Nothing beats a family owned pizza parlor especially Asian owned and you can't tell me otherwise. I would like to call myself a pizza connoisseur because I've had my fair share in my time lol. So much blood, sweat and tears (I swear it's not in the food or drinks!) has gone into revamping this place up! It used to be called Papa's Pizzeria. The place is sort of hidden, but that's okay because the smell of fresh pizza will lead you straight to the entrance. I was recommended into getting the Famous Chicken specialty pizza, the Italian pepperoni bread sticks and bbq wings!Let me tell you, it DID NOT disappoint. The pizza was juicy, flavorful and I didn't need to drench it into any condiments! The pepperoni bread sticks and bbq wings were super delicious as well. The menu is a pretty decent size and has a lot of different varieties of pizza, but I didn't see any gluten free or vegan options! I'm from the Elk Grove and I wouldn't mind coming out here for some amazing pizza, to support locals and to have a great time. At no point in time did I feel unwanted or disrespected by any of the staff or the people who were inside. This place has so much room to grow and I cannot wait for what the future has in store for Famous Pizza! Make sure to come out and give this place a shot because you won't be disappointed. read more

I've eaten here 3 times in the past month, lol. Every time it's really good. I always get the thin crust, but just know that it's not super thin. Anyway, I have no idea what the regular crust is like. The pic is a pepperoni and olive, and a garlic and jalapeño. Both XL. My only "complaint" here is that the garlic wasn't spread around very well, and it could've used more jalapeños. But it's not worth losing a star over. Next time I'll just ask for better dispersal, and then order extra jalapeños. But yeah, good pizza, nice location, and the pizza is always done super quick. Love it. read more

My husband and I ordered pizza and we wanted to try somewhere new. I found Famous Pizza on Yelp and placed an order online. The email confirmation I got said our order would be ready in 15-30ish minutes. My husband went to get it and they are a little difficult to find, but the employees were friendly and the restaurant itself was pretty neat. Pool tables, arcade games, air hockey, very cool. The pizza and garlic cheese bread are great, the dough isn't super dense. And although it was cold because we took a minute to pick it up (no fault of the employees), it was still really good! read more

So I had ordered a medium BBQ chicken pizza with one side no bacon and the & the side with no bacon, no onions, and add pineapple. I tried to give this place a try. The first time I ordered i asked for pepper flakes and cheese packets. They of course forgot to bring them. That was ok I understand things happen. The other night I had family over and decided to give them a try again. I ordered with special instructions for pepper flakes and cheese packets. After an hour of waiting I called them and they didn't know where or what happened to my order. After 2 hours they finally arrived and still forgot the pepper and cheese packets. The pizza is simply salty. Regardless of topping all you can taste is how salty it is, no real different flavors as the red sauce is also salty so all you can taste is how salty it is. Maybe if the sauce was more tangy or acidic it would balance the toppings. read more

I came here for the first time for my daughter baseball the pizza was really good so we're the cheese sticks. My kids even liked the pizza I even have a really picky eater and she has loved Little Ceaser's pizza over any other ones when she had this place she says she likes this pizza better. So that's a plus but also the customer service was really good and the place was actually really clean kinda wish they had more to offer like drink wise but I understand that it is a newly opened business so hopefully the longer it stays open they will add more to the place. read more

I've easily spent over $1,000 here over the past few years. They are reasonably priced and pretty good. They were our go-to place until they cut our household off. I ordered pizza in June from them and they forgot to charge us. I actually didn't notice there were seven kids running around and I was having beers with neighbors. They messed up the order gave us an extra pepperoni, but it was fine the kids who wanted plain cheese just picked off the pepperoni without too much grumbling - not the end of the earth. Later that evening they called my phone to let me know they forgot to charge me and I didn't answer. A couple of days later, I checked the voicemail and it was Famous Pizza asking to be paid. I called them up and paid them with a credit card over the phone (see photo). It may have been a week later, I can't remember. The kid I was talking to was appreciative and friendly and all was good. A couple of weeks later I called them to order pizza again. I have neighbors and kids over, people are in the pool and I am kind of occupied. I place my order and then they tell me they won't deliver until I pay them the $60+ bucks from the prior order. I tell them that I had already taken care of that. The young lady on the phone asks for proof. I start to try to look on my phone at my credit card app, but there are kids running around and I find it annoying, so I tell them I don't appreciate lack of trust and request for unspecified proof and hang up. I go ahead and order pizza from Giant Pizza on Broadway. They are cheaper and the pizza is fine, everyone is happy. Then, a couple of months later, my wife calls and orders from Famous Pizza. They take the order and she gets off the phone. They then call my phone and ask me to pay them again. I tell them I already paid them and they should check their records. They then refuse to fill out our order, so I swear at them and hang up (I know... not the best thing in the world to yell at 20 something-year-old kids doing what their manager tells them - not a high point). We again, order from Giant Pizza on Broadway. So anyhow, their pizza is fine, their prices are fine, but they are ridiculous people. I'd definitely go there again if they weren't pricks. read more

As always, we were looking for a new pizza place to try out, and found famous pizza. There weren't many reviews, but the reviews it had were all good, so decided to give it a try. The restaurant was good size, clean and they even had a pool table. I normally get some kind of specialty pizza or combo, but this time I got 2 medium 2 toppings because it was a special they had. One was pepperoni and Canadian bacon, the other was chicken and bacon with white sauce. Both pizzas were good, and I didn't end up with a stomach ache later that night, so I would definitely go back. I saw a couple people inside that had ordered pizza with several toppings like a combo, and it looked really good, so next time I will try out one of their specialty's. read more
