The service is outstanding! My waitress was friendly and smiled. They were very attentive. The food is awesome! The ambiance is casual and festive! I will be back.

Staff welcomed us when we entered. Seating inside, a covered/enclosed patio and a bar area. Plenty of seating and natural light. Food was tasty- eggs, bacon, pancake and cup of oats. Good portions. Our server, Laura was cheerful, knowledgeable about the menu and checked in with us during our time.

A roach on the bar counter. The bathroom at this restaurant. I walked out didn't order anything after seeing this... Update. No lie told about this establishment having roaches. This is definitely the restroom at your location. One thing about technology. You can see location on pictures lol

Food here was fantastic. The Bloody Mary was tasty with just enough bite to it and I loved this French toast. Big servings so be ready to share or bring some home but so absolutely yummy.

Build your own 3 egg omelet, with potatoes and cinnamon raisin toast. A classic waffle with mixed berry compote and whipped cream.

I've been here twice and my experience here the first time was better than the 2nd. I'm trying to also be mindful with this review as I'm aware staffing issues are going on with most businesses. My food, overall, was fine. I would have liked for bell peppers to be diced rather than chopped into chunks, and the bacon not to be fried so hard to where it was difficult for me to chew. The potatoes were amazing! Absolutely no complaints there. My friend ate my toast, so I can't comment on that lol. The waffle was pretty good. I loved that I had the option of adding warmed honey. Some places either dont serve it, ir if they do, it comes in a prepackaged dipping container, like bbq sauces 'n such. They messed up my friend's order a tad, but it was more so his fault than the restuarant. He also gotten the waffle, but he did not know they started adding the berries and whipped cream. He never gotten it before with all of that until this trip, and he frequents this place (or so he says). I just took his berries for myself and we solved that problem without complaining. The one issue we really had was that at no point after receiving our meal did anyone come by to check on us. When someone did we were ready to leave. Our cups were empty and we had to flag down staff for refills. One guy completely avoided us when trying to get service. He would look dead at us and we would try to wave him down, he dipped out into the back or would go the opposite direction and found something else to do. Our original waiter doing his best to serve others and it gotten so busy, that we understood why it was difficult for him to get back to us. It could be overwhelming when there is only 3 servers in a packed spot where there are some tables with 4+ people and children to serve. But, it was still bothersome.

Quick and friendly service. Lots of options for breakfast and brunch. Service staff kept checking on us and were beyond friendly

Good experience this morning. Was pleasantly greeted by our server Laura and seated. The menu had several appealing offerings and our server had some recommendations. Ordered the pancake, egg and bacon menu item and it was delivered stacked exactly as I had requested. Also picked up a side of oatmeal which included fresh blueberries and strawberries which was a nice compliment. Service was swift, order correct, food was hot and even included a coffee to go.

Happy Breakfast Birthday to my bride of almost 15 years, we celebrated her life over with a nice tasting of 2 creamsicles and 2 caramel latte shots!! They were delicious. We also had great conversation while eating , she had the Blah Blah Blah Omelette with red breakfast potatoes and a side of wheat beard perfectly toasted with butter yummy. I had the Famous Breakfast Quesadilla with a spinach wrap and a side of roast beef hash that my wife and I shared. It was so good yelpers or who ever is reading this review ! Amazing! I give this place 10 out 10 madones.. How ya doin!! #yelper-helper

    French Toast Breakfast Combo

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast the other day as we've been once before and remembered we had a decent breakfast before. We got there right at 7:30 when they opened so it was pretty quiet with only a couple other tables occupied. My husband ordered the has and eggs with a coffee and I ordered french toast with eggs combo with an apple juice. The food took a bit longer than we expected considering we were one of three tables. Once we got the food, the items were lukewarm at best. My husband's rye toast wasn't even toasted or buttered. He said it tasted more like a stale piece of bread. The biggest disappointment was when we received the bill. $40 for the two of us! For breakfast. $4.00 cup of coffee, which rivals Starbucks pricing. Actually, you can get a small coffee for less at Starbucks. $4.30 for my apple juice! I could go buy a bottle at the grocery store for less. Each of our meals were $13.00. Now I understand price for food going up and I understand having to pay a little bit more, but these prices seem way over inflated and it's almost insulting. Next time we can go over to the nearby bagel shop and pay 1/3 of this bill for a breakfast with juice and coffee.

First Watch was a place I hadn't been to yet so we gave it a try. We arrived around noon but it was barely half full at that time. We were seated quickly but unfortunately we sat there for quite a while before a waitress finally showed up. Seating was good. Lots of half booth/table and chairs. On to the food! We ordered the million dollar bacon to go with our french toast with a berry compote and the biscuits with turkey sausage gravy and eggs. The bacon was amazing! Sweet with a bit of spice to it. My challah bread french toast was good but not as custardy as I'm used to with french toast. The berry compote was great with it. We were given a warm bottle of syrup to use which I love but I wish the bottle was clean before being put in front of me. There was a buttery smug probably from the last users. Mom's eggs and biscuit was great according to her. Food was ten outta ten but the service was slow to non-existent. PS: I ate the hard cooked eggs the first two visits but three strikes and you're out! PSS: the runner that delivered our breakfast apologized & admitted this happens "all the time"! The place leans heavily into a dive‑bar feel, and it's very clear this is a locals' hangout. Despite the "Grill" in the name, it definitely reads more bar than restaurant. That said, the manager (owner?) was extremely friendly and welcoming, which set a nice tone for the visit. We split a pepperoni pizza, and it was genuinely very good. I can comfortably recommend. Just be aware of the setup: you order and pay for food at a counter, and if you want an alcoholic drink, you have to go to the bar and pay separately. Not a dealbreaker, but a little clunky.
