I have been here once or twice before and they did an average job. But I went yesterday for a simple gel removal and regular manicure. I was in there for over an hour and a half. (5:35PM - 7:07PM). A woman put the tinfoil/cotton/nail polish remover on my fingers to take the gel off (which was already half off) and it was very clear the tinfoil had been previously used on someone else (ew). The woman then disappeared and did not return. Another woman checked on my nails 35 minutes later and didn't think the nails had sat long enough so kept the foil on all of them. At this point my finger tips stung from soaking in nail polish for so long. I sat there for another 15 minutes until finally the second woman came back and starting working on my nails. She used barely any lotion and did a 15 second massage on each hand. She shaped my nails pretty well, I must say. She then did a base coat, 2 color coats and a top coat. I didn't realize until I left how uneven the layers of color were (pictures attached). The second coat stopping well before my skin. Safe to say I will NEVER be going back here. With the amount of nail salons in the area.. they really need to step up their game. read more

The worst nail salon I have ever been to. I got dip and within 2 days, 2 nails have already complete broken off and broke my real nails. My dip usually lasts a full month. I also read a review about them up charging, so I called in advance and asked how much dip was and they said $55. I was charged $66.50. I called the next day and said a nail already ripped off from me just pushing the off button on my phone and asked if they could fix it and she wouldn't even make the time for it. read more

Ugh! 2 stars because we walked right in. Took my daughter for a much needed, and we'll deserved shellac mani and pedi. I had a toe polish change and OPI shellac. Should have known when we walked in at 1030 and he had to call and get someone out of bed to come in! Random pricing. BEWARE no pricing menu in sight. This place is pretty expensive to start - $14 for a manicure, $45 for a mani/pedi, and $14 for an eye brow wax. Also, it's not that great. The nail technician was talking to me the entire time about how rich I must be to live in the area and she made it super awkward the whole time. She maybe spent about a whole 8 minutes doing my manicure and maybe, I mean MAYBE spent about 10 seconds giving me a hand massage. My nails came out fine, but for $14 you'd expect more than an 8 minute manicure. I'm also pretty sure they put alcohol in their polish as my nails chipped the same day. They eyebrow wax was good but again, my technician would not stop talking and making me feel awkward for living where I did. Very strange. read more

I've been going to Supreme Nails for years and they never disappoint. Even though the interior isn't the most beautiful, compared to some other local spots, don't be fooled. The nail techs always do a great job. I usually get a gel mani and standard pedi and they come our practically perfect. I don't bother going to other nail salons in the North End anymore. Plus the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I always tell my friends to go to Supreme and skip the other salons that have "fancier" interiors because the service just doesn't compare. read more

Leaving one star because I can't write a review and leave no stars. My regular nail tech is out on leave so I figure I pop by this place for a quick regular gel mani. Nothing fancy. Upon entering the employees refused to believe my naturally long nails were in fact grown out of my nail bed. I informed the tech that I currently had on OPI gel polish that needed to be removed. She wrapped my nails with the foil and after about 10 mins the polish barely lifted. I'm no pro but I've had many many gel manis with the previous gel is removed. It is my belief that this nail tech did not use true acetone for this process. So she files and wraps them again. At this point she is convinced I lied and had a dip powder on my nails. I have no clue what that this. She then pulls out an electric file to scrap and peel away the gel polish which begins to visibly destroy my nail bed. Now she becomes impatient and files away with no attempt to resoak my nails in acetone which is the proper technique. Seeing how we are 45 mins into this horrid removal and the customers are waiting she rushes through the actual mani part. When she starts painting my nails I notice the color seems off. But it could be the lighting. Once finished and I inspect my nails I noticed that the base coat from my original gel that should've been removed is still in fact on my nails. Now this lady wants to charge me $40! Lol. I gave $20 cash and walked out. A week later my cuticles are gross, I have ingrown nails, and 3 of my nails have broken due to the weight of previous base coat not being removed. If the tech was having troubles why not consult another for help? This place is very unprofessional and not up to speed on technique especially with their high rates. I do not recommend. Ladies you're better off trying a place in Southie or Dorchester. read more

Really disappointed with the service I got here. Went in for a full set, some woman put a while hand of tips on, just for her to switch with someone else less than halfway through the service, and the new woman ripped them all off because they were all the wrong size! I'm supposed to pay $65 dollars for someone who can't even put the right size tips on? No thanks. Place did not look nice on the inside and I got a sense that the women working there didn't really care. Will never be going back, save your money. read more

