DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE! Worst Pet Grooming ever! Brought my baby here for the first time! I should have left when she tried to run away. and was scared. I dropped her off and was slightly turned off by staff.......a bunch of girls just talking and not paying attention to grooming. Got a call they CUT my baby and she almost lost her eye. They sliced her eye open. and cut her face. One good thing why I gave one star is they rushed her to the emergency and paid for it all! I cried my children cried and she had to have a mini surgery. Plus the hair cut was horrible! all choppy and not groomed good at all! She came out with a Phineas and Ferb haircut and looking like a pirate with one eye! But I am grateful my dog is still alive do not your send your baby too fancy paws. read more

I was told that if I didn't give a 24 hour notice that before I could reschedule I had to pay for the appointment $74. This is horrific customer Service! read more

So I went to this establishment tonight at 6:20 to get my dogs nails trimmed. The door was locked and no one answered the phone. I did hear voices at the side of the building. After asking if they worked at the pet place the heavily tattooed guy said , ".yeah my wife and I own it." I said I wanted to get my dogs nails trimmed. His response was "yeah we had two call offs today so we closed at six". And walked away. Not an I'm sorry or let me open so we can take care of you. So glad you can let business walk away!!!!! And FYI your shop looks like you haven't vacuumed in ages with all the dog hair on the carpet. Needless to say you will never get my business ! read more

A newer pet grooming establishment in Lakeville, this place was great for Benny, my dog. The woman who groomed Benny was great; once again I forgot to get her name. However Melissa, the owner, was there. I recognized her from the web site. Noting the allergies in our family, she used a hypo-allergenic shampoo and didn't use any smelly colognes on Benny. Also, they didn't keep him stashed in a kennel due to his nervous nature. All and all, he looked great and still looks great three days later. The price was on par or better than competitors close by. I'll definitely be taking Benny back for his next grooming. read more

I took our pug here on a recommendation from another groomer, who was booked out two months in advance. I was very pleased with how soft and sweet smelling he was when I picked him up, and they were able to work with my wiggly pug who HATES anyone touching his feet for a nail trim. They even have him a Halloween bandana! Price point is right on with what I'm used to paying for a bath and nail trim. The ladies working were all very friendly and welcoming. The bummer is that I'm moving out of state in a month so I'll have to find a new groomer, but I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a groomer! read more

We had been bringing our little Herb to a different groomer for years when they unfortunately ended up going out of business. We were desperately searching for a new groomer when some friends recommended Fancy Paws to us. We are admittedly pretty picky/high-maintenance when it comes to our fur baby so we cautiously brought him in to "try them out." Right when we walked through the door any concerns we had were eased. The groomers were professional, and the place just had a fun and friendly atmosphere. Our Herbie can be a handful at times. He has trust issues and is very selective who can touch/pet/handle him. This has never been an issue here. He doesn't come home stressed out at all, and he always looks fantastic! We have now been bringing Herb here for months and I still cannot say enough about this place. I'm so thankful they were recommended to us, and I absolutely 100% recommend them to anyone I know! read more

Not happy with results! Took our Leonberger and Golden there and they charged $30-40 more than quote and they came back all chopped up! Without asking they trimmed thier chests, bellies, tails, etc...I understand feet, but these are not poodles! You look at them and they have choppy cuts of hair all over! What were they thinking! The process took a little longer than expected but that's okay. They did a fantastic job. The cost was lower than originally estimated which was awesome. I took my Malshi puppy to be groomed for the first time on Aug. 29, 2018. He was quite matted because it is difficult for me to seriously brush him due to an arm injury. However, after consulting with "Mary" the groomer, she assured me that she would take "good care" of my puppy and would not hurt or frighten him. The grooming cost me $90.00, which is the highest price I have ever paid for grooming. Being on a fixed income, it was a shock! I picked up my puppy after three hours, took him home, only to find that he was so seriously burned on his testicles, butt and back legs that he couldn't sit down and couldn't stop shivering from fright. I had to purchase medication to help relieve the pain and promote healing. Today, Sept. 3, is the first day he has stopped shivering and been able to run around and sit without pain. These people talk a good show, but it's a get in and get out quick service. They charged an outrageous price for injuring my dog and I will never use them again, and will tell as many people as possible not to use them. You can show as many pictures of well-groomed dogs as you wish, but my dog is proof of unacceptable and injurious service. They asked me to sign a matting release form prior to grooming - this just gave them license to do what they wanted. Never again! I've been taking my dog here for about a year, and I am very happy with Fancy Paws. My dog is slightly hyper and and likes to be constantly moving. They do a great job with calming him and getting him to sit still long enought to be groomed:) They give him lots of attetion and you can tell the staff there really love dogs!! My dog has been going to Fancy Paws for a couple of years now. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. They treat my dog very well. He doesn't like his nails done, but they always know how to take care of him. The prices are fair market prices. The salon is clean and well located. This salon is different from mainstream salons in that they are honest in how things may go with your dog, and sometimes the owners of the dog may not like that. I think they are a well trained group of groomers who are willing and able to take care of your dog! read more

Very disappointed with Fancy Paws. First time my dog was groomed here and the last. When I brought her home, I noticed she had many big sections of hair missing in her leg area. I called the owner and was told that it was because her fur was matted and that they had tried to comb thru it but to no avail. I bathe and brush my dog every week and have never had a problem with fur matting. The owner was condescending. She never apologized. She never asked what she could do. As a business owner myself, I would never treat a customer that way. I will never go back and I will made damn sure to tell all my pet owning friends to avoid this grooming business. read more

I love the place. We bring my 3 dogs there. they r so nice to our dogs. All of the employees are so nice to all their customers in my opinion. And once they're done they always give them a little thing around her neck to make them look pretty. Great experience - Pet Stylist Christine consulted with me as to how I wanted our Llewellin Setter groomed. She understood the breed and the difference between a "field cut" for hunting and a "natural cut" to feature the English setter feathers and asked very specific questions to make sure there was no confusion on what we were looking for. Our setter, Jenny, can be a handful and Christine was not phased by the challenge. The salon was bright and upscale , very modern and clean. They were very busy , everyone was friendly and Jenny came home looking fantastic. Jenny will return to Fancy Paws Pet Salon the next time she needs a grooming. read more

I am so very grateful for the help of Fancy Paws today. I don't own dogs but have 3 cats myself and am watching my parents cat in our home while they are away for 2 weeks. Their cat is a very long haired cat and over the course of a few days I started noticing he was having trouble cleaning his backend after going poop and it was getting matted and stuck. My husband and I tried our best to clean the fur and cut certain pieces but ultimately today we just couldn't do much more to help him. I asked a friend of mine where to go and she suggested Fancy Paws. They took me within a few hours and were so wonderful and caring with me and my parents cat. It's been a bit of a stressful week with another animal in the house and I was so thankful for such thought and care they gave me.
