresso sized cup of coffee that costed almost $5. The iced teas, over $4. They make up the difference of the meals on the other shit. Our bill for the mofongo, the salmon, an iced tea, a side of plantains, and the worlds slowest, smallest coffee was JUST under $100. It was good, but it wasn't THAT good. As I mentioned, the server was awkward, and would come by the table and then just stand there, or walk away and then walk IMMEDIATELY back, so it was just a little weird. YMMV. Again, even with all that, I would absolutely go back here. They have a LOT of mofongo options, and I'd love to try another protein.
