The new carpeting spruced the place up nicely, too. We thought it was the death knell when the movie theater shut down. But to our pleasant surprise, it reopened and is even better than before. Maybe it's too soon to call this mall out yet. Hopefully, better things are in store for it. The hair salons are reasonable and easy to get into. The nail salon has all the latest styles (including the fabulous cat-eye), and Savona's pizza is the best around. Maybe there is a second act for this mall. Here's to hoping it sees better days ahead!

No stores. Dead Mall…read more Don't Come Here expecting to shop, You won't. The only open stores is a Target a Movie theater and 3 fitness places. The only good thing about this mall is the movies. They have a NCG cinnima. The Theaters all have really comfy seats that recline!

I figured i'd stop in, leave my lil doggie out front with the hubby and scurry back out. After making the little jaunt to the store, the owner warmly welcomed well behaved dogs! In we go, pup in tow! The "peek" turned out to be an experience that touched all of my senses. So many carefully curated fun, whimsical, & necessary items. I love the fact that the store is appealing to all, but definitely tickled my Gen X senses! Cat earrings that I just had to get, absolutely! There's a fun downstairs section that's filled with unique and retro things for the home! (Pink princess telephone, i'm looking at you!) When I came in, although I found a product (with a barcode) that I took a picture of by the brand and with the features I was looking for (iHome with Qi-wireless charging), when I went to find the price on or near the package, none existed. Pass onto a few days later - a couple days after Christmas - I went back in -hoping the product would still be there. Only that one box was on the shelf, but the outer box was damaged. I had done the research on the product through websites such as Amazon and Walmart in the meantime, but knew I had to take a chance with finding it offline. The product was in one piece and the box was repairable (but damaged). After bringing it up acknowledging the "worst case price", when they told me it was on sale for $20 off, I was shell-shocked and paid lickety-split. But then they decided that this earned me a $10 Kohl's Cash certificate. (Was that to make up for the damaged box issue and the aggravation that would be caused by it?) They told me it was good starting in January (and I never did go back to retrieve something with it), and because I'm boycotting the paper bags, I asked for my receipt and out the door, I went - product in hand - happy I got what I was looking for - on a whim.

After 15 minutes of trying to clear up connection issues, I'm told I should go to the website for information about adjusting my order. I very frustrating. The live person I spoke with told me changes can only be made 15 minutes after placing an online order. But when my order arrives, I can go to my nearest Kohl's and do an exchange or return for a fee. Just an aside ...I received a $100 gift card from my Medicare Advantage provider for Kohl's. Should have taken the Home Depot. They have their s**t together.

I spend thousands of dollars at this chain annually and NEVER had a bad experience there...until today. I wanted to return a swimsuit I had bought there exactly two weeks back. I did not have the receipt but the tags were all perfectly in place. it was obviously not worn and in the same condition I had bought it in. I got up to the register to return the suit and buy a few other items. as I did not have the receipt the cashier looked up my purchase using my credit card. First, she told me I could not return a swimsuit after one week. I explained I'd been ill and their return policy is one month. and frankly, there was no disclosure of this when I purchased the suit. The I was told I could not return the suit as it was "missing" the little tape that is supposed to keep the suit hygienic in the crotch area. I explained there had been no sanitary tape there. She called the manager on duty, who I will not name but he was a sad, angry man. He told her to not let the return go through due to the missing tape. I asked for him to come speak with me. He appeared and was nasty from the start. I asked his name and he gave me a smart aleck reply and also refused to give me the name of his district manager when it became apparent he was not going to listen to reason. I tried to explain the tape was missing when purchased and was told that every single bathing suit in Marshall's has that tape. We went back and forth but he refused to listen to me.He made several snarky remarks and walked away. He also said it was a NYS law to have the tape. It is not. He then rudely stood over me as I made my transaction as if I was some kind of problem. BTW the darn suit cost all of $19.99. After I was done at the register I walked to the swimsuit area. In just a few minutes I pulled 20 suits with no tape. The manager walked by and I showed him the 20 suits, including entire groups of the same style all with no tape. He again, refused to listen to me. I asked, how can you sell a suit without tape and expect it to be returned with tape? He made a rude remarks asking if I'd return my panties! I voiced that I was getting mad. He literally told me that the policy of the store is to not take suits back and suggested I had even worn the suit despite its pristine condition. How can a store not disclose their return policy, sell a suit without tape, and expect it to be returned with it?! Just as an FYI, I did not remove any tapes. The store has cameras and I found so many in a few minutes I didnt even think about it! Anyway, this manger said I was mad because I wasn't " getting my way" and then said I was "insane" and he was going to kick me out of "HIS"store. I left. I did tell this manager that would go to social media. And here I am. I never used profane language. I did try to hand him the unracked suits but he refused to take them and I placed them on a clothing rack. I am fuming about the treatment I received today. It is really such a shame because all I wanted was a store credit for an item that didn't fit properly.
