In my 20 years as their patron, I have only experienced an issue once and when I expressed my dissatisfaction, it was addressed and remedied immediately and free of charge. They are clean and knowledgeable. The salon is huge and such a great space, with the little frenchie. They offer various drinks such as coffee, tea, carbonated water, and snacks. My hair is purple and very long, so my hair appointments take literally the entire day. Everywhere I go though, I get compliments on my hair all the time. Some people would say this salon is expensive, but to me, the quality they offer is worth it. I've been to cheaper salons and have had really bad experiences. Because my hair is high maintenance and costly, they do a great job of giving me some samples of their products. They are always educating me on how to care for my hair and how to use various products. I will always support this business because it truly does strive to take care of its guests and produce high quality work.

I would go back to her without hesitation because of this alone. I booked an appointment for a digital perm with Liya well over a month ago. I have stick straight hair that has zero volume and the videos and pictures I was seeing of Liya's beautiful work was so exciting! My day arrived and I was super excited. Side note, I am currently dealing with some heavy personal things at home, so having this to look forward to was a breath of fresh air. This will come into play in this review in a moment. I arrived for my appointment, Liya looked at my hair and did tell me my hair was very fine and that I had some damage at the ends. I knew these things, so it wasn't a shock. She did a cut to remove those damaged ends and then her assistant took me to wash my hair. During that wash the assistant asked me some questions about my hair because she was seeing some damage that was concerning to her. She finished the wash and took me back to the chair. Liya came back, she spoke with the assistant, and then Liya showed me the parts of my hair that the assistant was concerned about. She was very kind and apologetic, but told me that she would not feel comfortable giving me the perm with the damage they were seeing. It was more apparent now while my hair was wet. She didn't see it as much when she did the dry cut. Of course I was disappointed, but I was not upset with Liya for making this call. As a matter of fact, I was very appreciative that she was willing to be honest with me and not just take my money. Here's where my personal issues came into play. My level of disappointment combined with stress and sadness I was already feeling caused me to cry. I was trying to hold it in, but I kind of failed. Liya again apologized, I tried to explain that I was okay and I wasn't upset with her or blaming her. I told her I was grateful for her honesty. This is why I write this review. I hope that Liya reads it or at least gets the message. While I am very sad to have not been able to experience her beautiful work on my own hair, I am so thankful that she is a person of respect, integrity, and honesty. She did not charge me for the cut and the wash either. If you are looking to visit Liya at TT Salon, I highly recommend her! She is not just out there taking people's money because of a popular trend. I am hopeful that one day I can go back and get that perm, Liya! I was hoping for the best, and he gave me exactly the waves I was looking for. The process was about 5 hours, but honestly, I love waking up with effortless beach waves every day, so it was worth it! Several people helped with washing and styling throughout the appointment, and everyone was so kind and welcoming. This last visit meant more to me than he probably knows. I had just been laid off from my job and had an important interview the next day. Even though Leo was fully booked for days, he offered to see me two and a half hours after his normal closing time. I love that she can tailor my hair color based on my hair profile and previous history with coloring, so I've been very pleased with how the color always comes out and I usually get compliments after my hair is done. Glad to report her work is still great and pricing is very reasonable many years later! Parking is also super easy in the lot and convenient to get in and out of. It's in a huge shared plaza with places like Trader Joe's if you want to get errands done while you're out here.
