My anxiety is about a 9. Not just from pain etc. Also my teeth are not the best and I feel embarrassed. Instead of judgment or silence. I received understanding and empathy. Through out the procedure, my pain was constantly there first concern. I was given multiple additional shots as they said, it turns out my canine was a "hot" tooth. The chair massaged me and Amber brought me a glass of water and a heated neck wrap. She even brought my wife back, who was waiting in the lobby; while I was getting numb. She was a very proactive and thoughtful assistant. Doctor Cook was a complete professional and her chair side manner was top shelf. This dental office is set apart from the rest and above them all, in it's own league. If you are on the fence and putting off going to the dentist because of anxiety. Take my advice and call them and you will thank them like I did !

This is the only services they provide so if you need anything further I recommend you going to Marquette School of Dentistry which I am also a patient of. The prices for these services are dirt cheap. I just got my teeth cleaned & it only cost me $10 without x-rays. So, if your in need of such services I would totally recommend going here. The students & instructors are VERY thorough & very friendly & are willing to answer all of your questions & address all of your daily dental needs. The work they do there is very good & is double checked by the instructors the only thing I can say is bad is that if you don't have a lot of time & or patience this is not your thing. The appointments usually take up to 4 hours & you might have to come back for another visit or two but like I said they are very good at what they do & very inexpensive.

Kim is also very nice at the front, though I haven't built up as nice as a rapport with her yet. Stevie is also the best! Currently my doctor is Dr. Anderson and my hygienist is Stevie. Dr. Anderson is nice and straight forward, and explains things very well for me. I've mostly only had normal check ups and cleaning since I've been seeing her and haven't had any procedures done. But she is sure-fingered and confident, and I would be happy to get any treatment done with her. Well, I guess I won't be happy to get anything done with my teeth... Cleaning is like pulling teeth as it is. lol. Stevie is another reason I keep coming back here every 6 months. Despite her having only one day available out of a week! My dream smile has never been the product as I was promised and Now that Dr. Michael Giolovin has left the practice and the The dentists at South Shore group claim no responsibility for my ongoing problem with my teeth falling off. Their solution? They say it's bite issue and they simply want to wash their hands of their responsibilities sending me away in tears and without a plan to manage and fix the job of fixing my teeth as the group guaranteed on consultation. On my last visit 7/25 a co-owner and dentist, Christian Harteu gave me a letter sending me to see yet another specialist, leaving me with loose veneers and no one wants to be responsible for Dr. Mike's work now that he has moved his practice to Florida. All of them are polite, professional, and friendly. Considering a dentist's office is the LAST place you want to be they definitely go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. Both doctor and tech were open about each step without being intimidating. They are genuinely concerned for your comfort and conduct themselves effectively without being heavy handed. Booking an appointment is great. They send email confirmations with calendar entries for convenience. Rescheduling is a breeze. After leaving from a tooth extraction I was unexpectedly given a "gift from the tooth fairy" which included a custom thank you card and a gift certificate for a treat. They told her that a 51-year-old woman "takes longer to heal." Are you kidding me? That's not just dismissive -- it's irresponsible. Since then, we've called three more times, and no one has followed up or shown any concern. My wife and I have been patients here for over three years, but this is the final straw. This place clearly does not care about their patients once the procedure is done. We're now heading to an emergency dental clinic because they won't help. Gina always answered my questions and corners with a smile. They make a great team.