Now I did not go to this place to get my nails done, but just a chair massage so I cannot justify how good they are in the nail department but I've heard good reviews for that. However, I do NOT recommend ever getting a chair massage from this place. The woman I had did not have my full undivided attention as she was trying to wrap up another girl's nails to see if they were dry or not. Plus, the massage itself was strictly rubbing my back and hitting a few pressure points on the lower back...I emphasized that my top left shoulder was achy and to work on that but she still wasn't getting it. Wasn't worth the $30 for the 30 minutes that I was there...was ready to leave after 15min but didn't want to be charged the full price - just in case. Also not to mention that they face position where you place your face was not in the proper position and made it slightly uncomfortable and there was no napkin or barrier to seperate the seat itself to your skin - a bit unsanitary don't you think? They are really close to my apartment, the space is nice with all new equipment and the people are really nice, which is the only reason they are not receiving only one star. I could have given myself a better manicure and it probably would have lasted the same amount of time - barely three days. So I was coerced into getting my first ever pedicure for our girls' day out. The night before, me and my other fellow first-timer were nervous and anxious. What do we wear? Do we have to wear flip-flops? But it's supposed to rain. Will wearing socks and boots defeat the whole purpose? Will it hurt? Will it tickle? How will we react? Endless questions. The very nice lady seemed quite taken aback when I told her it was my first pedicure. She was like, "??? But then who does it?!" And I was like, "Uhh...me?" And then she was like, "Oh, I'm lucky then," while inspecting a foot closely. And I was like, "Umm...I'm not so sure about that." And so it began... Pros: Great massage chairs. Clean, bright environment. Super friendly staff. The man conscientiously redid a nail for my friend even though she said it was fine. Non-traumatic experience for a couple of super nervous first-timers. Neutral: The cheese-grater-like-tool-that-is-more-properly-known-as-a-microplane-foot-file-I-think was super ticklish! But I held in my giggles like a mature, refined lady would. Although I was being laughed at since apparently my humongous calluses warranted the woman bringing out the big guns. *rolls eyes* Friends. Cons: The water my feet were soaking in was barely lukewarm while my friends' were plenty hot. Didn't complain since my feet weren't in there long before the woman started working on them. Super short foot/calf massage, which was less like a massage and more like lotion just being rubbed on. Fellow first-timer could have used more buffing action. Seemed kinda pricey at $29. Overall, it was a decent, non-traumatizing first pedicure experience. It's been over 10 days and my toes are still looking good although my calluses are starting to rise up and revolt again. I'd be open to another pedicure but would probably want to try out some other places before coming back here. read more

The service is friendly, the place is clean, the prices are decent and they have tons of colors to choose from - that's pretty much my requirement list for a nail salon and Supreme meets it all. The pedicure chairs are super comfortable and I've gotten several pedicures and never had one last less than a full month - usually longer. They do take appointments and get busy at standard times (right after work on weekdays, mid-day on weekends) but I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes... overall its a great, convenient salon - check it out! One last thing - they take credit cards but you can't include the tip on your card so make sure you have at least a little cash. read more

I actually followed Kay here and I will always come here. It's very clean, relaxing, and the prices are in accordance with the demographic area. I live in the city... And I drive here, look for parking or park in the garage they are affiliated with for $3, and I do because it's worth it. I get all of my services done here... Gel mani, pedicure, eyelash extensions, eye brow wax, bikini wax, and underarms. They use a Depileve ( a purple sensitive skin wax that's doesn't burn like the gold wax which feels much better on your skin. I'm a cosmetologist. "Trust me". Too be honest... You get what you pay for. The time and care that take on your services warrants their prices. It's a great business and I will always continue showing support here. I asked for a dip manicure. took until 830 to complete my nails. one week into having the nails, both of the thumbs are chipped and one nail completely peeled off. typically my dip manicures last 3-4 weeks. the manicure was 58$ plus my tip. I recently moved into the neighborhood and was looking for a place to make my staple nail salon. I stumbled across Supreme Nails on Yelp, and although the reviews were mixxy I decided to give them a shot. I am EXTREMELY happy I did! The place was very clean, with an extensive choice of colors to choose from. I literally had no wait time and was in a chair before I knew it. My technician was Vy, and when I tell you all she is AMAZING, it is truly an understatement. Our conversations were short, but she made sure I was relaxed and I was satisfied with her work. Vy was very attentive to detail and did not rush, and the results showed it all. My pedicure came out so immaculate I had to thank her accordingly. Supreme Nails is a great go-to with great prices and a very kind staff. I've suggested many people to this establishment and definitely will be going back myself. read more

