I had not been to a 24 hour diner in probably 25 years. My weekend eating is a bit different time wise so I didn't get hungry for dinner until 2 AM.!!! We found FALCON DINER on Yelp. I was so happy that we were going to a diner this late at night - it brought back so many great memories of a younger me! I had the best mozzarella sticks that I have ever had. They were packed with cheese and not greasy at all. I also had 2 cups of decaf coffee since it was so late at night (for caffeine). Our young male server, Evran, was so nice, courteous and attentive. My "Sir" got a really nice looking breakfast platter. He enjoyed it very much, and took half of it home for the next day. Did I mention their sweet portion sizes?! I am a big sweets and chocolate lover and was all but drooling over their bakery case with some glorious looking cakes and cheesecakes. (Really beautiful!) First off, a massive thank you to Falcon Diner for actually understanding the assignment and keeping the 24-hour tradition alive. I have a bone to pick with the rest of New Jersey: How are we the 'Diner Capital of the World' when every other spot locks their doors at 8 PM like they have a curfew? It's embarrassing. You aren't a diner if you aren't open at night! I stopped in around 9 PM for a bromantic dinner with a good broski. We were on our best behavior (no nonsense, just serious appetites), and Jennifer was fantastic--fast, friendly, and efficient. I ordered the Texas Burger (cheddar, bacon, BBQ sauce), but we need to talk about the caramelized onions. They were absolutely delicious--sweet, savory, and cooked to perfection. Food is usually good, staff is great. But today, I was a bit disappointed.... The sandwich was barely a sandwich. Pepper and eggs. One piece of cheese and one piece of salami on each half(which I prob paid $4 to add). As someone who works in the food industry, seeing that a good portion of the roll is not even covered is a lack of care and consideration for the customer. It's clear and obvious that the customer is not getting what they're paying for. And even with it being a busy Mother's Day, those standards, which I know are typically here, should not change. I really enjoyed this diner. I feel it is almost the same as any other diner except it's in a different state. As with most diners the prices are reasonable and they seem to give a good amount of food for the money. They also have cakes and pies on display so you can always end your meal with a dessert. I decided to go with the quesadilla and onion rings. The quesadilla could have had more seasoning but generally speaking it was good. My friend had the Chicken Philly and she said it was enjoyable. She had leftovers to bring home. I cleaned my plate so nothing to bring back lol. The waitress was friendly and made us feel welcome. When and if I am back in the area more than likely I will stop in and try something new. read more

Not gonna lie, the food that I ordered tasted good... at least the food that I got. I ordered a meat lovers omelette w/home fries and a big breakfast. The big breakfast is supposed to come with pancakes, french toast, some eggs, bacon and sausage. I was missing the bacon and sausage when I got back to my hotel. So grateful for this 24/7 diner in Camden County! Excellent choice for late night meals, which is really difficult these days, especially on a weeknight. The menu is full of pages of typical diner fare (which is excellent), and lots of more creative dishes, as well. You can still get the "3-Course Meal" (which we did) starting with a soup or salad, then entree, and a small dessert. The food was fresh and perfectly cooked. Very hard to choose because everything looked so good. I'm giving four stars only because the surly cashier seemed scattered (the diner was pretty empty at midnight on a Thursday in autumn) and cranky, and that wasn't the nicest way to end the experience. It won't stop us from coming back. So many remember when this was the Brooklawn Diner... so glad to have this terrific place for a terrific meal. read more

Really great Jersey diner. The prime rib is awesome. The buffalo chicken is crispy and spicy. The soups (minestrone and chicken orzo) were yummy. Kids meals are huge. Came into this diner for the first time since they changed management. The place is immaculate, everything is updated, new neon - just beautiful. Menu is what you'd expect for a diner and after scanning the selection I was just in the mood for a burger - oh and onion rings. Only, since I've been making seitan was looking for something veggie. Just when I was setting my expectation to a wrap my wife asked the host and though not listed on the menu they would exchange any patty for a veggie. Evening saved! Extra points when our waiter clarified that getting the deluxe included bacon (got that on the side for my friend - he got a regular cheese burger after clarifying they broil the burger). Food is pretty much the same as before the change of ownership. I eat the chicken soup everyday. I miss my regular server Lisa. I am not from Jersey, so not accustomed to some of the attitude shown by management and staff, but have been told it is normal here. No big deal. read more

Overall I had a nice experience and good breakfast. I would go back again with my little request of changes but nothing major. Definitely will be getting another waffle. Was anxious to try the new Falcon Diner since it changed from my favorite diner Empire Diner. But was quickly disappointed in the tasteless and terrible food selection. This was the first time I ever had to return a plate back that was inedible. The food here is very bland and tasteless. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to eat. read more
