It has kind of a weird layout so things I was looking for had a hard time finding. I usually use app but wasn't a long visit so probably that would help. Been a target shopper for a really really long time. They are good with changing with the times. Please this year don't put pride items somewhere back in the corner.

Have you ever walked into a grocery store, outside of a national emergency, and found the entire…read morefreezer section completely empty? Walk into the Northfield Target on any given day and that's the gamble you're taking. I shop at both Northfield and Glendale pretty regularly, and for whatever reason Northfield just does not run like Glendale. The freezers being mostly empty isn't some weird one-time thing. It happens all the time. There are also multiple products Target says this store carries, and usually even shows as "in stock," that I've tried to buy over and over and have literally never even seen on the shelf (and the Shipt drivers cannot find either). I've gotten to the point where I don't really trust the inventory in the app for this location anymore. So Sunday I figured I'd call before driving over to see if they actually had any frozen food. Apparently that's not an option either. I called eight times between 5:58 and 6:12 PM. Each time I let it ring for 1 to 2 minutes until the call eventually disconnected on its own. Nobody answered a single call. I'm attaching the screenshot because eight calls to an open Target in 14 minutes without one person picking up the phone is kind of insane. Order Pickup is the same kind of experience. I've stood in the pickup area for 10+ minutes with nobody there to help while employees are walking around, talking to each other, etc. I understand being short staffed. I understand corporate cutting payroll. What I don't understand is how nobody notices a customer has been standing at Order Pickup for 10 minutes, or a phone has been ringing repeatedly, or that entire sections of grocery are routinely empty. And I'm not expecting every employee to somehow compensate for Target cutting payroll. Leadership still has to run the store with the resources they have, set expectations and hold people accountable. Someone has to answer the phone. Someone has to be paying attention to Order Pickup. Someone has to notice when inventory is this consistently bad. Maybe I sound like a cranky millennial who has been running retail businesses for too long, but I know Target isn't paying people to stand around and chat while multiple customers are standing there looking around, waiting for someone to help them. Being tightly staffed is one thing. Having employees available and nobody stepping in is something else. Let's cross train. Maybe there are things happening behind the scenes that customers don't know about, but after enough visits I genuinely wonder what the leadership issue is at this particular location. Glendale doesn't operate like this, which is why I have a hard time just chalking it up to Target being Target. Why can Glendale manage to run like a Target and Northfield can't?

I need to use the facilities as I have a medical condition that requires me to react quickly when having to use the bathroom. The unprofessional attendants told me that the bathrooms were closed and also stated that it was for no reason that they were closed. I asked what do you do when you have paying customers that need to use the bathroom, they laughed and said Well, you can go down to Dominos and use the bathroom, there is a law that states that you have to provide and make accommodations for customers with medical conditions in the State of Colorado, as well as the city of Denver. I then went to the front and asked for a manager. The immature and unprofessional cashier named Alan asked what I needed with the manager, and when I explained the situation, he laughed and said, "we ain't breakin no laws". Then, when the manager did come up, she began laughing and said I know what I can and can't do in my store, she then proceeded to start screaming at me across the store and continued to laugh. When I told her that I was going to report them to the Department of Health, she cancelled my transaction, and upon leaving the store, the security guard told me to F@#$ off and don't come back again. I called the corporate office and filed a complaint with their customer service team, and was told that I would receive a call within 3-5 business days, which never happened, and when I called to follow up on the complaint, I was told that their corporate office would not be returning my call due to the nature of the situation. I would think that their corporate office would want to resolve any issues with a paying customer who spends thousands of dollars a year with them. I guess I won't be shopping at Ross any longer. Sad and poor customer service!! I also have this all recorded on audio!!

So I told him I'd return the ones I just got. I then went straight to the customer service desk, without even having left the store mind you) and explained to the middle-aged white woman (wish I had gotten her name smh) there the situation. She sighed loudly and said, "well great now we'll have to throw away all this stuff!" And I, somewhat taken aback by her snide tone, said in response, "oh no I'm sorry, but I haven't even left the store with that stuff? I just bought it literally a minute ago?" And she practically snarled at me- "well that doesn't matter. It's policy that I have to throw these away now." So now I hang my head in shame and quietly apologize again. And THEN the entire time she's scanning the pizzas, every few seconds she's muttering stuff like- "unbelievable" "just ridiculous" "I can't believe this" while I awkwardly stand there. I mean what did she want me to do, take home nine pizzas I literally didn't have room for (bc of the nine pizzas that my bf just bought that were already in there)?! I mean maybe her vitriol was actually being directed at the store, but it sure as hell felt personal to me! after she was done scanning I just quietly asked her if that was all and once again she harshly told me "yes." I then I scurried out of the store as fast as I could!
