I called Triple A tonight when I broke down on a major highway. They referred it out to Falcon Towing. My car was in a driving lane, it was 9 pm and my blinkers were barely working. I had to get out of car so I did not get killed. I sat in horror as so many people was speeding down Sepuveda in Torrance almost crashing into it. I was bracing myself to witness someone die. So I immediately call Torrance Police and agreed to pay for them to get a tow truck right out. Which they did & sat behind my car to make sure nobody got hurt. I finally get a call from Falcon Towing and I asked why did it take 50 mins to call me. The rep started yelling at me about how there were 10 people ahead of me & I said that is unbelievable. He once again started yelling at me about how busy they are and eventually hung up on me. I would never use this company, especially if my life depended on it. A little before 11pm on Monday, February 24, 2020, I got a flat tire on my way to work on the 91W, going to Torrance from Norwalk. I initially called Honda Roadside Assistance because we have coverage with them, and their number was plastered on my driver side window. While the call to them and the assignment of a driver to me was easy and quick, their ETA to me would be well over an hour. The driver assigned to me was coming from Lawndale, and I was somewhere in Northeast Carson. I was already late for work, and I didn't want to be even later, so I cancelled Honda Roadside Assistance and called AAA instead. Ms. Angela started the call with asking if I was in a safe place, which was actually very comforting to hear, as I was scared and paranoid of being in an unfamiliar area by myself. Everything went uphill after that. I received a text message confirming a driver would be dispatched to me even as I was on the phone with Ms. Angela. I was told that Falcon Towing would be dispatching a driver, which was great, because (from a previous incident) I knew where they were coming from and they were relatively close by. I received a voicemail from Ms. Roxana, as a confirmation of what service was needed and what my exact location was. I called her back and she answered quickly, and she told me that someone was on their way. Mr. Juan G. arrived within 20 minutes of me calling AAA. It was perfect timing, because the business that I was parked next to, all of their employees had left for the night (11:30pm), so, except for the passing cars and trucks on the street, I was the only vehicle there. Mr. Juan worked quickly and efficiently, and did not seem bothered at all that I had no idea where my spare tire was kept. When he arrived, I was frantically reading through my vehicle handbook trying to school myself of my spare tire. I remained in my vehicle as Mr. Juan changed my tire. Afterwards, he explained to me that the spare had limitations on it's use, that I shouldn't drive long distances and I should not drive over 50mph with it, and that my vehicle would have crazy warning lights pertaining to the tire. I had four different warning lights on, and that alone would have freaked me out, but thankfully it was explained to me that that is "normal". Mr. Juan placed my flat tire in the back of the vehicle and returned everything to its original spot from where the spare was taken. He also noticed that the spare was on the flat side, so he added some air to the spare tire. I had a few phone calls to make to work and to my husband, so I stayed parked for a while. I'm not sure if Mr. Juan was finishing up his paperwork at the same time, but he stayed parked behind me until I drove away. Even if it wasn't intentional, thank you for staying, Mr. Juan G. I'm a little more anxious these days, and you helped make a very stressful situation a little less stressful. I ended up driving home afterwards, just to stay on the safer side. I'm a AAA member and had a punctured tire happen on the N110. Phoned and Falcon showed up 15 earlier than what was estimated. Ricardo gave my spare some extra air and changed the tire quickly making sure I stayed safe as it was evening traffic and cars were flying by us at high speeds. Took my vehicle there after being towed to their repair shop. They tow guy guy convinced me that rather than being towed to my repair guy, that they would give me an even better deal. To say the least, they over charged me, even after the tow guy said they would give me a deal because i was being towed by them through AAA emergency roadside assistance. I had a horrible experience with Falcon towing and AAA. They towed my car to their shop to put a good charge on a brand new battery that I bought from Falcon not one month before. I sat down with guy that was rude to me and was acting like this was my fault and he even questioned that I bought the battery from them. (Total disrespect) After talking to me like I was nothing he comes back and tells me its not my battery but my starter. I told them to leave my car alone and would take it to another shop. By this time it was to late to take it to the Mercedes dealer so Falcon towed it home. AAA charges this to my 4 free yearly assist for the year and tells me the next one will cost me. That next morning I get it towed to a Mercedes shop and what do you know it wasn't the starter a $700 job but the ignition a $200 job. read more

