Don't go!!!! Especially if you are a POC with kids. They treat their costumers like shit! And they think it's ok to do so! When I tried to find the responsible people to share my experience they simply blamed me and banned me from the store! My experience: I visited the Santa Rosa location with my five-year-old son. At one point, my son accidentally knocked over a box of Easter eggs. I asked him to pick them up and gave him a moment to do so, intending to help him finish cleaning up afterward. While he was doing that, I continued looking at products in the store. A store employee approached me. I do not know her name, but I am sure she can be identified based on her shift. She appeared to be in her early twenties, with straight black hair and a very slim build. She immediately began telling me that I needed to control my son and that anything he opened would have to be paid for. I told her that was completely fine and that I would pay for anything that was damaged. However, she continued speaking to me in a hostile and confrontational manner. She made comments suggesting that I was not a good mother, that I could not control my child, and that I had not read the store's rules. I calmly explained that I had already acknowledged responsibility for any damage and that I was handling the situation. Despite this, she continued speaking to me aggressively and disrespectfully. When I told her that I did not appreciate the way she was speaking to me, she replied that she did not appreciate the way I was speaking to her. However, she was the one who initiated the interaction in an aggressive tone. At that point, I decided to put down the items I had intended to purchase and leave the store. Instead of de-escalating the situation, she began telling me to leave the premises. To make matters worse, another employee approached and began yelling at me in Spanish, apparently assuming that I could not understand English. I found this both offensive and inappropriate, especially since I am not Hispanic. I felt humiliated and mistreated throughout this entire interaction. Afterward, I attempted to contact the store through WhatsApp and Messenger to discuss the incident, but I was blocked. I find this level of customer service completely unacceptable. This employee clearly lacks the professionalism and customer service skills required to work with the public, or she has not received adequate training. My son was deeply upset by the way we were treated that day, which made the experience even more disappointing. I have always recommended your Lakeport store to friends and acquaintances, and many of them became customers as a result. This was my first visit to the Santa Rosa location, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I am requesting a response from a manager, owner, or another responsible representative of the company, as well as a formal apology regarding the way my son and I were treated. Second time here. First time was this past Thursday when everything was $2. I wanted to check it out before I went back on Saturday for their 35 cents deals. There was more selection on Thursday, but it was worth it to wait for the cheapest day. There are multiple copies of the same items. Lots of items to sort through, like a treasure hunt. But, the downside is that it gets so crowded and some people have no manners at all while they're in the store. They'll cut in front of you, bump into you or your cart, block your way. WARNING: if you have ever used your card at the store. My daughter and I went a week ago, we used our debit cards. Then all sudden I started getting reoccurring declined charges from the bank. My card was locked, they all said Starbucks. My daughters got charged her $20. I was like where have we been together that we used our cards together. I came up with two stores. She got a new card I just kept mine locked. Then yesterday we went to falling prices again call mom I said I'm gonna use my card and see what happens. As soon as I walked out of the store and within 10 minutes I got I'll decline charge for 10.00 twice then jumped up to a 100 Twice then 95.00 and again this morning a 100.00 twice all for Starbucks. Occasional "finds" amid the piles, but definitely not easy to plow through the bins and crowds. My first visit was unplanned, on a Saturday, and I found a few cool things for .25 cents each. A pack of 30 masks, labeled N95 (probably expired, but still usable I think) and other things. I assumed the crush would be much worse as prices drop (as well as the selection) but I went on a Tuesday and still found the store was packed, with most of the bins filled with ordinary stuff--not many treasures that I could see. I'd recommend going in with an idea of what you actually need, while keeping an open mind. If you just grab things that look mildly interesting you may spend a lot of money on useless things. Amazing place it has a lot of things for great prices .. I buy to give to kids in need and families also and I spend from my own pocket no monitory help but this place has been very helpful, I've gotten gloves and warm sweaters and a lot of thermal cups for the kids that have none .. this place has a great staff and people who open things make it ridiculous and harder for the rest .. use your app and people like me who are following rules wont have such a hard time looking for things .. I will say the staff is on top of things and are very helpful and friendly! In all fairness, I have only been there once on a Saturday. At no fault of the company, inconsiderate people were pulling stuff out of the packages and then throwing the product back in the bins, which causes missing pieces and parts. These are brand new things. I was talking to an employee there, and she said she tries to keep an eye out for people who do this, stops them, and then makes them leave. I just wish people were more respectful. I heard about this store through a friend. They got some really nice things on other days, I also wish their hours during the week were open later. I Went to Falling Prices Santa Rosa , what a rip-off if you get the paid subscription . First you pay $9.99 a month for the subscription then pay extra(up to $12.00 dollars) to get a low number for your spot in line and it don't matter because you get no benefit from it because almost instantly they let everyone in. I was there the day before when I lost my keys. I have a tracker on them and it shows them to be there. I looked up The store hours and it said they close at t 2pm on Saturday the 10th. Well apparently the crew had hot dates that night because when I got there at 1:30 the door was locked and no one would even open the door so that I could get my keys. They are uneducated as to when it comes to service dogs. The clerk there decided very loudly and rudely made a scene and shamed me into leaving I stated I will be contacting an attorney who would not