I work around the corner, and I have been coming here for eyebrow waxes. They always looked great, and were perfectly shaped and cleaned up. I am not happy that when my credit card was run today, the woman who rung me up (not the one who does my brows) added an extra dollar on there, like I wouldn't notice. I've gotten my eyebrows done at Supreme at least 6-7 times, and I've paid with cash or debit ($14 for brows) and leave a tip of about $4-5. I probably have paid mostly with my card, as I don't usually keep cash on me unless it's for tips. I've never had an issue until today. The woman ringing me up asked if I had cash, I politely explained that I didn't, and that I was a regular and my card was never an issue, then I saw her type $15 into the credit card scanner. When she handed me the Merchant copy to sign, I mentioned that I always paid $14, then she told me the minimum was $15. There are no signs anywhere stating this, and you should probably tell someone before running their card that you're going to add an extra dollar. I don't care about the money, it's only a dollar. I am incredibly unhappy with how rude she was, and made no attempt to explain or apologize. Won't be going back. read more

I would give 1 star but the workers were friendly so I'll add a star. Needless to say, I won't be coming back unless I am essentially in a nail crisis. This place is right in front of my job so I dropped by after work. There were two very friendly ladies at the counter who took me in. I asked for a gel-mani and pedi. I started with a pedi and everything seemed to be going fine. There was no liner on the foot bath which is kind of unsanitary but the woman that did my pedicure really took her time. So why the 2 stars?? Well, after I came in, a few other customers started coming in. At that point I felt the sense of rushing. The First Lady was not done with my pedicure when another one came in and started doing my nails while I was on the pedicure chair. A gel manicure that took about 5 minutes. She completely rushed and did not ask about how I wanted my nails shaped. After I noticed they were the wrong shape, I held my tongue because it was too late. She brought over the gel uv light to the chair and continued. I was really uncomfortable at that point, and did not feel the "spa" experience that is in the name of the establishment. Also another thing to point out: instead of properly applying my gel polish, she messily applied it on my cuticle and then used her clearly DIRTY fingernail to clean away the excess polish, on all my nails. At that point I was grossed out and I just wanted to leave. My pedicure paint job also looked pretty bad. My gel polish lasted a week which is ridiculous considering gel usually lasts on me about 3-4 weeks. The pedicure also started chipping on the 2nd day. My pedicures can endure a nuclear war so this is how you know it was a poor job. Not worth the almost $70. Please look into other nail place, this one is really not good. read more

Supreme Nails is my go-to place in Boston. All of the staff there are so kind and flexible and accommodating. I have been seeing Cam there for a few years now. She does nails, wax, facial, and eyelash extensions. She is incredible. Coming from someone who moved here from Taiwan (we have really affordable and high quality facials and lash extensions), Cam is by far the best I have found in the U.S. Not only that, she is the sweetest woman who will always work till you are satisfied and does her best to make the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. Her facials are really great too! My skin instantly felt smoother. Anyone looking for an affordable and satisfactory experience should definitely try this place!!!! read more

I got my nails done 3 days ago and what is supposed to last 2 weeks is already peeling and chipping. It's not just one nail, but 6... I have gone to this shop 2 x a month for about a year now. The staff is friendly and nice. They accept walk in and they do a pretty ok job. I did have some issues when I first started but we got through that rough patch. Wendy is the girl who does my nails. Sometimes I think she is in a hurry, distracted with her kids and getting out for the day. My nails are inconsistent with how long they stay on. But I would recommend them for sure. read more

I've been getting fills for ever and this by far was the worst. I feel bad because it looked more like inexperience. I should have left the chair immediately. Instead I stayed for most of it and left before she could polish. I need to get them fixed now. She never filled them fully before applying acrylic. And didn't file them after to even out, ask if I wanted them shortened, ask what shape even. Now they have humps, and they look like spoons. She looked inexperience and unsure. It's too bad. I'm sure the other 2 may have better experience but I'm all set with finding out. $25 for a fill. No thanks. read more

In the history of my yelping, I don't think I have given a nail salon 5 stars until now. I got a gift certificate here for Christmas from my husband and decided to give this place a try. Compared to the the other nail salons in the Northend, I think this place is "supreme". It's a new salon with really nice chairs for pedicures, lots of windows for sunlight, and happy friendly staff.
