Don't be shy, Ribeye - fancy potato with 22oz ribeye!

A Cafe with a Swagger! The owner is super cool and creates not just plates of food, but culinary art. The fancy potatoes have various premium toppings, from caviar, to smoked fish and to delicious lamb chops, crawfish or lobster. Personally, I tried the Xinkali, which was amazing. It's a set of large dumlings with a handle that you hold on to, bite the side of the dumpling and unleash the meat juices right into your mouth, along with the awesome, juicy beef filling. I bit into it, the meat was incredibly delicious and the juices were dripping. My friend tried a fancy potato with smoked salmon. The dish was huge and the flavor was unparalleled. The potato was buttery and soft and the fish was super yummy. We'll definitely come back! The spot itself has a cool contemporary/industrial design with great vibes. The service was great as well!

I got the don't be shy ribeye for my first time and it was super good. The portion could feed two people. The ribeye is definitely a quality cut meat like I said feeds two people just the meat itself. Also, the pairing of onions and garnishes, pickled cabbage, and cheese, butter etc made the meal so delicious.

First time to try this place. Our friends brought us a variety of each potato and it was one of the best potato I have ever ate. I tried the crawfish and the sardine potato and they were good too. But the ribeye baked potato was to die for. Amazing combination of ingredients that was created. I am a picky person in general but this was so good. Everyone should try it. Quality is amazing. The Ribeye was steakhouse quality seasoned perfection.

Nothing about this place matched the hype from the reviews online. I'd recommend people look into the health inspection history and make their own decision before spending money here. There are way better places nearby that actually care about quality and customers.

You must go. Oh my the food is impressive! A group business lunch included about everything on the menu and it was all very good. Tried the Grandpa's Crawfish, the Don't Be Shy Ribeye, the Nutella Xinkali, and the Dubai Chocolate Xinkali from Fancy Potato Cafe, and everything was incredible. I ordered in person for takeout, and the service was welcoming and friendly from the start. You can tell they care about both the food and the customer experience. The food was amazing with great flavor, high quality ingredients, and very generous portions. I got this for my wife and I, and it ended up being way more food than the two of us could finish. The price for the amount and quality of food you get is more than fair. Everything we tried was excellent, and the dessert Xinkali were especially unique and delicious. I've been here three times already and I'm a very picky eater, so that says a lot. Every time they've gotten my customized order exactly right. The food is delicious, everything tastes fresh, and the quality is excellent. Some people say it's overpriced, but you're not just getting a plain baked potato. When you're adding steak or other premium toppings and customizing your order, it's obviously not fast food pricing. The ingredients and quality really show. Great vibe, excellent service, and a nice place to sit, relax, or even get some work done while enjoying a good meal. Definitely one of my go-to spots. read more

It's more than just a fancy potato: It's an experience! Made the drive from Glendale to see what all the TikTok hype was about... I came in when the owner was there and he was super nice and friendly. There was a younger guy there helping him too. We got the sardine and beef liver and heart potatoes. This was more than enough for two people to share one. I enjoyed the probiotics from the fresh pickled cabbage too. Best food ever especially the crawfish. Truly the fancy potato every dish has potato at the bottom for potato lovers I recommend. Everything is flavorful and leaves you wanting to come back again. My family and I always order from here when it's time to have a family gathering, with cousins, uncles, aunts, and we recommend to go there with your family too. Just checked out this new spot and wow--it absolutely delivers. The vibe is warm and modern without feeling pretentious, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in. The menu is thoughtful and the potatoes are huge! we tried the jacked potato,beautifully presented and full of flavor made with fresh ingredients and attention to detail--you can tell a lot of care went into both the food and the overall experience. Everything overpriced if I have to pay $60 for a baked potato and sardines, I'll just go order a steak. The food smells and the service is very bad and I had to wait 45 minutes for my food. Will not go there again. read more

No because this was actually embarrassing. It's literally just a potato and they're charging like it's fine dining. Mine was cold in the middle and had barely any flavor. And the staff acted like we were annoying just for being there. Overpriced, overhyped, and not worth it at all. read more

I hate living bad reviews, but this time experience was so bad that I decided to share it with others . I owe a flower shop in a walking distance from establishment called Fancy Potato. Me and my 3 employees always support local eateries specially if its newly opened place, trying to get new customers. We placed order over the phone, everyone ordered different toppings for our potatoes. I went to pick up order. I didn't get to interact with anyone besides man who took my payment. I assume he could care less, even to look me in my eyes and thank me for ordering $150 worth food. Whatever, I thanked him and left. We started eating and everyone noticed how tastless meat was. 2 people ordered sardines ( which came out to be canned fish) , 1 person got pork ribs and 1 person ordered steak. Steak wasn't edible at all. Meat was tough and rubbery. And potato itself was ok, nothing "fancy" about it besides price. Ribs were dry and had more bone than meat on it. Honestly, $55 for baked potato and steak, should be quality of Mastro's steakhouse. If price for 4 people was around $60 no one would complain, but paying $150 plus tax and getting what we got is not worth it. read more

I was shocked how expensive it is. he is selling potatoes not Michelin star meals. so how to justify the high costs. second of all I was with my friend, he said he left a review and I want to share my review too. we each had a similar potato. it was nothing special. it felt like the potato was reheated. you know how you eat a potato when it's not fresh and it has this disgusting aftertaste? that's what they're selling here. pretty much you're paying a large fee for just the toppings, the potato is just thrown in as a nice gesture. but even the other stuff isn't good either. avoid this place unless you want to throw away money and have an empty stomach during your lunch break. read more

Overpriced and nonsensical menu, there is nothing authentically 'Armenian' about a baked potato. Neither I nor anyone I know has ever heard of sardines on a baked potato with spices being authentic Armenian flavor. Just an attempt to sway the local diaspora to come try the place by making false claims. The owner is abrasive and rude, he is too focused on trying to go viral and being 'cool' rather than focusing on his customers and the product. The location is fine, interior is also fine though I'd say it's not particularly unique. Feels like any other new-age hipster style decor that's extremely played out and boring. I recommend you stay away and spend your money elsewhere, as you will get significantly more value and flavor anywhere else. read more