allow my service dog. Even though there is a notice in the door service dog were allowed. Question. When you have a very well behaved service animal who isn't make a peep can't be in their store but screaming balling children and kids running around screaming can be in there ? Came here to buy charity items for a church. Paid for my packed cart full of boxed merch and left. Went to my car I counted my items as I put them in my trunk. I realized I was overcharged for a few items. Went back inside and the manager lady says too bad shes not refunding me because I already left the store. Sorry I didn't double check the employee's work by pulling all my stuff out of my cart, block the entire line of people behind me and say wait let me check if you short changed me. Terribly flawed check out protocol at this store, one lady sloppily pre-counts the items in my cart without pulling anything out, hands me a sticky note with the number of items she counted, I hand it to the cashier and pay. It was apparent I was looked at as a low life trying to scam the store out of a few measly dollars. This place sucks anyway, nothing of value over $15 to max $18. I found used Halloween costumes disguised as new, boxed dirty used shoes that have "amazon return thanks for giving it a second life" on it, cute shirts that have random goo smeared on it, and expired food. read more

I've been there twice and both days was very hard to find anything that screamed a DEAL!!! Most items are $10 or less so you gotta hunt. I did find some Xmas stuff for next year. But overall very crowded and crazy people digging and grabbing stuff, lots of expired food open bags of pet food phone cases holiday decor. Either way today was my first day checking this place out and I was minding my own business and she comes up to my brother and I and says he can't "dig" in the bins. This was my first time going to Falling Prices. The store and prices are good overall, but let me tell you about costumer service. If you ever go, don't pay with Jessica. She is super rude person, people had already told me how rude she was, so when I went I was hoping not to get her and of course I did. I had worked as a costumer service before and I know how you supposed to treat people; no matter how your day is going. You're supposed to be nice or AT LEAST say hi, etc.. she's the opposite. As soon as I put my items on the counter, I decided to not take some of them. She told me that I couldn't take anything out, that what ever I had on the counter I had to pay, even if I decided I didn't wanted it. So I told her that I wasn't gonna pay for them, she was told me that this was the only time I could do that. That it was the rules Falling Prices had. So I told her that I didn't see the rules on the counter and she told me that if I wanted to see or hear the rules I had to be there at opening time, because she's not gonna be repeating the rules every time someone goes in the store. If that's her job than why complaint about it. There are so many people at the store that even if she yields the rules from the counter its impossible to hear her. I'm a costumer and I can go to the store whenever I felt like it, not whenever she's telling me. She was done counting the items and it was time to pay so I was going to do cash and card, and again she said with an attitude that if I wanted to use a card I had to pay more money with card, which I was fine with that. So the items I didn't wanted I had them in the cart and after I was done paying I was gonna put them back. Jessica with an attitude before I put the items I didn't want back was like "are you going to pay for those items". I totally ignored her and put everything back to a bin. She even told me if I wanted to call corporate to do it. So please if you're having an excellent day and are wanting to go to falling prices and don't want someone like her ruining your day, make sure don't pay with her. This store has been open about 4 weeks, and I've been there twice in that time. Went the first week, and stopped in again during week#2. Both times, I happened to go on a Thursday, so everything was $2.00. Falling Prices is good for someone who likes the bins at Goodwill, and digging thru lots of stuff. There are multiple bins all over the store that require digging if you want to see what's in there. The perimeter of the store is shelving units with a lot of boxed items( unopened). They don't let you open the boxes, but you can use the app on your phone to scan the QR code on each box. Personally, it's way too much trouble, considering what you might be getting. Prices for everything in the store drop to $1.00 on Fridays, and 25 cents for whatever is left on Saturday. If you resell cheap stuff, this might be your place. They also sell food with expired dates, so check before you buy. Don't know that I'll go again- not with the time and energy spent looking thru all the stuff. read more

Overall, I've had good experiences there. There's always something I can fine, usually. I've been there several times and have bought several things. But today, the experience wasn't so great. Checking out 10 minutes before closing, the gentleman working there kept grabbing my cart and grabbing things. I had a box with two items inside of it. He said they didn't belong in the box even though the woman read on the side the word "Shea" which is the ingredients in the hand cream. He kept talking as though I wasn't there. And taking the items out of the box. I said that they belonged in that box and had the company name written on it. Someone had opened it and I told them that there was an item missing. I'm familiar with this brand. He told me that I had to pay for them separately. I was not allowed to buy the box. I was holding onto the cart since I'm handicap and he jerks it from me and tells me my purse is still in the cart. I said I wanted to use it to carry the heavy items out. He told me they're closing even though I said I'm parked right outside the door in the handicap spot. I was forced to carry heavy items out the door and to my car. I really enjoy going to Falling Prices Santa Rosa and appreciate having a place like this open here that has both friendly and helpful staff as well as great finds with affordable prices! I appreciate all the staff's hard work and patience they put in each and every week even when it isn't always easy with people not following rules and remembering to be kind and respectful to other shoppers. This place is honestly so fun!! if you are not a fan of cluttered spaces you might say other wise the place is a little messy but only cause they get a lot of business of people rummaging through these bins everyday. I love the variety of various different things you can get here from coffee beans to party decorations! there is so much to find at this store i definitely recommend going here if you like thrift stores. read more
