I walked in and asked the ladies how much for a blowout, she told me $20. And if I can get a blowout done and the lady told me yes. She knows how to do it... She washed my hair and when she was done, she brought me over to the chair and proceed to blow dry my hair. I showed her a video on how I wanted my hair and just to make sure she knew how to get it done. When she was done blow drying my hair. She took out a straightener and started to straightening my hair.... I'm like what the heck... Then when I asked her how much again. she told me $25 and when I paid with $100. Went to get my hair trimmed today. Asked for a 1inch trim, keeping the length & thickness. The lady with short hair & glasses, washed my hair & even showed me how short she was going to cut. She showed me 1 inch like I wanted. At the end of the cut, it was noticeably shortened by 4 inches. I said it was too short. Her answer was that she decided to cut off the dried ends. The lady in charge there said it looked nice & if I keep my hair back it looks longer. They did nothing to help or said anything to calm me down. No discount or anything. First off if I had wanted all my dried ends off I would've asked. If I wanted 4 inches off I would've asked as well. I'm never going to cut my hair ever again especially from this place. I've been going to this salon for about two years. Recently, the guy who cuts hair has been ignoring me. I usually have him cut my hair because I like the way he cuts. Today when I went in for a hair cut, I told one of the ladies that I want the guy to cut my hair (as I usually do). When he was done cutting his customer's hair, he told another customer to go and sit at the chair to get his hair cut. Now, this customer came AFTER me. After he was done with that customer, he did this AGAIN! He waved down another customer who came AFTER me. And I was there for about an hour waiting. He must have done this 4 or 5 times. I was so mad! At one point, I think one of the ladies that work there told him I was waiting for my turn. He kept doing this for people who came after me. This happened on two other occasions too. This place has no respect for their loyal customers. After coming here for a while now and always taking care of my barbers, they have lost my business today. I am appalled at how ridiculous they are in handling customer flow today. There is no sign in sheet, how the hell are they supposed to keep track of people when all people are wearing masks? I will not return to this place again. I waited outside for over an hour and got skipped several times. The lady in there knows me well because I go here often, and said she would come out to tell me when it's my turn. That did not happen. Both barbers cut 2-3 different people in skipping me. Just want to tell eveyone if this is your first time, make sure you ask for May/Mei. I have been there couple times and do realized some English/communication problem with some employees. This place I do not recommend. Why because they don't know how to cut hair they just shoved the scissors and hope it comes out good. The only person that knows how to cut hair is the one lady with the glasses. I forgot her name. One side comes out different then the other side like come on. They push back your hairline. Just visited here today without an appointment, the Chinese lady is very professional. She gave me some very helpful suggestions when I asked her to cut my bang shorter, and she did an excellent job. For the long hair cut, the price is $15 plus tips, it is lower than most of the places I have visited, but they are doing a much better work than others. read more

Walked in today for a layered long bob hair cut. The lady sat me down and I told her what I wanted. She totally ignored me and said, "no honey, long bob won't look good on you. I'm going to give you a layered v cut. Very simple and very nice." Well that killed my enthusiasm for a layered bob cut, so I agreed with her and got what she wanted. Did a very good job compared to other places I've been. I still wanted that long bob but I knew she wasn't going to do it for me. Then I got my eyebrows done. There are still hairs that I need to pluck. She did not do a very good job. If you want a simple layered v shaped hair cut, this is the place, but the ladies won't really listen to your opinion. read more

My first time getting my hair done since I am super picky with anyone touching my hair and I usually don't think its necessary to go do my hair, but it is my sister birthday and we decide to come here after a long time searching a good place that is affordable for now. And I can not stress how amazing our first experience was...THIS IS MY OPINION it is different for everyone but the lady that did my hair was so nice and talkative, my sisters and I had the shampoo,cut, and style. For me my lady was a bit rough with washing my hair but for my first time I really enjoy it and didn't mind, if you want a much softer and calm wash ask for the guy my sister said he was much more gentle with washing. My lady then help me over to blow dry my hair and cut it, I gave some of my idea and she help suggest what will match my face more and I went it, tbh I was a bit scared, then after she curled my hair. *NOTE* I went in with a hair dye I did myself and when she cut my hair a bit of the dye was still on the tip of my hair so when she finish curling my hair it turned out A-mazing! We both (stylist and myself) was so proud of the outcome. Since my sisters were in there too we all had a bunch of talks between all stylist and us three. Overall, I enjoyed my first time and I do recomend people to come here on your own account. THEY DONT KNOW HOW YO HANDLE HAIR!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! The viet lady with the long black hair messed up my hair. She was just dying the roots, However I have long hair and the way she treated it was horrendous. You're not suppose to brush it after a shampoo bc she broke away my hair and CLUMPS OF IT WAS ON THE GROUND!!! I didn't see and she DIDNT EVEN TELL ME!!! I had to learn the hard way. I trusted a stranger and paid for it. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND DONT GO HERE!! this really happened and you can ask them for yourself. I ran out of there to go home and take care of my own hair while it was wet because she didn't know how to treat it because it gave me a panic attack. I wish i had taken pictures but I was panicking!!! I wish i hadn't paid money. I got ptsd from the experience because I LOST SO MUCH HAIR that grew, dyed, and maintained over 4 years.
