I just recently moved out. I had a unit, unfortunately close to the street and not just once a week but every day I would hear landscaping outside of my window for hours when the summer came and I put in a maintenance request to get my fan fixed, they never came and fixed it. There's a bunch of stray cats everywhere. By the way do not put LEDs up in your apartment because apparently it attracts gnats/roaches. I had roaches the entire time I was there despite being very clean. Other than that, the property management was very very respectful and the neighbors are very friendly and The UCR/RCC commute is very short.Recommended for first step apartment. read more

I applied and they were honestly so rude! the entire time. I guess it's because I'm from Texas? I don't really know to be honest, I drove by there and looked at the property to drop off my application. That should have been a sign to turn the fuck around for what they were asking for in rent was atrocious because the property looked like trash but I have also had the WORST luck trying to find an apartment out here. They charge a NON REFUNDABLE application fee of a $50 money order and 3 months of bank statements? Like wtf y'all don't need my bank statements but okay? Anyways I got denied and I'm so fucking glad! Worst place ever, there was a Pitbull next door. I love dogs but if you have a 6 foot wide walk up to your door (patio opening - no gate - facing each other) with only a babygate keeping their dog in, it was a bit scary walking up to my door. They were kicked out due to dog. Tenants here told me that their oven broke and the apartment manager let them use my unit after I paid down payment, when I moved in unti wasn't clean, black widow was in tub apt mgr. killed it. Low and behold, the next neighbor had a Pitbull. He kept his in with a chain. Unfortunately he'd be gone overnight leaving his dog out and dog would get out under fence blocking way to laundry room. FYI, it was months before they'd get them out. I didn't cause them to move, a neighbor with little kids was the factor. They moved me from this unit due to crack in kitchen floor and foul smell. The unit I moved into had a patch in the floor and between oven and cabinet the linoleum flooring was torn. I used kitchen rugs to cover this up. Anyway, sometime after moving in, the piping on the patio broke and flooded my apartment. I had to move everything into kitchen and small dinning area. I was this way for a week. They did not compensate me or move me to somewhere for that week. You would think they'd fix it ASAP but the worker admitted, instead of getting someone out ASAP, they used their on-hand guy from another apartment complex. They did replace carpet but with ugly dark brown carpet. I think they did this on purpose. Car was broken into, trash bins always overflowing and trash all over, locks on gates broken, managers don't follow hours, mail boxes open and broken into, more than once. Microwave broke, garbage disposal broke. I finally moved in September 2019 and have not received any deposit not even a breakdown. I left the apartment clean, no damage even though I lived there total over 6 years, 3 years in that unit. Everything was good when my wife and I first moved in. Advised management of certain issues and noisy neighbors and nothing changed. Ended up only receiving 125 dollars back for my deposit. Management is claiming of certain damage that does not exist and we have pictures. Beware and it is advised to stay away. Broken window screen that never got fixed, up stairs neighbors that broke their contract by smoking, trash everywhere, and people that scratch up cars. read more

