I was having difficulty in locating the tile I wanted for a bathroom renovation and stumbled on Fancy Fixtures while doing a search online. I made an appointment, met with Diane who was very helpful. She found the tile I needed, I ordered it and it arrived at their warehouse as promised. When I could not take delivery on the original date, I called and spoke with Kishana, who went out of her way to help change the delivery date for the tiles. I worked with Diane in choosing countertops and a tile backsplash for my kitchen renovation. It took me a while for me to finalize my choices. Diane had great patience and enthusiasm throughout this process. She spent quite a bit of time searching all possibilities in the showroom. She referred me to countertop installers who did a great job. I am so pleased with the result and would recommend this showroom and particularly Diane to anyone. read more

I am in the middle of a huge gut reno/addition project and so far almost everyone I have encountered (from CG to electrical to HVAC to carpenters, etc.) has been professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I say almost because my experience with Fancy Fixtures was the polar opposite. I had an appointment with Margaret, and the entire time she treated me like I was an inconvenience to her day. My questions were either dismissed derisively or responded with "I'll have to look that up." Despite being in her office with a computer and dozens of catalogs, she made no effort to look anything up. When I asked for suggestions she said, "I don't know what you like." I felt disrespected and left overwhelmed and depressed. Thankfully, my next appointment was at Ferguson where Danielle was everything Margaret wasn't. I just ordered fixtures for four showers, two tubs, seven sinks, as well as the actual tubs, sinks, etc. from her. Fancy Fixtures touts themselves as carrying "only the best," but Ferguson carries everything they have (including the Toto Neorest with all the bells and whistles) and far more. Do yourself a favor, skip Fancy Fixtures and go straight to Ferguson. (edit to add- I just got an email from Margaret with the plans I had emailed to her when I first arrived at my appointment just three days ago. I do not understand how a place that is in such a competitive industry can employ people who are so rude. I would pay more for the same products elsewhere because of their attitudes but I didn't have to. I went to a competitor and purchased the same products for lower prices and was treated with kindness. Don't waste your time. read more

The positive is the selection. Very broad and one stop shopping. The downside is the staff. High degree of turnover with assistants. Once they have your sale, they are not on top of your order tracking delivery and helping to expedite. They have absolutely NOTHING in stock. If they say it's in stock that doesn't mean you will have it before two months. Repeatedly I have asked to speak to a manager and funny one has NEVER been made available to me. They act as if you work for them, you call and get your sales person on the phone and they tell you to call back and speak to the assistant. They are busy with another client, etc. truly wish I never placed my orders with them. Two months in and still waiting....and you have to pay for delivery from the manufacturer to their store and then again if you want to deliver to your site. read more

Wow! I'm glad to see that I'm not alone. After reading a bunch of reviews, I see that SEVERAL people have been treated in the same RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL manner that I have been treated. All they seem to care about is getting your money. It is true that they have a lovely showroom and a nice selection, but SURELY, you can go there to look around, and when you see what you like, then GO somewhere ELSE to purchase. There are many tile stores around where you won't be treated like they're doing you a favor! read more

I could not disagree more with the above reviews. First of all, something to keep in mind, FF employees do not work on commission. They are selling you simply what they think is best for what you want. I know nothing about decorating and Sarah there basically designed all of my spaces within my budget. No arguing if the price was too high, just redirection. Every email and phone call answered. I went local in Huntington and the place there had zero selection, a staff that cared less about helping me, and no call backs. I would recommend FF to anyone! read more

I agree with S.H. that Fancy Fixtures has an incredible selection of tile, etc. Their deficiencies however far outweigh their selections. Where deficient you ask? Let's start at the front door, the receptionist is both rude and condescending. No appointment? She doesn't care if you just spent $10K, you are not getting past her. Oh, your sales person is 3 feet away, sorry no appointment, no speak. The entire staff excluding the warehouse guys (who are fabulous) need to take some classes in customer service. ethics and business acumen. They pulled a bait and switch as they were unable to deliver on prices and promises of items quoted. There are many fabulous tile places that want your business that will treat with the respect that a customer spending money should receive. Take your $$ elsewhere. read more

Fancy fixtures is beautiful with more designs than most places I've been to but the employees are dreadful. They act like they are doing us a favor even when we the customers are spending thousands and thousands of dollars. The entire staff needs to take some classes in customer service. From the moment you walk into this place you will get an unwelcoming feeling. They are downright rude and condescending. I would rather take my business elsewhere. My family has been in wholesale and retail business since 1998, and we treat customers with the respect that a customer spending money should receive. read more

Fancy Fixtures, admittedly does have an extensive selection of tile. However, their staff seems to have been hired straight from the DMV. I have never encountered such rude, unhelpful employees. "I'm here to spend money people!", but instead of being helpful, the particular sales person that I had the unfortunate of spending several sessions with, seemed to actually go out of her way to make things more difficult. This place has such potential but the employees there are just careless. I was referred to this place by my kitchen/bathroom cabinet designers. Although they have a great selection, they need to hire individuals that are better suited for the position. I had a horrible experience with the sales associate I was teamed up with. I had to chase after her for follow-up and question her fuzz math. She had no clue what she was doing. I ended up getting my tiles directly from Porcelanosa at a better price and my specialty tile from Fiorano also at a better price. I did buy one item from them, a glass sink, and it was a disaster. The item came in and no one notified me. When I followed up numerous times, I was told it wasn't in. When I was finally able to track it down, they insisted that I never responded to their e-mails and they didn't have a phone number for me. Someone's assistant hastily wrote down the wrong e-mail for me even though I had an e-mail chain about 40 messages deep with them which included my phone number. They barely even apologized. There is so much competition in the area they really should consider hiring more competent employees. read more

Customer service at this store is horrible....After ordering almost $4,000 worth of fixtures with a sales rep and telling them we were on a time schedule...we were told our fixtures were in stock and no problem. After almost 4 weeks we contacted the sales rep who said she no longer helps us we need to contact her assistant. Then we are told by the assistant that our fixtures were not going to be in for another few weeks. After being so upset and trying to explain my contractor had open walls etc etc...she hung up the phone on me.....then we contacted the owner and shipping manager who did help ..contacted their rep and found a piece someplace in Connecticut .... We were still missing other parts...and to make a very long story short we were told the contact the company direct...they couldn't help...so i did ..cried and the next day we got a call from the salesperson that took the credit because they sent our piece out....However instead of sending it directly to me ....because they knew how upset we were and so was the contractor....they had it sent to them.....of course it came late to them and we had to drive to the fed ex depot about 1/2 hour away if we wanted it asap.......TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! NO ONE CARES ONCE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT !!!!! read more
