Found this wonderful cafe on Yelp. I've lived in Fallbrook for 12 years and have never eaten here. So glad we tried it out. We're big fans of breakfast at any hour and their all-day breakfast menu fit the bill. I had the Fallbrook omelette with avocado, bacon, and jack cheese, with a chocolate chip pancake on the side. Love this place! It's old school, food is good and wait staff always friendly. Ample parking and never too long of a wait. Super casual atmosphere and one incredible Mushroom swiss avocado burger. Great little cozy diner with generous portions of food. Fish Fridays are great with an ayce fish and chips special for around $14 featuring some great tasting beer battered Cod. The review that said only 5 parking spots is just ridiculous AND WRONG and obviously didn't drive around the building like they claim. Seems like some people make crap up in their reviews. Great afternoon specials 2pm-5pm. Diner style, casual atmosphere. The Greek salad is really really good and large enough for 2 peeps. All you can eat Fish 'N Chips on Fridays. Decent portions. Went with the whole family for fathers day and the owner was rude and confrontational. We asked for a different server to avoid her and she came out and got into our face and proceeded to let us have it with both barrels-no one else thinks she is rude etc.... the food was iffy. My husband and I stopped in for breakfast yesterday. This is our kind of place. When we are traveling we eat where the locals eat. Great service and good food. Great little diner. I've been in here a couple times, the wait-staff is always running around rushed but they do check on you & make sure your coffee is full. Their famous for their chicken pot pie, I had it the first time I went in, it's not bad but nothing to write home about. Their french dip & french fries were pretty good and their coffee was good too. I haven't been in for breakfast yet but I bet the place rocks for breakfast as those little diner type places usually do. While in town tonight not knowing where to go out to eat we decided to take a chance at Fallbrook Cafe...we are so happy we did...we were pleasantly greeted, the restaurant was clean, and the food was ALL fresh and delicious. I had chicken pot pie and salad..amazingly tasty! The Homemade thousand island dressing was a treat. And don't forget the mint chip ice cream topped the night off wonderfully.
