Went here for the first time last week, got the spa pedicure - $40. Highly overpriced considering it was a very basic pedicure. Employees were very nice, establishment was clean... but a pedicure that uses the word "massage" when there definitely wasn't one, for $40 is a bit much. read more

Usually don't have complaints with this place, but during my French manicure I had to stop the nail tech and just request a solid color because it was so uneven. I've been following this place on instagram for a long time, finally set aside some money to go with my friend and try it out because it looked soo good online. It definitely depends on your tech. My friend got a really nice girl and her nails turned out perfect, she paid something like 15$ less than me. She got french nails & toes, I got plain toes & an accent french nail with chrome. The girl at the front was super nice. I had a guy do my nails (Not sure his name) when he started he dipped the nail tips in rubbing alcohol and then put the glue and when he put it on my nail it burned. After saying "ouch" and moving my hand back he just got more aggressive with me through the whole process. The entire time it was like he thought I didn't have feeling in my hands. Then when he put the actual acrylic he put SO much of it the excess went all around my nail and on the tip of my finger and was burning- I'm pretty sure acrylics aren't supposed to burn. The acrylic was literally a centimeter thick and then he just started drilling it down aggressively. When he was done I asked him if he could make them thinner because they were so thick and he said no because they will break ( My friends nails were super cute and dainty...) He didn't cut my cuticles or around my nail bed at all or do any kind of manicure- I asked him if he could cut the cuticle & he did AFTER he finished the acrylic (The whole point of cleaning the nail bed is to make the acrylic look more natural) I asked two more times to fix the shape, the first time he buffed a little like fake fixing it the second time he didn't at all. The second I was done he went up to the front and wrote a bunch of stuff down. I got charged 58$ for what I thought was a $40 pedicure (Fine) an extra 20$ for chrome (Completely insane- I've never paid more than 5-10$ for chrome) 15$ for french (I did an accent french so not on every finger, if i knew it was the same up charge i would have done a full french) and 8$ for the cuticle cutting (Something that is normally part of an 80$ nail experience) My friend was not charged for cuticle cutting. He did have to fix one of my nails because my pinky was comically massive. When he asked if I needed anything else fixed I asked if he could file the sides more and he said no. I wanted cute dainty light blue girly nails and I left with giant acrylic bricks. I left visibly upset and they didn't provide any type of discount. Definitely a 45-60$ set but if you want to charge 100+ $ for a set of nails they should be perfect. Don't charge luxury prices if you aren't providing a luxury service. read more

I usually get my nails done in Boston but I was running errands a few days before Christmas and was in this area with some time to spare so walked in to this salon assuming I couldn't go wrong with a basic gel manicure. The staff was pleasant and while I had to wait, it was pre Christmas rush so no complaining there. I was given like 10 books of colors from no name brands and only saw OPI as a recognizable brand. So asked for a very common OPI color- they either didn't have it or couldn't find it and kept pushing me to pick from a random brand. Again, pre christmas rush so I complied understanding they may not have stock. I've been doing gel manicures for over 10 years- so I know the best procedure to remove old gel is file top coat and wrap with acetone and foil. Definitely could've save the staff some time while I was waiting to do this. They did not. The tech I had therefore used the file machine to file down to my nail bed basically- I kept wincing from the heat. I had a cut and I asked the tech to skip the cuticle cutting around it- that seemed to motivate her more to pick at it. Manicure came out mediocre but I wasn't expecting perfection so that was fine. Fast forward to 2 days later- my manicure is peeling and my nails are bending from how thin she filed my previously very strong nails. A complete waste of money and time, not to mention my nails will be in recovery mode for weeks until I can grow out the filed down part. read more

My first time here; I called to ask about the price of a fill, I was told $42. Salon was cute, seemed professional and the woman did a great job with my nails. However, when I went to pay, I was told $48 because I "changed the shape of my nails" and that they were "long." My nails are the exact same shape as when I arrived and are an average length; they were filled after growing out, nothing more. The tech insisted on going back & forth with me & the woman at the reception desk, coming up with excuses as to why it was more money. I don't appreciate nail salons who attempt to nickel & dime customers with false charges, and think people are not going to speak up. Not to mention - the tech cut me pretty badly with the drill. All in all, I was even still considering coming back until the pay discrepancy occurred. That left a bad taste with me, and I won't be back. read more
