We have had recent experiences buying avocados and other items that were spoiled. We are tired of it and we are going to start using Smart and Final and other stores instead. Do they really think deceiving customers and keeping spoiled food out is going to keep the store open?

This is a huge supermarket and that's their focus, undistracted by electronics or automotive or toys. This is a grocery store, first and foremost. Produce, dairy, meats, household cleaning, beer and deli. Lots and lots of food. I thought the prices were excellent. Could the place be a little less "warehouse"? Sure, but if you want to pay more then there are stores that will give you a smoother/brighter/cleaner shopping experience. I wanted inexpensive and found it. And all she would say is "Im sorry" "Im the only one here" but why were the five or six other customers served before me, the one who ordered first???? And I still don't know because she refused to say why so I am left to assume it had to do with something about me she didnt like. I went shopping with my mom we were down the meat aisle when i saw a worker pushing a cart full of heavy boxes coming towards us and i tried stopping it with my hand because he was about to run into us he didn't stop and he hit my mom, my mom fell and dropped her items that she had in a basket. My mom could have been really hurt if those boxes fell on top of her. Another worker who looks considerably younger was quite kind to me and helpful in finding products I was looking for. The employee attempted to charge me a $50 cleaning fee, claiming that "U-Haul reviewed pictures and decided to charge it." What made the situation frustrating was that I politely asked for a broom so I could clean the minor dust myself in literally one minute, but the employee refused. It honestly felt like the goal was simply to collect an extra $50 fee rather than resolve the issue reasonably. I understand charging customers for excessive dirt or damage, but this was nowhere near that level. The truck was otherwise clean and well maintained. Customers should be treated fairly and not pressured into unnecessary charges over something so minor. Very disappointing experience

I parked the Sprinter van in the area between the Walmart and the grocery store with two or three other motorhomes. It was mostly quiet until the stores closed, then it was completely quiet.
