They did a hack job that I had to go to see an Endodontist to redo a root canal. Then they told me a tooth had to be extracted and could not repair the bridge. When the excavated for repair they commented they'd never seen anything like it (slip comment from the Hygienist not in the report).So $1000 later (just this incident) I'm no where ahead. It's like Russian Roulette on what doctor you get. Dentistry has become a pure profit racket. Their concern is covering their own arse and billability. Do I sound a little upset? Do not go here for anything other than a cleaning. I will say the assistants in the office have always been fine.

I was given an insurance estimate and told that there was a $325.00 scan that would be done of my head that is not covered by the insurance. I told the staff during the call I did not want this. On the day of the visit they did it anyways. They also did numerous x-rays of the tooth. I was billed for the scan and the insurance did not cover it! I received an updated bill for another $190 evaluation amount. I have been gathering my paperwork to refute the $325.00 and received a collection notice. I called the office to discuss. I was told today that if I did not do the scan the DDS would not have treated me!! I asked why was I not told about this on the original call. And, there is an issue with my bridge and I need a new one. So this office is billing patients for a service that is NOT approved by the insurance. If they are doing x-rays why do they need a scan of your whole mouth when they are working on pone tooth? Not happy and will not go here again or recommend this office.

Outside of getting use to the various smells that the procedure produced, my experience was that this was easier than having a cavity filled. Dr. Philip Cabrera was wonderful; he was thoughtful and clear with his communication. I have a rare sensory disorder that his team attended to with care and compassion. And, from the time the Novocaine wore off to now, I have had NO pain or swelling!! (I saw Dr. Cabrera at 255 Park Ave #700, Worcester, MA).

My son was told he had an infection in his implant and was given antibiotics. When the antibiotics…read moredidn't work they gave him more and told him via their implant specialist that there was bone loss and his implant was going to fall out. They offered to re due the implant for him. Took him to the periodontist that did the implant and all it was, was a piece of tooth that had been a remnant from an extraction working its way out and not an infection at all. His implant was perfectly fine the Dr. simply plucked the piece of tooth out and all is well. They were either idiots or they wanted us to pay thousands more for another implant. Never go there again.