This apartment complex went through a change of management recently and I can see the consistent effort they make to meet their tenants' needs. The manager, Emma, is very personable, genuine, and easy to talk to. I have had nothing but pleasant exchanges with her and she has been very prompt to address any needs that I have communicated. I moved in here January 2014 into a 1bd 1 bath, so I've lived here for 10 months now. The good def out weights the bad to me. But I'll just list my experience and let you decide. Location: It is central to UCR, the 91 and 215 freeway, STARBUCKS, Kmart, Starter Brothers, Sandals Church and a few fast food places. I find it super convenient. It is located across the street from a train, but honestly, you can barely hear it. I've only been woken up by it twice and t was when it was stopping due to something on the tracks, and that's if you're in an apt that faces it. I will say tho, it is across the street from the park and elementary that has had some fights that have scared me, and people "making love" twice. Again, its in a college area so you have to have some expectance of that. However, they just built a HUGE wall this week. :) Safety: I'm a 26 y/o female and I feel safe inside. I keep my doors and windows locked at night. And I'm pretty much good to go. I haven't seen "crazy" people around or anything sketchy. Their was a homeless man once in the dumpster looking for food, but... I don't think that's weird. Their aren't many options for them. And it was only once. I've accidently left my purse on my front porch, which faces the street and no one has taken it in the morning. Someone stole a raggy chair off my front porch the second week I moved in, but I think it was the neighbors who were moving out that day.. or one of my friends being silly. Inside: The apartments come with new paint and carpet so it has that new paint smell for a bit. The wood floor look in the kitchen is really pretty and makes it easy to clean. The Living room is large so you have a lot of area to play with. Bedroom has a big closet with two doors. Its weird, but works! In the summer their are ants in the kitchen, but its because I would leave food out haha, and it takes some time for them to leave. But they never got to the food in the pantry, or my cereals! The bathroom is a good size. I'm a girl so I wish their was more counter space. Wood floor look in their too. Just a heads up, turn on the vent you shower so it doesn't get muggy. SERIOUSLY. Patio: The patio deck is located in the front. I love my view of the school and mountains. The morning has the BEST sunrises, and when lighting hits the mountain during storms is AMAZING. Cliental: Hm. Rent is basically priced really good for this area compared to the apartments around. So you have a mix of young families, a few college students, and middle-class people. Some people have lived here for a LONG time, some not so long. People say the walls are thin.. but I never hear my neighbors. They prob hear me since I keep my windows open when I'm home. But everyone is pretty nice. Staff: They do what they need to do. And so do I. I only see them if I have a maintenance request. And they always try to take care of it ASAP. I've only had 2 since, and it was my a/c because I use it A LOT. Ive never had a problem with being able to get a hold of the girls. So that's my review. My roommate and I moved to falcon pointe in aug of 2013. We are two college students that attend ucr. This apt complex is really close to school. Its a downhill bike ride to ucr that usually takes us about 5 to 10 min to get to class! It takes around 20 min to walk there and back. Super convenient. When we first moved here, we had a huge problem with ants. But cant really blame it on anyone because it comes in from the outside through the holes. The management office always had tbe pest control spray or dust when we have problems. They usually come every thursday. After a while ants dont come back anymore if you keep the place clean. The staff here are very nice and helpful. Whenever we have problems with the apt, they will try to resolve it asap. The maintance guys are also very helpful as well. I just wish the gardeners could clean up our patio area a little. We are the only apt without a new white gate door on our patio. The pool area is really clean and there are a lot of chairs around the pool. Laundry room is always clean too and no one jacks your stuff. The computer room is very handy when you need to print stuff or just use the computer for internet. It is open when the leasing office is open. The gate is usually closed all the time at night. Overall the complex is pretty quite and nice. I do recommend to check it out! read more

Management is amazing. Especially the property manager Emma. Extremely helpful and kind. Any issues I've had they were prompt to fix it right away. The upkeep on the property is very well. It's a clean, safe and quiet area. Everyone is friendly. I've read other reviews before moving and was skeptical. But they are under new management and you can tell they've made a lot of GOOD changes. I have yet to experience any negatives. We lived here for 18 months. It was quiet and our neighbors were nice. Everything else was honestly not worth living here. There are unowned cats everywhere, not enough parking, trash everywhere, and maintenance takes forever to respond to problems. The ladies in the office are very kind, but that's just a front. Our oven did not work and burned all our food. We requested for it t be fixed/replaced and nobody came. The shower leaked over the curtain onto the bathroom floor. There are cockroaches too occasionally. The place was falling apart. There is also something wrong with the water. It was murky when we filled anything up. We had to buy a water filter the first month. Also the pool is always dirty. Thank goodness we got out of there while we could. (Pictures to come.) read more

My husband and I love this place. So elegant and an upscale apartment complex. Not like those trashy bootlegged apartments. The living is great, the area is so quiet. Next to UCR, super clean. The maintence techicians are so friendly, thats if you even need repair...HA! This place is so new, it is rare to find anything wrong. I love the office staff. I go in every month to the leasing office to make my payment, and they are always smiling and greeting me and are so friendly and genuinely kind. They truely love their job providing such great services, and helping people not only find a place to live, but a home. :) All I can say, if I am very happy here. The apartments are very cozy. Not too many children, which is big...My husband and I just got married, and we like our silence. I would definitely reccommend this place. read more

