Their shoes and bags are of really good quality; and if it's been a few years since your last visit, stop by to notice how much they have improved. Just prior to walking into ALDO, I subjected myself to the chaos that is the Macy's shoe department. The customer service, staffing, and cleanliness at Macy's continues to suffer. ALDO, however, is able to provide their customers with a much better overall experience. I was assisted by two associates on my last visit, Lisa and Jackson. Jackson checked for my shoe size in the back and returned quickly enough to ensure I remained interested. Lisa greeted me immediately when I walked in the door and was full of suggestions, as she followed my direction and taste in accessories -never did I feel cramped or pressured. And what I've also noticed is how sharp their men's shoes are. They have a real classic look. Shopping for shoes and other accessories shouldn't feel like a chore or a long drawn out process. I know people may be initially surprised when they hear my newest bag is from ALDO, but yes quality is quality and it's GORGEOUS. I can't wait to see what their fall collection looks like.

I brought my husband in to get his feet scanned. Joseph helped scan his feet and then picked out 3 pairs for my husband to try on and asked him how each pair felt and what he liked/didn't like about each one. He thoroughly explained the difference between the pairs and made sure that my husband was thoroughly happy with the pair he picked. He also asked if we were interested insoles and socks and added these to our purchase. We came close to closing and he didn't make us feel rushed at all. He was also helping another woman at the same time but made sure that both us and the other woman had the attention we needed. At the end, he rang us up, carried our bag and walked us to the door. 11/10 service! Joseph is patient, knowledgeable and a joy to work with. The Westfield location is lucky to have such a great employee!

So whenever I get a chance to visit one of their stores in person, it's always a fun experience. This particular location is located in New Jersey. It's not too far from Interstate 22. LL Bean is located in the northwest corner of the parking lot. It's a small outdoor shopping center and you can't miss it, due to the large lettering outside of the building. This store is average in size when compared to their larger locations. They don't carry kayaks, but they do carry camping gear, including tents. You'll find a nice assortment of travel cups/mugs that keep your drinks nice and warm. They have backpacks to suit the needs of avid campers. Their clothing selection changes with the seasons. Most of their clothes were geared to the Spring season. They did have some nice jackets and vests that were on sale. I bought a beautiful brown coat that is perfect for mild Spring weather. I also bought some stickers and magnets that I haven't been able to find on their website. LL Bean honors teachers by providing us with a 10% discount on your purchase. You can fill out the form online or present a current teacher ID. If you are a retired teacher, you can still get the discount if your teaching license is still active. The people at LL Bean are passionate about the company. They are often avid outdoorsmen and women. They know their products well and can offer good advice if you have questions regarding an item. LL Bean can be a little pricey, but just keep an eye out for sales. They are best known for their bean boots, which are a high quality duck boot that keeps your feet dry. I was able to select a couple of pairs of custom shoe strings for my duck boots. LLL Bean will always be one of my favorite stores. I always get compliments for the sweaters that I buy from their stores. They are rather unique and are a real eye catcher when worn out in public. You really can't go wrong with LL Bean. We had a very positive service experience in the shoe department. The sales associate was helpful and patient, grabbing us a few similar boot options to try, beyond what we asked for. She didn't mind that we put the boots we loved on hold and came back to purchase them before leaving the mall. We made sure that she got credit for the sale. We had a great experience in the mens' denim department as well - the employees were really helpful in explaining the styles and sizing of the various brands. We also purchased a bag in the contemporary section - the sales associate there was actually pushy and salesy, not someone I'd normally want to work with or support, but we needed the gift so made the interaction short and moved on. Overall we enjoyed our shopping experience at Nordstrom, and we'll definitely return when we're in the area. If you don't live near a Nordstrom, they offer free shipping and free returns.
