I tried this place for the first time. I enjoyed the small family atmosphere here. The decor wasn't bad at all. I didn't have to wait for a table. I ordered a burger and also a Patty melt. The sandwiches came out cooked properly. The reason for the four stars is because I felt the patty melt was missing some flavor. It just wasn't there. But it wasn't horrible. read more

Falls family restaurant was very cute and quaint. It was not very crowded so we were seated immediately and our waitress came and got our drink order within a minute. It took very little time for her to come and take her order and not very long to get the food. The staff was very friendly and courteous and the only time we had to wait for anything at all just to get the check at the end. I don't necessarily mind that because I'm not always a fan of when the waitress drops the check off halfway through your meal or when you've just barely started telling you that there's no rush. Prefer they wait in case I want dessert and they don't have to rewrite the check. Everything was good except for the potatoes. My omelette, while smaller than I was anticipating, was quite delicious. There's the perfect amount of feta to add that creamy saltiness to my Greek omelette. my toast was perfectly buttered impaired well with my omelette. The potatoes I felt tasted very old and either overcooked in the oil or undercooked. You know there's that consistency where it's gone past crispy and it's now just absorbing oil. I didn't think they taste very good either. I ate them, because it's what I do. My fiancé had a croissant sandwich that she quite enjoyed and the bite that I had of it was very good. The meat and the egg were perfect. So all in all I would say about 80% of everything was great. There is a decent likelihood that I will return. read more

Haven't been here in years so my family and I decided to try it again. My husband and daughter got sandwiches which were small and the bread was burnt. They came with chips that looked like they probably were recycled from those who didn't eat them. To get a side of fries was $5 and onion rings were $8. The pickle my husband had on his plate looked like it was nibbled on. I had pancakes that were just meh. My bill was $33 and my husband and daughter were STILL hungry when we left. In for lunch yesterday. I'll admit I could eat breakfast food 24-7-365. Just felt like an IMO letter Monday. Settled in with the Goofy omelette. It's the place to bring grandma, bring the kids, get together with friends, and it's just generally a good gathering place. It's also a great place to listen to the table next to you - you'll catch up with the gossip at Olmsted, local churches, etc! The food is good, served quickly and well priced. I've had lunch here a couple times while working up the street a bit. It's a nice little place. I say a group of train enthusiasts (about a dozen) eating together one day, so I suppose it's pretty good for groups. I had a sandwich and some soup both of which were pretty good, and the price was very reasonable. The servers where kind and the whole trip only took about 30 minutes, though i'm sure they would have allowed me to linger and sip coffee if that had been on the agenda for the day. All in all no complaints, I'll go back for sure. Update: Went again 1/31/17. Had the fish sandwhich and a cup of cream of potato soup. Upgrading 1 star. A very unfriendly restaurant. I travelled all day from Massachusetts and arrived at 7:30 pm. I simply wanted dinner. The hostess told me I couldn't eat there because they were closing at 8 (30 minutes later!). No wonder no one seems to ever be there. From the reviews I have read, I guess they were good years ago. I like this little spot. It has the family diner feel for sure. It's right in the middle of town in a little plaza. The inside is a little "vintage" and it has tables and booths of all sizes everywhere. The food was great. I ordered the goofy omelet and home fries with a side of bacon. When the host realized everyone was ordering water, we brought an entire pitcher CONS Ordered the Meatloaf and mashed potatoes. They smothered both in gravy to the point you could not even taste the food. The peas that came with it did not look appetizing. They offered our table rolls and butter AFTER we were mostly done with our meal. The child's meal was over priced at $5 once we realized it was just a small bowl of mac and cheese with no side. Not competitive pricing for the area. I am picky about my comfort food. For me, nice staff and nice surroundings do not make up for bad food. I would not eat here again. read more

Haven't been here in probably a year because somewhere midway between the 2+ years of this pandemic this restaurant closed at three or four and I used to go there pretty often for dinner and I couldn't do that anymore. Last week I happen to be in the area on my way to great Northern Mall and it was lunchtime. And the train was across the road at a dead stop. So I walked into the restaurant, was greeted immediately and seated immediately. And just like always they had a spectacular menu with billions of choices at ridiculously low prices and extremely large portions and that hasn't changed in the year that I haven't been able to get on . the server was pretty great and fast. Food was pretty great though I've never had a Hawaiian tuna melt before, it was an interesting choice I ate my meal, the train moved and on I went this is still a place not to miss the owner is almost always on site and you can talk to him at any time read more

This place was great! What can I say... food was good, prices were fair, staff was friendly... what more could you ask for? I took my 2 year old there and ordered him a cheeseburger with a cup of fruit - don't order the fruit if you don't like melon cause its 90% melon. Luckily he does. Usually he eats about half his burger - this time he ate the whole thing... and two mozzarella sticks. I had the patty melt. Delicious. Cooked to order, nice and juicy, thick toasty bread. My only complaint is the side was chips and a VERY small portion of chips. If you are fry person, or need a side item with your meal, don't get the standard chip side. The pickle was also very pickley... overwhelmingly sour. But it was a big pickle. The mozzarella sticks were good and I think they came with their homemade pasta sauce, which was very good. All of this and we were out the door under $20 (not including tip). The other big thing - our food was out about 5 minutes after we ordered... hot fresh and delicious. They burn 'em and turn 'em here... great job! We shall return soon! All day breakfast served too! read more

Really great, quick, and cheap for breakfast. Zachary, Kate, and myself went to breakfast here on Sunday. It's a hopping place. Even though it was busy, we were sat in 2 minutes. I got the garden vegetable omelet and hot chocolate. The veggies were super fresh. This reminded me very much of my R.I.P. favorite, Four Seasons Diner Restaurant. It's good that places like this still exist and that Denny's have not taken over the entire universe...yet. read more