***2014 Update*** Forgot to update my review when we moved out...So after 3 years, we moved out. We vacuumed the carpet a few times, wiped down the walls, scrubbed the counters and floors, wiped down the blinds and windows, cleaned the bathrooms, swept in the garage, and sprayed down the patio. We got our full deposit back with no issues. We moved out due to a few issues. The ant problem was the first issue. No matter how careful you are or how much bug spray you use, if there's a single crumb on the counter, the ants come marching in. They would find new places to crawl out of. They came out of the electrical socket! I couldn't spray that so I had to duct tape it closed. Another issue was the ungodly heat. No matter how low we set the A/C, it would never get cold downstairs. We checked the vent and it was barely blowing any air. We called maintenance, but the guy said something like it's because of how the vents are set up. So we paid around $80/month to sit in an 88 degree room. The only way we'd get to feel cold was if we sat in our rooms upstairs. The last issue we had was with maintenance. We noticed any time something needed to be fixed, it started taking longer and longer. To the point where it took a few months to fix a leak from the last random rainstorm we had. I don't know if they just got busier or what, but it took multiple complaints for them to finally send someone over and fix it. So the price and the size of the apartment was great, but maintenance was slow and I just couldn't stand the ants and the heat anymore. One more little thing. When we were trying to get all our paperwork done at the new apartment, there was some trouble contacting the ladies in the office. At first they told the new apartment to fax over whatever forms they needed, but after that..nothing. The office at Falcon Pointe stopped taking calls from us and from the new apartment. The new apartment tried faxing them and got no reply. We couldn't make the trip back to Riverside to see what was going on. We were afraid that we wouldn't be able to move without the office filling out these forms. Thankfully, the new apartment took us anyway since we were cleared in our backgrounds and credit check. I still don't know what happened that made the office stop helping us, but oh well. read more

So this is an update from my previous review! They've gotten the cats off of the property, which is really nice. You don't hear obnoxious meowing in the middle of the night anymore! It's awesome! The ladies in the office are still amazing. There aren't enough kind words in existence to describe them. The water hasn't been shut off randomly in a really long time... (like 6 months or so.) It's been about a year since having moved out of these apartments. Not going to lie, I've asked myself "why did we move out?" more than once. Im finding that the reviews left for this complex are a little dramatic and over the top. We lived here for 6 months and felt 100% safe the whole time. Our maintenance requests always got addressed and fixed within a timely manner. The community was extremely quiet and the neighbors were a delight. Plus, we got our whole deposit back except for $30; which isn't bad AT ALL considering how some places basically rob people. Sure, these apartments aren't renovated to the latest trends with vinyl flooring, two toned walls and updated appliances. But guess what? The place we're out now has all of that, and I can't stand living here. Management at Falcon Pointe was always so friendly and prompt and we just had the nicest neighbors. The laundry facility was very rarely past capacity, and by very rarely I mean maybe twice in the whole six months. Parking was never really an issue because they ran it by a "first come first served" policy. All in all, we would come back in a heartbeat if it weren't for the carpet. Now owning animals has tainted our view on apartments with carpet. But we miss you all at Falcon Pointe! read more

We've been living here since Oct 2014 (August now, 10 months). For the most part, it's been pretty good. We got one of the two handicap apartments right next to the leasing office (neither of us is handicapped, but if one is available when a handicapped person is looking, then they are given priority other non-handies..) We chose it over other available one because we felt that it being so close to the leasing office, it would be safer and we would get a quicker response time for maintenance calls. We have been pretty much right on both fronts. Since the place is wheelchair accessible, the doorways are wider, and the bathroom is huge. However, storage remains to be desired. But the space is pretty efficiently used. The amenities covered under the rent are good, with us paying electricity (for a 650sq ft, 1 bedroom, with the AC on consistently half the day in July, was about $106). Pet deposit was the lower of the other apartments we looked at too, everywhere else was $500 ea, this place was $300. The place has recently gone through some change in management which remains to be seen whether they'll be better than the previous. Seems alright so far. Really quiet complex, which is awesome. Keeps a clean place too. Ivy makes the mornings a bit treacherous with a snail minefield but, eh. Still thinking we might renew for another year. read more

