We came in and got four ice cream's for my family. They're essentially five dollars a scoop which things about average nowadays I am it was about $20 and some change. The ice cream itself was good. We've been wanting to come here for the longest! Did not disappoint. My only complaint is it was a tad more expensive than I expected. I asked to sample every flavor the worker filled a $7 bowl with a small amount of each. Worth it! My favorite was the peanut butter cup. My husband ordered the brownie sundae, and it was incredible. They have a great variety of ice cream. You can get it in a bowl, sugar cone, or waffle cone. I asked for a cup because I got two scoops of ice cream and they were huge. They can also make any flavor into a milkshake or your can get a special shake that comes in a mason jar. Root beer floats are also available. It's a very kid friendly place. Tried them a few weeks ago. This is probably gonna be one of my shortest reviews as there's nothing fantastic to say except price and location. Double scoop in a waffle cone for less than $6 is awesome! Flavors change regularly. If you're looking for a wide variety then you'll need to go elsewhere. Do plan to take my g'kids here next time they're in town as the little play area does look inviting. Seating inside is decent. It would be nice if they had a little more seating outside as it would be nice to relax and enjoy on a warm summer evening. read more

Great idea and the only ice cream parlor in the Radcliff area. There's extra parking in the rear of building. There's benches for seating outside on the deck to hang out with family and friends. And an area in front of the building for games such as cornhole. There is about 16 ice cream flavors and the parlor switches out flavors weekly, so you have to visit often to try. There is waffle cones, sugar cones, waffle bowls, build your own sundae, banana splits, nachos, hot dogs just to name a few menu items. Outstanding ice cream & very fresh food, especially the potato soup! The ice cream is an old fashioned recipe from an Ohio family, and their flavors are unique & simply divine! My favorites include elephant ear - cinnamon flavored pastry in vanilla ice cream, buckeye- chocolate peanut butter candies in peanut butter ice cream with fudge swirl, blueberry cheesecake, peach, and everything else! They have a rewards program based on purchases, and they are very agreeable to work with schools for fundraising events. They have games both inside and out that encourage unplugged play. The employees...two very nice young ladies...were very friendly & knowledgeable about any questions we had from how the ice cream was made to how the flavors available were chosen. Fantastic establishment! Two lovely employees, Aniyah and Joanna, overheard our conversation about the building belonging to my bff's grandparents, who were the original owners. It was emotional for her and right away, she was told that her order would be covered. Additionally, Aniyah took the time to call the owner to see if my bff would be permitted to see something specific that she recalled about the home. The owner took the time to speak to my friend on the phone and made the accommodation. This is truly a great example of the family environment that is promoted by this business. Staff was very very nice and let us try any flavor we wanted, was not impressed by location though. They say this is a family fun ice cream place but they have games set up about 12 feet from the main road. Thankfully my kids are well behaved not to run into the road but not all kids are, especially younger children. They should really put up a chain link fence. I also think they need to push down their Icecream into the cone instead of setting a scoop on top. The Ice cream just rolled right off when taking a bite. read more

The ice cream is pretty good. My husband got the elephant ear in a cone, he said it was really good. I got a scoop of butter pecan,and they gave my 8 month old a small scoop of vanilla for free. The atmosphere was great for a small place. They had games and books that were free to use for guest and welcomed us to stay as long as we'd like. Not a bad place. read more

Although I live down the block from this place, I have to say, this is some of THE BEST ice cream around! It's high quality ice cream. Far better than most the ice cream I have tried in Louisville and Elizabethtown (Etown). I've been going here since the day it opened. It was tough for them to manage the crowd at the start and ice cream was taking a while to get delivered, but now they seem to be a well oiled machine and ice cream gets delivered very quickly these days. They always have different flavors available every time I've gone, so each time you go there, there may be a new flavor. The Peach and the Banana Cream Pie will always keep me coming back week after week! 1 try and you are hooked! They also keep adding fun things for people to do while there. They have ladder ball and corn hole games and I think they have a kids jumpy house for the little ones, as they have a lot of grass and trees around the property. With a super awesome staff, a fantastic selection of flavors and absolutely amazingly delicious ice cream this place is a must-see and must stop at. My work family recently made the move to Fort Knox from Fort Belvoir in Northern Virginia. They are living off post in ETown. We were looking for a fun place to bring the kids for a treat and this was it hands down. Activities for the kids to do outside made it super welcoming. The owner Michelle and her husband were super helpful on our first visit through here and we came back one more time before I head home. I'm a little jealous that my boss and the kids get to stay here and enjoy this on a regular basis. The flavor combinations are awesome and they're always trying out new mixes. I think my favorite is definitely the lemon cheesecake. The kids were overjoyed with the birthday cake and mint chocolate chip ice cream. And the butter pecan and cashew is a nutty masterpiece. Family Fun Ice Cream Parlor (formally known as Family Fun Cafe and Ice Cream) opened on May 29, 2023. The mission is to provide a family-friendly place to help people connect and create memories with fun activities and unique ice cream dishes.

Meet the Business Owner: Michelle M.

Michelle is a hard-working and loving mom of 6 children, a former youth pastor, a foster mom, and a community leader. Michelle has served in the Radcliff community for the last 25 years. In 2016, she used a property with an acre of land to start an ice cream parlor using only $800. Michelle took her ice cream parlor which started with nothing and it has now grown to include staff, more services, activities, and a bigger facility in 2022. Her goal with Family Fun is to provide a place for people to connect and create memories with fun activities and unique ice cream dishes.