A freak accident left me stranded on the freeway. AAA sent Falcon Towing to pick me up, but warned me that due to covid-19 the driver was not able to take me home. They wanted him to leave me at the freeway offramp at night to wait for a Lyft! Thankfully, the tow truck driver did NOT leave me stranded as AAA "policy" dictated, he offered to take my car directly to the body shop. The service and professionalism at Falcon is TOP NOTCH. I was told the cost up front. They negotiated with my insurance to get me new parts, not used as my insurance wanted. They turned my car around in less than 10 days. Main St in Gardena, CA were johnny on the spot they dispatched Frank to the rescue due to the battery was shot to the curb..and our car just wouldn't start for jack but we were not worried nor did we stress about it..Frank told us the unfortunate news about our dead battery, but guess what? If I could give this place no stars I would. I was told by AAA that someone from falcon towing would come to my assistance at 6:49. My request was placed at 2:30 pm. After not arriving at that given eta, I kept calling AAA to ask for an update from falcon towing, they kept saying 2 hours. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt that they would come. Overall waited 7 hours for no one to show up. Had to leave my car there and take a Lyft home. Now tomorrow I hope to find a better service towing company that will be better than this place. The best car jumping service I've ever had! He arrived quickly, was very polite, and showed me what he was testing and what the results showed. The meter showed the charge (?) was 9/12 which is good but the other measurement was 0 (can't recall what it was called) and that this wouldn't be due to someone leaving an interior light on for example. He explained the code on the battery and how that told us the age. It was 7/6 and that the 6 refers to the year and since the car is a 2014, it couldn't refer to 2006, so it must mean 2016, making the battery 5 years old. This jived with what i knew to be true and I agreed I should replace the battery. He told me how long it would take to replace and what he was doing every step of the way. The tow truck guys are kinda awesome and professional. But I'm going to agree with the other reviews here and tell you that they work for an unethical garage. My car's electrical system died on a freeway just before it got dark. I called 911 who called AAA. The cops didn't come until after the tow truck 30 minutes later. I sat in a dark car that nobody could see thinking I might die. I had a new battery. So during the 30 minute panicked wait, I spent my time on line confirming that it was the alternator that went out on me. I wanted to go to my mechanic in Torrance but I wasn't sure how far I was allowed to go with AAA and I wound up at Falcon Towing & Auto Repair. I asked to have the car jumped so I could continue the 10 miles to my house. I didn't think the battery would die again. I was told that probably wasn't safe even on side streets. I was handed a piece of paper and told to put my information on it to authorize them to diagnose the car. The next day, the garage calls. He said nobody wrote down what was wrong with the car. I told him it was the alternator and described how the battery light came on first followed by the ABS light, other lights and the radio going off before the car (with a new AAA battery) died minutes later. He called me back and told me the price of the repair was $420 including two hours worth of labor and a AAA discount. I told him I'd call him back before authorizing the repair. I called my mechanic. He gave me close to the same price but higher alternator cost but one hour's worth of labor. When I called back, I was told that one hour was for diagnostic work and charging the battery. My battery died in my car, after leaving a door partially open. I got my wife out of the car, at the hospital, and I failed to ensure the door and overhead.compartment light was off. I called AAA and a truck and driver William Garcia was dispatched. Upon arrival Mr. Garcia identified himself, and asked questions. Once my vehicle was started, he did a systems check, and assured mye my alternator was fine, and no dead cells in my battery. I showed a 5% drain on my battery . It was determined by me, it was due to a wiper motor on, and a door light on. Mr. Garcia was in a clean uniform, with identification. He was polite, and customer friendly. I trust Falcon Towing and Auto repair, based strictly from my encounter with Mr. Garcia, and their dispatcher. I find him honest, highly motivated, friendly, possess integrity and of morale fiber. A asset to Falcon Towing. I would not hesitate to have this man respond to a call from my wife. or any lady if needed. I also thank AAA for their quick response and follow-up. read more

Marcelle was fantastic! I had a blowout on the 91 freeway, but managed to successfully limp off and pull into the parking lot of the Carl Jr's restaurant off of Central Ave. I called AAA and they said they'd contact a towing company to meet me. Five minutes later I get a call from Marcelle and less than ten minutes after that, he and his partner (whose name I've already forgotten... sorry) are pulling into the parking lot. It was like watching a NASCAR pit crew as they threw down the jack and as one guy's pulling off the flat, the other is cranking down the spare from stowage. Watch out for this company. They were assigned to me by AAA to tow my car. They failed to show up at the scheduled time or any time thereafter. They are very difficult to contact and when I finally did reach the company they lied to me and told me that AAA had reassigned the tow to another company and it wasn't their fault.