Terrible. I have lived in the complex for two years. They are very bad on maintenance, they do not communicate with you about work orders or anything that has changed throughout the complex, spending over 1,400 a month on a 90s-early 2000s style apartment. I do not recommend my worst enemy to apply and live in these apartments. I used to pay 950 for an apartment that had much larger bedrooms and bathrooms a mile away. I've been living at Falcon Pointe for 3 years and am very happy. The price of rent is very reasonable, and they don't raise your rent every year like other complexes do. I really like the staff because they make you feel like they appreciate you and value you as a tenant. The few problems I've had in my unit, the maintenance guys came and fixed it right away. I went to visit my mother and she needed some assistance with her gate key so she asked the manager and he was so rude to her telling her to get away from his door and wait until the office opens I've never heard any manager speak to someone in that manner. If you are trying to live at a nice, safe, and reasonable place DO NOT come here. I moved out the day my lease ended. We had roaches on day one, they never acted on service/maintenance requests, and most importantly half of the washing machines malfunction/broken when you try to do your laundry. After our neighbors tried to fight my girlfriend and me over a noise complaint and the management refused to transfer us or kick our neighbors out, we were forced to file a POLICE REPORT. Yvette (the property manager) told us that all we needed to do to was file a police report so management would have grounds to transfer us or remove our neighbors. We complied, even though we did not want the police to get involved. I reported the incident and when the police arrived, Yvette played dumb as if what we previously talked to her about was new information. This was right before our lease ended so we decided to leave instead of waiting for them to do anything. Based on their past performance, we assumed they wouldn't do anything for us. From the day i moved in, i regretted signing my lease agreement. The surrounding area is full of crack heads, pan handlers, wanna be gang bangers, and losers. I genuinely hope my review will prevent some of you from moving in here. You will regret it. read more

Woohooo They are right this is as good as it gets. Falcon Pointe apartments is worth all the money I pay. I am not looking for the Ritz Carlton, I need a good place to live to live the simple lifestyle I want. Everyone complains about the train, I knew the train existed before I moved in. Love this place, wouldn't live anywhere else. I leave in the middle of the night to go see my patients, or returning all times of the day, I have no concerns. I have my secreatary call the management staff if their are any issues and within 24 hours everything is handled. Good managment, good price, good location thats all I ask. read more

Terrible place to live! Takes them months to repair anything including: broken AC, Light bulbs, doors, holes etc. Office employees are VERY rude and impersonal. The whole place is run by a cooperation so if anything goes awry you have to call 10 different people before anything gets done. Also I would hardly call it a gated community, the gate is always open. People were yelling all the time, I did not feel safe in this apartment. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! My boyfriend and I have lived here for 4 months and it's terrible!! Our shower has stopped working about 7 to 10 times! They never come out to fix it that day either so we have gone plenty of times not being able to shower. We have had 5 leaks under our sink with water pouring out into our kitchen! We have had 3 huge water bubbles in our bedroom ceiling and when they cut them open they were covered in black mold!!! Mold everywhere!! That they never got tested and never treated! They also never fixed the leak so it's bound to happen again. The office ladies are so incredibly rude and unprofessional it's insane! They give nothing but attitude and Alma will do nothing but talk over you. Our neighbors are currently going through the same mold and ceiling problems! Fransisco will lie to your face and say no it's not mold it's just dirt you are fine.... Uhh no. I have also contacted the property owner Mohan who just wants to argue and he won't help you either. We also didn't have 2 of our kitchen drawers for 2 and a half months then when we finally got them they didn't have handles and one of them didn't even fit! Also our window seal in the bedroom is starting to get black mold. None of the gym stuff works. Neither to the bbq's by the pool. There is never ever parking inside the gate either. People leave there broken down cars in the parking spots so half of us have to park on the street. Yes rent is cheaper here but you get what you pay for! This place is absolutely terrible!!! I just moved into theses apartment in July..So Far I Don't Like Living Here. Can't Wait To For My Lease To Be Up! The Office People Are Not Helpful They Can't Even Answer The Phone When People Call When There Office Hours Say They Should Be Open. And On Top Of That There Is Never Parking, They Have Garages For The People Who Rent The Two Bedroom Apartments & Instead Of Those Idiots Parking There Cars InSide They Built An Exra Room For Some One To Live In Witch I Don't Believe U Can Do That, We Have Days That People Come To Inspect Our Apartment and I Can't Believe They Don't Tell Them Anything!!
