Katie took care of my mani and Sunny took care of my pedi. Both ladies were very nice and accommodating to new customers. As someone traveling in the area, i'm very satisfied of this location's services and hope others traveling to Milpitas/San Jose can enjoy their services too!

Long story short: I originally agreed to get Gel-X. Somehow, I ended up getting builder gel instead. Ma'am... if I wanted builder gel, I wouldn't need you to cut my real nails down and put full tips on all 10 fingers. ‍ And another thing the tips were glued SO short. I mentioned it, and she laughed it off, but because I was already in a rush, I was being nice and said, "It's okay." So I let it go. Then came the bill... $108. What really made me question everything is that my friend got basically the same thing a new set with builder gel, PLUS designs on all 10 fingers! and she paid $70. Like... WHAT?! So yes, I definitely feel like I was overcharged, especially for a plain, super-short set. I should've spoken up, but lesson learned. I WILL NOT be coming back to this nail salon. If I'm going to spend $108 on my nails, I'll gladly put that money toward a Russian manicure or somewhere else. Unbelievable! Hate getting ripped off in this way!

The top coat wasn't holding up well. There was a new employee that day so I give them grace but she was not professional and need to be trained with the same TikTok lounge skills & manners! Overall still a good nail salon to go to.

I have been going to Charming Hair & Nails for over 5yrs. Yesterday, i found out that the woman who has been doing my nails recently, went on maturinty leave and there was a fill in. The manager Nikki, assured me the new lady was awesome and shes known her for years. Turns out the woman was named Tammy! She use to do my nails over 12yrs ago at another shop!! What a great reunion!! Ive always loved how she took care of me and my nails. When she left that location years ago i was heart broken. But now i found her and im super happy!! Arriving for my appointment at 3pm after calling in the morning at 11:30am for a same-day booking, I was pleased with the range of services provided by Nikki the owner. She skillfully handled my haircut, eyebrow shaping, and nose waxing, with the discomfort of the waxing process being bearable. In addition, her assistant efficiently took care of the foot spa and pedicure. The entire session cost a reasonable $72, and I happily added a tip to acknowledge Nikki's thoughtful approach, particularly in being gentle while cutting my hair due to my hearing aid implant located on my right back ear. Been here a couple of times just because it's close to my house. Last time I went the lady that cut my hair had her 6 year daugher there and the little girl cried or should I say screamed the whole time I was there - 15 minutes or so. It was little annoying and started to hurt my ears. Another time they had me sit in the salon chair and I was asked 3 times if i wanted to get a hair cut? Yes - of course, why would I agree to sit on the chair if I did not want a haircut. Been happy with the haircuts I have received but they can work on their customer service. read more

I was in urgent need of getting my nails done, and quickly. And, I came across Charming Hair and Nails. Let me tell you, this place is WONDERFUL. They have excellent service and all the ladies there are so kind. I always get my hair cut here! The manicures and pedicures are absolutely superb. They have such a wide variety of colors and designs, it's amazing. Not at all pricey. It's also next to 7-11, so you can snack on something when getting your toes done! Very clean, too. Let me start by saying that I have gotten my nails done EVERYWHERE in California, San Francisco, Sacramento, Palm Springs, Los Angeles....I never find a place that fits the bill. But TAMMY at Charming Hair and Nails is, by far the BEST!!! She does such a classy, detailed, perfect job on nails that you will just LOVE if you go to her! It was my first time here. I was referred by my mom and my sister. It's a full service shop and is very clean and organized. I had a mani and pedi done by Tami and let me tell you she is the best! She gets down and dirty to remove all the unwanted dead skin from around your toe nails and removes calluses. I will be returning every two weeks for my foot care. I was greeted by a lady finishing up a pedicure, told me to sit down. Did not wait very long, however, I made sure to ask if she could do a full set of nude powder acrylics, with a round shape, I figured super simple what could go wrong. She showed me a couple pictures on her phone and asked if that's what I wanted, I said yes and she started on my nails To start she added way to much nail glue that it went on my skin. Then she got to the nail filing which was so painful, she missed my nail multiple times. When it came applying the acrylic she was mad that I did not want to do a gel polish over powder. I repeated to her I only wanted a nude powder or white if she did not have nude, but no polish. After huffing and puffing about me not wanting polish, Mary the owner gave her a powder which was more like a clear not close to nude. I don't think she had very much experience in doing nails, by the way she applied the acrylic like she was painting my nails an not actually building the acrylic on the nail. Within 2 hours of leaving 2 nails broke from not being applied correctly. The nails were not what I wanted, she wasted an hour and a half of my time. I honestly was so over everything and just wanted her to finish, pay and get out. Paid $60 for something that only lasted on my nails 2 hours, and at the end she questioned me about if I was going to tip her, I honestly was so shocked and laughed, still tipped her even though at that point I really shouldn't have. $10 press on would've been way better than the $70 I spent here

My family couldn't stop laughing at the "little moons" on my nails. So bad.
